This study investigated the fretting wear and fatigue of full-scale railway axles.Fatigue tests were conducted on full-scale railway axles,and the fretting wear and fretting fatigue in the fretted zone of the railway axles were analysed.Three-dimensional finite element models were established based on the experimental results.Then,multi-axial fatigue parameters and a linear elastic fracture mechanics-based approach were used to investigate the fretting fatigue crack initiation and propagation,respectively,in which the role of the fretting wear was taken into account.The experimental and simulated results showed that the fretted zone could be divided into zones I-III according to the surface damage morphologies.Fretting wear alleviated the stress concentration near the wheel seat edge and resulted in a new stress concentration near the worn/unworn boundary in zone II,which greatly promoted the fretting crack initiation at the inner side of the fretted zone.Meanwhile,the stress concentration also increased the equivalent stress intensity factor range DKeq below the mating surface,and thus promoted the propagation of fretting fatigue crack.Based on these findings,the effect of the stress redistribution resulting from fretting wear is suggested to be taken into account when evaluating the fretting fatigue in railway axles. 展开更多

Achieving highly regioselective synthesis in organic chemistry is challenging due to the uncontrollable orientation between reacting partners.External electric fields(EEFs)can influence the reactivity and selectivity of the substrate by causing directional adsorption.However,scalable and efficient techniques for using EEFs as“smart catalysts”have been lacking,hindering their application.In this study,we present a novel method for modifying the regioselectivity of quinoxaline-2(1H)-ones by functionalizing their C7-position using the electric double layer(EDL)theory.This approach led to moderate to good yields of the corresponding C7-thiocyanation products.DFT calculations and control experiments demonstrated that EEFs could reverse the regioselectivity of quinoxaline-2(1H)-ones,allowing the C7-thiocyanation to proceed via a radical reaction mechanism.Additionally,the resulting 7-thiocyano-1-methylquinoxaline-2(1H)-ones exhibited promising AIE properties.Our work showcases a promising strategy for achieving highly regioselective functionalization by aligning the electric field with the desired reaction/bond axis. 展开更多

According to the precise ephemeris has only provided satellite position that is discrete not any time,so propose that make use of interpolation method to calculate satellite position at any time.The essay take advantage of IGS precise ephemeris data to calculate satellite position at some time by using Lagrange interpolation,Newton interpolation,Hermite interpolation,Cubic spline interpolation method,Chebyshev fitting method respectively,which has a deeply analysis in the precision of five interpolations. The results show that the precision of Cubic spline interpolation method is the worst,the precision of Chebyshev fitting is better than Hermite interpolation method. Lagrange interpolation and Newton interpolation are better than other methods in precision. Newton interpolation method has the advantages of high speed and high precision. Therefore,Newton interpolation method has a certain scientific significance and practical value to get the position of the satellite quickly and accurately. 展开更多
