However, the accuracy of indoor localization is hard to improve because the signal propagation has small scale effects which leads to inaccurate measurements. In this paper, we propose an efficient learning approach that combines grid search based kernel support vector machine and principle component analysis. The proposed approach applies principle component analysis to reduce high dimensional measurements. Then we design a grid search algorithm to optimize the parameters of kernel support vector machine in order to improve the localization accuracy. Experimental results indicate that the proposed approach reduces the localization error and improves the computational efficiency comparing with K-nearest neighbor, Back Propagation Neural Network and Support Vector Machine based methods.展开更多
Circulating peptide is a potential source of biomarkers for cancer detection.However,the existence of large molecular weight proteins in plasma have a disastrous effect on circulating peptides isolating and detecting....Circulating peptide is a potential source of biomarkers for cancer detection.However,the existence of large molecular weight proteins in plasma have a disastrous effect on circulating peptides isolating and detecting.Herein,nanotrap fractionation following by mass spectrometry have been applied to quantify the levels of bradykinin (BK) and hydroxylated bradykinin (Hyp-BK) as a relative measure of KRAS-regulated prolyl-4-hydroxylase alpha-1 (P4HA1) which may serve as early diagnosis marker for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).We found that P4HA1 can be upregulated by KRASG12v,which is a PDAC driver mutation,using HPNE/KRAS and HPNE cells.And we revealed that P4HA1 is overexpressed in PDAC tumors,compared to normal and inflamed pancreatic tissues.RNA interference revealed that P4HA1 activity was primarily responsible for Hyp-BK production.Mass spectrometry analysis revealed that plasma Hyp-BK/BK ratio was higher in PDAC than pancreatitis patients and healthy controls,while the area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve (AUC) is 0.8209 (95%Cl,0.7269-0.9149).The Hyp-BK/BK association with PDAC was reproduced in another cohort,where this ratio was found to increase with advancing tumor stage.These novel findings paved the way for wider applications of Nanotrap coupled mass spectrometry as a powerful tool for revealing biosignatures from plasma.展开更多
In order to improve the quality of routine cervical smears,we investigated the new Thinprep cytologic test(TCT)for cervical cells.In this study,100 women who were enrolled were randomly divided into two groups.In one ...In order to improve the quality of routine cervical smears,we investigated the new Thinprep cytologic test(TCT)for cervical cells.In this study,100 women who were enrolled were randomly divided into two groups.In one group,the TCT for cervical cells was applied(TCT group),and in the other group routine cervical smear was used.In addition,the cells in the TCT group were screened by double sifters,and centrifuged using a separation medium so as to eliminate mucus,inflammatory cells and blood cells.According to the cell distribution and the thickness of the smear,the results were assigned to three groups,including satisfactory smears,less satisfactory smears and unsatisfactory smears.The TCT had a higher satisfactory rate(98%)compared to the routine cervical smear(32%)(P<0.01),indicating the TCT was superior to the routine cervical smear.It is concluded that the TCT is more acceptable.Meanwhile,in comparison to the routine cervical smear,the TCT for cervical cells has 5 advantages which can greatly increase the cytological accuracy.展开更多
