Event-triggered H_(∞) PI state estimation for delayed switched neural networks

On state estimation problems of switched neural networks,most existing results with an event-triggered scheme(ETS)not only ignore the estimator information,but also just employ a fixed triggering threshold,and the estimation error cannot be guaranteed to converge to zero.In addition,the state estimator of non-switched neural networks with integral and exponentially convergent terms cannot be used to improve the estimation performance of switched neural networks due to the difficulties caused by the nonsmoothness of the considered Lyapunov function at the switching instants.In this paper,we aim at overcoming such difficulties and filling in the gaps,by proposing a novel adaptive ETS(AETS)to design an event-based H_(∞)switched proportional-integral(PI)state estimator.A triggering-dependent exponential convergence term and an integral term are introduced into the switched PI state estimator.The relationship among the average dwell time,the AETS and the PI state estimator are established by the triggering-dependent exponential convergence term such that estimation error asymptotically converges to zero with H_(∞)performance level.It is shown that the convergence rate of the resultant error system can be adaptively adjusted according to triggering signals.Finally,the validity of the proposed theoretical results is verified through two illustrative examples. 展开更多

Larix gmelinii var.principis-rupprechtii(Mayr.)Pilger is an important native tree species in North China with advantages of fast growth,straight trunk,and good wood properties.The multi-year and multi-site breeding research of families of the species has not been reported previously.Based on diameter at breast height(DBH),height and volume of 25 families on four experimental sites,we calculated variance components,genetic parameters,juvenile and mature trait correlations and made genotype main effect plus genotype×environment interaction effect(GGE)biplot based on the breeding values estimated using the method of best linear unbiased prediction(BLUP).Compared with height,DBH and volume had higher heritability and larger variation coefficients,making them the more suitable traits for family selection and evaluation.Based on these,GGE biplots containing 20 combinations of site×age were drawn using data at 13 to 17 years when the interactions between family and location were strong.Test sites classifications based on DBH,and volume were inconsistent,with two categories for DBH and one for volume.The Guyuan site was the most suitable with strong discriminating ability,high representativeness and stability among tree ages.Integrating the ranking results of DBH and volume,families 66,76,82 and 111 were high-yielding and stable,families 78 and96 were high-yielding with above average stability,families72 and 79 were high-yielding with below average stability,whereas stability of family 100 was inconsistent between DBH and volume.Early selection based on DBH was convenient and reliable,and can be made at seven years.This study provides support for the selection of Larix gmelinii var.principis-rupprechtii families in Hebei province and an example for the application of stem analysis data from multiple sites in tree breeding. 展开更多

On basis of thermodynamic empirical equations, the thermodynamic parameters for the direct amination of isobutylene to tert‐butylamine, an atomically economic and green chemical reaction,were calculated. In particular, the equilibrium conversion of isobutylene under various reactionconditions close to those used in industry was calculated and discussed. Isobutylene amination is atemperature sensitive reaction due to its exothermic nature and isobutylene equilibrium conversiondecreases with temperature. However, kinetically, the amination reaction will be faster at ahigher temperature. Thus, there must be an optimum temperature for the reaction. A high pressureand n(NH3)/n(i‐C4H8) molar ratio promote the transformation of isobutylene to tert‐butylamine.Developing a highly efficient catalyst under mild reaction conditions is preferred for the aminationprocess. The reaction was investigated over a series of acidic zeolites. ZSM‐11 zeolite exhibited thebest performance with 14.2% isobutylene conversion (52.2% of the equilibrium conversion) and >99.0% tert‐butylamine selectivity. The effect of reaction conditions on the performance of the ZSM‐11 catalyst agreed with the thermodynamic results, which provides guidance for further catalyst development and reaction condition optimization. 展开更多

The aromatization of light alkenes in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) with and without dimethyl ether (DME) addition in the feed was investigated on a modified ZSM-5 catalyst.The results showed that under the given reaction conditions the selectivity of alkenes to high-octane gasoline blending components was markedly enhanced and the formation of propane and butanes was greatly suppressed with the addition of DME.It was also found that the distribution of C5+ components was changed a lot with DME addition into the LPG feed.The formation of branched hydrocarbons (mainly C6 C8 i-paraffin) and multi-methyl substituted aromatics,which are high octane number gasoline blending components,was promoted significantly,while the content of n-paraffins and olefins in C5+ components was decreased obviously,indicating that in addition to the oligomerization,cracking,hydrogen-transfer and dehydrogenation-cyclization of alkenes,the methylation of the formed aromatics and olefins intermediates also plays an important role in determining the product distribution due to the high reactivity of surface methoxy groups formed by DME.And this process,in combination with the syngas-to-methanol/DME technology,provides an alternative way to the production of high-octane gasoline from coal,natural gas or renewable raw materials. 展开更多

The atomically economic and green chemical reaction of direct amination of isobutylene to tertbutylamine, particularly under the relative mild reaction conditions available for future industrial use,was carried out over zeolite catalysts possessing different topological structures, from one dimensional to three dimensional pore system, and from small 8-member ring pore(MRP) to medium 10 MRP and further to large 12 MRP zeolites, to disclose the relationship between the zeolite properties/topologies and their amination performance systematically under the mild reaction conditions. It was discovered that the pore structure and the acidities of zeolite catalysts played crucial roles in the isobutylene amination process, and suitable pore diameter(larger than 0.5 nm or with large side pockets/cups in the outside surface) and a certain number of mid-strong acid sites are indispensable to catalyze the amination reaction,while too strong acid strength was not conducive to the process of isobutylene amination. Among them,zeolites with topologies of BEA, MFI, MEL, MWW and EUO exhibited good amination performance, with which the isobutylene conversion was higher than 12.61%(>46.42% of the equilibrium conversion) under the studied mild reaction conditions. Due to the good amination performance and the large adjustable Si/Al;ratio range, ZSM-5 was selected to further study the effect of acidity on the amination performance systematically under the mild reaction conditions, and the activity-acidity relationship in the amination process was disclosed: the amination activity(isobutylene conversion) had a linear correlation with the amount of mid-strong B acidity under the studied conditions over ZSM-5 catalyst, which can provide guidance for further developing high-efficient amination catalyst under mild reaction conditions available for future industrial use. 展开更多

Fifth-generation(5G)communication requires spatial multiplexing multiple-input multiple-output systems with integrated hardware.With the increase in the number of users and emergence of the Internet of Things devices,complex beamforming devices have become particularly important in future wireless systems to meet different communication requirements,where independent amplitude and phase modulations are urgently required for integrated beamforming devices.Herein,by utilizing the constructive interference between multiple geometricphase responses,the mathematical relation for decoupling amplitude and phase modulations in the radiation-type operational mode is derived.Based on this strategy,complex-amplitude radiation-type metasurfaces(RA-Ms)are implemented,with an integrated feeding network.Such metasurfaces exploit full 2πphase modulation and tailorable radiation amplitude in the circular polarization state.Meanwhile,a complex-amplitude retrieval method is developed to design the RA-Ms,enabling precise beamforming performances.On this basis,several functional devices based on the complex-amplitude RA-Ms,including energy-allocable multi-router,shape-editable beam generator,and complex beamformer,are demonstrated in the microwave region.The amplitude-phase decoupling mechanism with the retrieval method merges amplitude and phase modulations,and energy distribution into one compact and integrated electromagnetic component and may find applications in multi-target detection,5G mobile communication,and short-range ground-to-sea radar. 展开更多

Recently,two-dimensional MXene materials have attracted numerous attention in electromagnetic wave shielding/absorption.Hybridizing magnetic materials and constructing multi-dimensional structures in MXene is highly beneficial to improve electromagnetic wave absorption properties.Herein,we demonstrate a strategy for in situ growing 0 D CoNi nanoalloy-encapsulated 1 D N-doped carbon nanotubes on a2 D Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene sheet through an electrostatic assembly process followed by a high-temperature pyrolysis process.The resultant 201-structured MXene-CoNi@N-doped carbon nanotube(MXene-CoNi@NCNT)composites displayed high surface areas(55.6-103.7 m^(2)/g),moderate magnetism(19.8-24.6 emu/g),and excellent thermal oxidation stabilities(≥ 307℃).In addition,the unique 2 D/0 D/1 D architectures entrusted the composites with abundant interfaces,various defects,and numerous nitrogen dopants.Taking advantage of the special 201 structure and the existence of both magnetic and dielectric loss,the MXeneCoNi@NCNT composite showed great impedance matching and strong attenuation performance.A strong reflection loss of-55.3 dB was achieved when the coating thickness was 2.1 mm,and a wide effective absorption bandwidth of 4.3 GHz was achieved at a thickness of 1.5 mm,much superior to that of similar absorbers.This work demonstrates a novel strategy for designing electromagnetic wave absorbers with magnetic and dielectric losses accompanied by multiple dimensional structures. 展开更多
