Herein,the catalysts of ultrathin g-C_(3)N_(4)surface-modified hollow spherical Bi2MoO6(g-C_(3)N_(4)/Bi2MoO6,abbreviated as CN/BMO)were fabricated by the co-solvothermal method.The variable valence Mo^(5+)/Mo^(6+)ionic bridge in CN/BMO catalysts can boost the rapid transfer of photogenerated electrons from Bi2MoO6to g-C_(3)N_(4).And the synergy effect of g-C_(3)N_(4)and Bi2MoO6components remarkably enhance CO_(2)adsorption capability.CN/BMO-2 catalyst has the best performances for visible light-driven CO_(2)reduction compared with single Bi2MoO6and g-C_(3)N_(4),i.e.,its amount and selectivity of CO product are 139.50μmol g-1and 96.88%for 9 h,respectively.Based on the results of characterizations and density functional theory calculation,the photocatalytic mechanism for CO_(2)reduction is proposed.The high-efficient separation efficiency of photogenerated electron-hole pairs,induced by variable valence Mo^(5+)/Mo^(6+)ionic bridge,can boost the rate-limiting steps(COOH*-to-CO*and CO*desorption)of selective visible light-driven CO_(2)conversion into CO.It inspires the establishment of efficient photocatalysts for CO_(2)conversion. 展开更多

Research on Intelligent Identification of PD Patterns Based on the Fingerprint Features

Five-electrode configurations were designed to simulate the distribution inhomogeneity of electric field intensities in the air-insulating medium, and the characteristic data waveforms of partial discharge generated by different electrode configurations under the excitation of power frequency AC voltage were carefully collected in this paper. Furthermore, the feature vectors of the corresponding fingerprint, contained in partial discharge data, were extracted by rigorous mathematical algorithms, and the artificial neural network was employed to realize the pattern recognition of partial discharge caused by the inhomogeneity of electric field intensity with different electrode configurations. The results indicate that the J<sub>4</sub> value in the space of 7 feature quantities is 1905.6, and the recognition rate is 100% when the hidden layer neuron of the network is 19. However, the J<sub>5</sub> value of 9 feature quantities is 1589.9, and the purpose of recognition has been achieved when the number of hidden layer neurons of the network is 6. Increasing the number of hidden layer neurons will only waste computing resources. Of course, PD information collection mode, feature quantity selection, optimal feature space composition, network structure and classification algorithm are the key to realizing PD fault intelligence identification. 展开更多

Metallic lithium anode is widely applied to building highenergy-density batteries such as lithium–sulfur and lithium–oxygen batteries because of its high specific capacity(3860 mAh g?1)and lowest negative potential(?3.04 V vs.standard hydrogen electrode(SHE))[1,2].However,the practical applications of Li anode remain challenging[3–6].The large volume change during repeated plating/stripping of Li would cause mechanical and interfacial instability[7,8].The solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)layers on lithium surface with poor elasticity are vulnerable to crack under variable stress/strain,leading to continuous side reactions between exposed fresh Li and electrolyte[9–11].In addition,the uncontrollable nucleation and growth of Li incur the formation of dendrites,which could accelerate detrimental parasitic reactions.Because of the uneven stripping,dendritic Li may deteriorate into electrically disconnected or“dead”Li,resulting in poor Coulombic efficiency,rapid capacity decay,and short circuit risk[12–17]. 展开更多

The ultrafine particles of a new style Fe-Cu-based catalysts for CO hydrogenation were prepared by impregnating the organic sol of Fe(OH)3 and Cu(OH)2 onto the activated Al2O3, in which the organic sol of Fe(OH)3 and Cu(OH)2 were prepared in the microemulsion of dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid sodium(S)/n-butanol(A)/toluene(O)/water with V(A)/V(O) = 0.25 and W(A)/W(S) = 1.50. This catalyst was characterized by particle size analysis, XRD and TG. The results of particle size analysis showed that Fe(OH)3 particles with a mean size of 17.1 nm and Cu(OH)2 particles with an average size of 6.65 um were obtained. TG analysis and XRD patterns suggested that 673 K is the optimal calcination temperature. CO hydrogenation produced C+OH with a high selectivity above 58 wt% by using the ultrafine particles as catalyst, and the total alcohol yield of 0.250 g·ml^-1 ·h^-1 was obtained when the contents of Al2O3 and K were 88.61 wt% and 1.60 wt%, respectively. 展开更多

Mitochondria are currently known as novel targets for treating cancer,especially for tumors displaying multidrug resistance(MDR). This present study aimed to develop a mitochondriatargeted delivery system by using triphenylphosphonium cation(TPP+)-conjugated Brij 98 as the functional stabilizer to modify paclitaxel(PTX) nanocrystals(NCs) against drugresistant cancer cells. Evaluations were performed on 2 D monolayer and 3 D multicellular spheroids(MCs) of MCF-7 cells and MCF-7/ADR cells. In comparison with free PTX and the non-targeted PTX NCs,the targeted PTX NCs showed the strongest cytotoxicity against both2 D MCF-7 and MCF-7/ADR cells,which was correlated with decreased mitochondrial membrane potential. The targeted PTX NCs exhibited deeper penetration on MCF-7 MCs and more significant growth inhibition on both MCF-7 and MCF-7/ADR MCs. The proposed strategy indicated that the TPP+-modified NCs represent a potentially viable approach for targeted chemotherapeutic molecules to mitochondria. This strategy might provide promising therapeutic outcomes to overcome MDR. 展开更多

A methodology(HPLC)proposed in this paper for simultaneously quantitative determination of ilaprazole and its related impurities in commercial tablets was developed and validated.The chromatographic separation was carried out by gradient elution using an Agilent C8 column(4.6 mm×250 mm,5 mm)which was maintained at 25℃.The mobile phase composed of solvent A(methanol)and solvent B(solution consisting 0.02 mmol/l monopotassium phosphate and 0.025 mmol/l sodium hydroxide)was at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min.The samples were detected and quantified at 237 nm using an ultraviolet absorbance detector.Calibration curves of all analytes from 0.5 to 3.5 mg/ml were good linearity(r≥0.9990)and recovery was greater than 99.5% for each analyte.The lower limit of detection(LLOD)and quantification(LOQ)of this analytical method were 10 ng/ml and 25 ng/ml for all impurities,respectively.The stress studies indicated that the degradation products could not interfere with the detection of ilaprazole and its related impurities and the assay can thus be considered stability-indicating.The method precisions were in the range of 0.41-1.21 while the instrument precisions were in the range of 0.38-0.95 in terms of peak area RSD% for all impurities,respectively.This method is considered stabilityindicating and is applicable for accurate and simultaneous measuring of the ilaprazole and its related impurities in commercial enteric-coated tablets. 展开更多

To investigate the impact of particle size on in vitro/vivo performance of praziquantel(PZQ), nanocrystals(NCs) and microcrystals(MCs) of PZQ were prepared using the methods of wet milling and jet milling, respectively. PZQ NCs and MCs were characterized with dynamic light scattering, laser particle size analyzer, transmission electron microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray powder diffraction and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The average diameters of PZQ NCs and MCs were 364.4 nm and 3.7 μm, respectively. No change in crystalline form was observed. Dissolution tests were performed in two different media, where the cumulative dissolution and dissolution rate of NCs were significantly improved in comparison with those of MCs and KANGQING~? in non-sink condition. Similarly, oral bioavailability of PZQ NCs in beagle dogs was 1.68( P < 0.05) and 1.83 fold( P < 0.01) higher than that of MCs and KANGQING~? . Considering the advantages of in vitro/vivo performance and facile preparation, PZQ NCs may have a great application in the treatment of schistosomiasis. 展开更多

Objective:To investigate the active components Zuogui Pill,a typical recipe for nourishing kidney essence in the traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:Adult male Sprague Dawley rats were treated with the traditional Chinese herbal medicine Zuogui Pill and the active components found in the serum of the animals were analyzed by Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy.FTIR spectra of serum samples of treated and untreated rats were analyzed and the A2960/A2931 and A1540/A1080 ratios were calculated.Results:A2960/A2931 ratios of the serum samples collected following the administration of Zuogui Pill were significantly higher than those of the normal serum samples.FTIR data were then fitted using a Gaussian equation for wave numbers in the range of 1140e1000 cm1.ARNA/ADNA ratios in the serum of rats treated with Zuogui Pill were higher than those found in normal rat serum.Conclusion:FTIR spectroscopy could be used as an analytical tool to detect the activecomponents in serum of animals treated with Zuogui Pill. 展开更多

OBJECTIVE This study is to investigate the prevalence ofpromoter CpG island methylation of O^6-methylguananine-DNAmethyltransferase (MGMT), mismatch repair genes (hMLH1 andhMSH2) in both tumor and serum samples of gliomas.METHODS Methylation-specific PCR (MSP) was employed todetect promoter CpG island methylation of the MGMT, hMLH1and hMSH2 genes in 39 samples taken from surgery and 32samples of pretreatment serum all from the patients with gliomas.RESULTS Promoter CpG island methylation of MGMT, hMLH1and hMSH2 was detected and the results were 46.2%, 10.3% and20.5%, respectively in tumor DNA of the cases with gliomas,and 40.6%, 9.4% and 18.8%, respectively in serum DNA of thecases. The methylation pattern in primary tumor and serum wasfound to be concordant in matched tissue and serum samplesof 21 patients. In the cases with positive result of methylationfor MGMT, hMLH1 and hMSH2 in tumor tissues, the results ofdetection for those in the paired serum sample were 77.8% (7/9),66.7% (2/3) and 75.0 % (3/4), respectively. False positive resultswere not obtained in any of the patients who did not exhibitmethylation. No association was found between the promotermethylation of MGMT, hMLH1, and hMSH2 genes in primarygliomas and gender, age, localization, grade of malignant or tumorstage.CONCLUSION Promoter CpG island methylation is a frequentevent in gliomagenesis. Methylation analysis appears to bea promising predictive factor of the prognosis for the gliomapatients treated with alkylating drugs and a noninvasive tumormarker in serum DNA. 展开更多

Physicochemical Characteristics of Mauritia arabica Shell with High Temperature Calcination

Mauritia arabica shell (MAS), is widely applied as a Chinese tradition medicine after thermal decomposition. However, it is still uncertain how the thermal decomposition process affects the physicochemical properties of MAS. Moreover, the influences of these properties on the bioavailability have not been well understood. In this investigation, a temperature-programmed pyrolysis process is applied to calcine MAS to achieve the desired MAS with different physicochemical properties. The results showed that a weight loss of 43.27% - 44.73% was detected after MAS was calcined at 900°C, which was mainly attributed to the decomposition of protein, the phase transition of calcium carbonate from aragonite to calcite, and the decomposition of calcium carbonate. The activation energy in the heating duration was calculated by applying the Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose model (KAS), which was 58.13 kJ/mol for crystalline transformation and 181.27 kJ/mol for decomposition. Besides,according to the analyses from Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) tests, the crystalline of calcium carbonate in MAS was aragonite. These results provide beneficial temperature parameters for the pretreatments of MAS for pharmaceutical usages. 展开更多

Pursuit of energy-harvesting or-storage materials to realize outstanding electricity output from nature has been regarded as a promising strategy to resolve the energy-lack issue in the future. Among them,the solar cell as a solar-to-electrical conversion device has been attracted enormous interest to improve the efficiency. However, the ability to generate electricity is highly dependent on the weather conditions,in other words, there is nearly zero power output in dark-light conditions, such as rainy, cloudy, and night, lowering the monolithic power generation capacity. Here, we present a bifunctional polyaniline film via chemical bath deposition, which can harvest energy from the rain, yielding an induced current of 2.57 μA and voltage of 65.5 μV under the stimulus of real raindrop. When incorporating the functional PANi film into the traditional dye sensitized solar cell as a counter electrode, the hybridized photovoltaic can experimentally realize the enhanced output power via harvesting energy from rainy and sunny days. The current work may show a new path for development of advanced solar cells in the future. 展开更多

To optimize the nutrient supply of strawberry,fertilization was reduced as much as possible on the premise of satisfying the elements needed for strawberry growth.This study put forward a modified nutrient solution formula(NM)by adjusting the ratios of N/K,K/Ca,NO_(3)^(-)-N/NH_(4)^(+)-N in vegetative growth,flowering and fruiting,and fruit expanding stages based on Yamasaki strawberry nutrient solution formula(NY).Taking the NY as the control group,the NM was verified with elevated-grown‘Ssanta’strawberry using three different substrates(Vulcanics-added substrate,Horticultural substrate,Comme rcial substrate)in greenhouse.The results indicated that under the NM treatment,strawberry plants had better photosynthesis in the vegetative growth stage and flowering and fruiting stage,and the first crop yield and total crops yield per plant also increased by 20%.Although the vegetative growth stage was longer,it entered the full fruiting stage earlier so that the maturity stage was advanced one week.Compared to strawberries grown in horticultural substrate irrigated with NY,the fruit yield per plant of‘Ssanta’strawberry grown in horticultural substrate irrigated with NM increased by 26%,and the sugar-acid ratio and vitamin C content of primary fruits reached 10.6 and 74.1 mg/100g,improving by 41%and 34%respectively.The NM based on the growth stage can optimize the element needs of strawberry in all growth and development stages and maintain the substrate’s pH stability,improving the yield and quality of‘Ssanta’strawberry under substrate cultivation.Therefore,it is recommended to use the horticultural substrate irrigated with the modified nutrient solution for the‘Ssanta’strawberries cultivation elevated in greenhouse to improve the economic benefit of strawberry cultivation. 展开更多

Antibiotics are widely used to treat various diseases.However,growing evidence indicates that antibiotic therapy in human life increases the incidence of inflammatory bowel disease(IBD).Therefore,we need appropriate methods to reduce the incidence or symptoms of IBD.In this study,we used lincomycin hydrochloride to construct a gut micro-bial dysbiosis model in mice,and then,constructed an ulcerative colitis(UC)model.Meanwhile,we used Lactobacillus plantarum A3 from equine to treat UC in mice with gut microbial dysbiosis.The results showed that lincomycin hydro-chloride had little effect on the small gut microbiota in mice,but had a more destructive effect on the large intestin.Lactobaillus plantarum A3 alleviated the symptoms of UC in mice,which was reflected in its significantly reduced spleen index and disease activity index(DAl)(p<0.05),inhibited the shortening of colon and alleviated the invasion of inflammatory cells in the colon.Moreover,we found that it played a mitigatory role by inhibiting oxidative stress and regulating inflammatory cytokines in mice.At the same time,it restored the diversity and composition of the colonic microbiota and significantly increased the abundance of beneficial bacteria such as Blautia and Akkermansia(p<0.05);Notably,it significantly increased the concentrations of arachidonoyl ethanolamide phosphate(AEA-P)and cortisone(p<0.05)which have analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.In conclusion,our study found that Lactobacillus plan-tarum A3 has the potential to regulate UC in mice with gut microbial dysbiosis. 展开更多

Carbon dots that exhibit near-infrared fluorescence(NIR CDs)are considered emerging nanomaterials for advanced biomedical applications with low toxicity and superior photostability and targeting compared to currently used photoluminescence agents.Despite progress in the synthesis of NIR CDs,there remains a key obstacle to using them as an in vivo theranostic agent.This work demonstrates that the newly developed sulfur and nitrogen codoped NIR CDs are highly efficient in photothermal therapy(PTT)in mouse models(conversion efficiency of 59%)and can be readily visualized by photoluminescence and photoacoustic imaging.The real theranostic potential of NIR CDs is enhanced by their unique biodistribution and targeting.Contrary to all other nanomaterials that have been tested in biomedicine,they are excreted through the body’s renal filtration system.Moreover,after intravenous injection,NIR CDs are accumulated in tumor tissue via passive targeting,without any active species such as antibodies.Due to their accumulation in tumor tissue without the need for intratumor injection,high photothermal conversion,excellent optical and photoacoustic imaging performance,and renal excretion,the developed CDs are suitable for transfer to clinical biomedical practice. 展开更多

The combination of paclitaxel(PTX)and doxorubicin(DOX)has been widely used in the clinic.However,it remains unsatisfied due to the generation of severe toxicity.Previously,we have successfully synthesized a prodrug PTX-S-DOX(PSD).The prodrug displayed comparable in vitro cytotoxicity compared with the mixture of free PTX and DOX.Thus,we speculated that it could be promising to improve the anti-cancer effect and reduce adverse effects by improving the pharmacokinetics behavior of PSD and enhancing tumor accumulation.Due to the fact that copper ions(Cu2+)could coordinate with the anthracene nucleus of DOX,we speculate that the prodrug PSD could be actively loaded into liposomes by Cu2+gradient.Hence,we designed a remote loading liposomal formulation of PSD(PSD LPs)for combination chemotherapy.The prepared PSD LPs displayed extended blood circulation,improved tumor accumulation,and more significant anti-tumor efficacy compared with PSD NPs.Furthermore,PSD LPs exhibited reduced cardiotoxicity and kidney damage compared with the physical mixture of Taxol and Doxil,indicating better safety.Therefore,this novel nano-platform provides a strategy to deliver doxorubicin with other poorly soluble antineoplastic drugs for combination therapy with high efficacy and low toxicity. 展开更多

A novel polarimetric dehazing method is proposed based on three linear polarization images(0°,45°,and 90°).The polarization orientation angle of the light scattered by the haze particles is introduced in the algorithm.No additional image-processing algorithm is needed in the postprocessing.It is found that the dehazed image suffers from little noise and the details of the objects close to the observer can be preserved well.In addition,this algorithm is also proved to be useful for preserving image colors.Experimental results demonstrate that such an algorithm has some universality in handling all kinds of haze.We think that this robust algorithm might be very suitable for real-time dehazing. 展开更多
