In this survey, a comprehensive review of KG and KG reasoning is provided. It introduces an overview of KGs, including representation, storage, and essential technologies. Specifically, it summarizes several types of knowledge reasoning approaches, including logic rules-based, representation-based, and neural network-based methods. Moreover, this paper analyzes the representation methods of knowledge hypergraphs. To effectively model hyper-relational data and improve the performance of knowledge reasoning, a three-layer knowledge hypergraph model is proposed. Finally, it analyzes the advantages of three-layer knowledge hypergraphs through reasoning and update algorithms which could facilitate future research.展开更多
Purpose:This study aimed to investigate the current status of self-differentiation and professional adaptability among undergraduate nursing students,to analyze the relationship between these two variables,and to prov...Purpose:This study aimed to investigate the current status of self-differentiation and professional adaptability among undergraduate nursing students,to analyze the relationship between these two variables,and to provide recommendations for nursing educators.Methods:A total of 341 nursing undergraduate students at the University of South China were investigated using the Differentiation of Self Inventory and the Professional Adaptability Scale for college students.Results:The mean scores of self-differentiation and professional adaptability were 3.70±0.60 and 2.87±0.37,respectively,and the two variables were positively correlated(P<0.01).Conclusion:The level of self-differentiation of undergraduate nursing studentsaffects their professional adaptability.Nursing educators should consider the characteristics of self-differentiation of undergraduate nursing students in developing measures to improve their professional adaptability.展开更多

The morphology, structure and element distribution of the film were measured by scanning electric...Ti/TiN multilayer film was deposited on uranium surface by arc ion plating technique to improve fretting wear behavior. The morphology, structure and element distribution of the film were measured by scanning electric microscopy(SEM), X-ray diffractometry(XRD) and Auger electron spectroscopy(AES). Fretting wear tests of uranium and Ti/TiN multilayer film were carried out using pin-on-disc configuration. The fretting tests of uranium and Ti/TiN multilayer film were carried out under normal load of 20 N and various displacement amplitudes ranging from 5 to 100 μm. With the increase of the displacement amplitude, the fretting changed from partial slip regime(PSR) to slip regime(SR). The coefficient of friction(COF) increased with the increase of displacement amplitude. The results indicated that the displacement amplitude had a strong effect on fretting wear behavior of the film. The damage of the film was very slight when the displacement amplitude was below 20 μm. The observations indicated that the delamination was the main wear mechanism of Ti/TiN multilayer film in PSR. The main wear mechanism of Ti/TiN multilayer film in SR was delamination and abrasive wear.展开更多

Few studies have investigated the effect of predator stress, a type of ...Stress has been suggested to disturb the 5-hydroxytryptamine system and decrease neurogenesis, which contribute to the development of depression. Few studies have investigated the effect of predator stress, a type of psychological stress, on depression and hippocampal neurogenesis in adult mice; we therefore investigated this in the present study. A total of 35 adult male Kunming mice were allocated to a cat stress group, cat odor stress group, cat stress + fluoxetine group, cat odor stress + fluoxetine group, or a control group(no stress/treatment). After 12 days of cat stress or cat odor stress, behavioral correlates of depression were measured using the open field test, elevated plus maze test, and dark-avoidance test. The concentrations of hippocampal 5-hydroxytryptamine and 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid were measured using high-performance liquid chromatography-electrochemical detection. Neurogenesis was also analyzed using a bromodeoxyuridine and doublecortin double-immunostaining method. Cat stress and cat odor stress induced depression-like behaviors; this effect was stronger in the cat stress model. Furthermore, compared with the control group, cat stress mice exhibited lower 5-hydroxytryptamine concentrations, higher 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid concentrations, and significantly fewer bromodeoxyuridine+/doublecortin+-labeled cells in the dentate gyrus, which was indicative of less neurogenesis. The changes observed in the cat stress group were not seen in the cat stress + fluoxetine group, which suggests that the effects of predator stress on depression and neurogenesis were reversed by fluoxetine. Taken together, our results indicate that depression-like behaviors induced by predator stress are associated with the inhibition of hippocampal neurogenesis.展开更多
Objective:Xiaoyao san(XYS)is a classic traditional Chinese medicinal formula.It has been clinically administered to regulate liver function.However,its mechanisms in glucocorticoid-induced hepatic steatosis are unknow...Objective:Xiaoyao san(XYS)is a classic traditional Chinese medicinal formula.It has been clinically administered to regulate liver function.However,its mechanisms in glucocorticoid-induced hepatic steatosis are unknown.This study aimed to investigate whether XYS protects against corticosterone(CORT)-induced hepatic steatosis,and to explore its mechanism.Methods:High-fat diet mice induced with hepatic steatosis by 2mg/kg CORT were administered 2.56 g/kg or 5.12 g/kg XYS daily for 7 weeks.The effects of XYS on hepatic steatosis in mice were evaluated by H&E and Oil Red O staining and by measuring their plasma lipids(triglyceride,total cholesterol,and free fatty acids).The mechanism of XYS against hepatic steatosis was investigated by network pharmacology,immunohistochemistry,western blotting,and gain-of-function/loss-offunction experiments.Results:XYS alleviated CORT-induced steatosis,decreased plasma lipids,and inhibited glucocorticoid receptor(GR)activation in the liver.Network pharmacology data indicated that XYS may have mitigated hepatic steatosis via GR which mediated adipose differentiation-related protein(ADFP).Gain-of-function/loss-of-function experiments in vitro confirmed that GR positively regulated ADFP expression.Conclusions:XYS ameliorated CORT-induced hepatic steatosis by downregulating the GR/ADFP axis and inhibiting lipid metabolism.Our studies implicate that XYS is promising as a therapy for CORT-induced hepatic steatosis,and lay the foundation for designing novel prophylactic and therapeutic strategies on CORT-induced hepatic steatosis.展开更多

Methods:Patients with diabetic ketoacidosis who were treated in Meizhou Maternal and Child Heath Hospital between May 2014 and March 2017 were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into the group A who received subcutaneous insulin infusion by insulin pump and the group B who received intravenous small-dose insulin injection by micropump. The indexes of ketone body, blood gas and stress were measured before and after treatment. Results: 12 h and 24 h after treatment, serumβ-hydroxybutyrate, MDA, NE, ACTH and Cor contents of both groups of patients were significantly lower than those before treatment while pH, HCO3- and base excess levels as well as serum SOD, GSH-Px, CAT and TAC contents were significantly higher than those before treatment, and serumβ-hydroxybutyrate, MDA, NE, ACTH and Cor contents of group A were significantly lower than those of group B while pH, HCO3- and base excess levels as well as serum SOD, GSH-Px, CAT and TAC contents were significantly higher than those of group B.Conclusion:Subcutaneous insulin infusion by insulin pump can improve ketone body metabolism, acidosis status and stress state in patients with diabetic ketoacidosis.展开更多

To understand the effects of Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG(ATCC 53103)on intestinal barrier function in pre-weaning piglets under normal conditions,twenty-four newborn littermate piglets were randomly divided into two gr...To understand the effects of Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG(ATCC 53103)on intestinal barrier function in pre-weaning piglets under normal conditions,twenty-four newborn littermate piglets were randomly divided into two groups.Piglets in the control group were orally administered with 2 mL 0.1 g/mL sterilized skim milk while the treatment group was administered the same volume of sterilized skim milk with the addition of viable L.rhamnosus at the 1st,3rd,and 5th days after birth.The feeding trial was conducted for 25 d.Results showed that piglets in the L.rhamnosus group exhibited increased weaning weight and average daily weight gain,whereas diarrhea incidence was decreased.The bacterial abundance and composition of cecal contents,especially Firmicutes,Bacteroidetes,and Fusobacteria,were altered by probiotic treatment.In addition,L.rhamnosus increased the jejunal permeability and promoted the immunologic barrier through regulating antimicrobial peptides,cytokines,and chemokines via Toll-like receptors.Our findings indicate that oral administration of L.rhamnosus GG to newborn piglets is beneficial for intestinal health of pre-weaning piglets by improving the biological,physical,and immunologic barriers of intestinal mucosa.展开更多
Although stress has been known to increase the susceptibility of pathogen infection,the underlying mechanism remains elusive.In this study,we reported that restraint stress dramatically enhanced the morbidity and mort...Although stress has been known to increase the susceptibility of pathogen infection,the underlying mechanism remains elusive.In this study,we reported that restraint stress dramatically enhanced the morbidity and mortality of mice infected with the influenza virus(H1N1)and obviously aggravated lung inflammation.Corticosterone(CORT),a main type of glucocorticoids in rodents,was secreted in the plasma of stressed mice.We further found that this stress hormone significantly boosted virus replication by restricting mitochondrial antiviral signaling(MAVS)protein-transduced IFN-βproduction without affecting its mRNA level,while the deficiency of MAVS abrogated stress/CORT-induced viral susceptibility in mice.Mechanistically,the effect of CORT was mediated by proteasome-dependent degradation of MAVS,thereby resulting in the impediment of MAVS-transduced IFN-βgeneration in vivo and in vitro.Furthermore,RNA-seq assay results indicated the involvement of Mitofusin 2(Mfn2)in this process.Gain-and loss-offunction experiments indicated that Mfn2 interacted with MAVS and recruited E3 ligase SYVN1 to promote the polyubiquitination of MAVS.Co-immunoprecipitation experiments clarified an interaction between any two regions of Mfn2(HR1),MAVS(C-terminal/TM)and SYVN1(TM).Collectively,our findings define the Mfn2-SYVN1 axis as a new signaling cascade for proteasome-dependent degradation of MAVS and a‘fine tuning’of antiviral innate immunity in response to influenza infection under stress.展开更多
The effect of tin on general and pitting corrosion behaviors of the austenitic stainless steel in sulfuric acid and sodium chloride solutions was investigated by potentiostatic critical pitting temperature, cyclic pot...The effect of tin on general and pitting corrosion behaviors of the austenitic stainless steel in sulfuric acid and sodium chloride solutions was investigated by potentiostatic critical pitting temperature, cyclic potentiodynamic polarization, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy. The results showed that there is an optimal tin addition which is around (0.062-0.1) wt%, and the general corrosion resistance of B316LX with 0.08 wt% tin addition in boiling H2SO4 increased remarkably with a corrosion rate of an order of magnitude lower than that of 316L. Hydrolyzation of tin ions induces more metastable pit occurrence on the material surface. However, the pitting resistance of B316LX increases because tin oxides improve the density and uniformity of the passive film, and hydroxide and oxide of tin inhabit the process of pit growing. The effect of tin on pitting corrosion process is illustrated schematically.展开更多

Results: 12 h and 24 h after treatment, serumβ-hydroxybutyrate, MDA, NE, ACTH and Cor contents of both groups of patients were significantly lower than those before treatment while pH, HCO3- and base excess levels as well as serum SOD, GSH-Px, CAT and TAC contents were significantly higher than those before treatment, and serumβ-hydroxybutyrate, MDA, NE, ACTH and Cor contents of group A were significantly lower than those of group B while pH, HCO3- and base excess levels as well as serum SOD, GSH-Px, CAT and TAC contents were significantly higher than those of group B.Conclusion:Subcutaneous insulin infusion by insulin pump can improve ketone body metabolism, acidosis status and stress state in patients with diabetic ketoacidosis.

Several studies have demonstrated that impaired lipid metabolism is closely related to neurological diseases among the elderly^(1). Lipidomics can serve us well in identifying and quantifying lipid molecules in cells, tissues, and organisms at the system level. However, finding out biologically meaningful lipids from the massive lipidomics data is not straightforward.

文摘To understand the effects of Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG(ATCC 53103)on intestinal barrier function in pre-weaning piglets under normal conditions,twenty-four newborn littermate piglets were randomly divided into two groups.Piglets in the control group were orally administered with 2 mL 0.1 g/mL sterilized skim milk while the treatment group was administered the same volume of sterilized skim milk with the addition of viable L.rhamnosus at the 1st,3rd,and 5th days after birth.The feeding trial was conducted for 25 d.Results showed that piglets in the L.rhamnosus group exhibited increased weaning weight and average daily weight gain,whereas diarrhea incidence was decreased.The bacterial abundance and composition of cecal contents,especially Firmicutes,Bacteroidetes,and Fusobacteria,were altered by probiotic treatment.In addition,L.rhamnosus increased the jejunal permeability and promoted the immunologic barrier through regulating antimicrobial peptides,cytokines,and chemokines via Toll-like receptors.Our findings indicate that oral administration of L.rhamnosus GG to newborn piglets is beneficial for intestinal health of pre-weaning piglets by improving the biological,physical,and immunologic barriers of intestinal mucosa.

文摘Although stress has been known to increase the susceptibility of pathogen infection,the underlying mechanism remains elusive.In this study,we reported that restraint stress dramatically enhanced the morbidity and mortality of mice infected with the influenza virus(H1N1)and obviously aggravated lung inflammation.Corticosterone(CORT),a main type of glucocorticoids in rodents,was secreted in the plasma of stressed mice.We further found that this stress hormone significantly boosted virus replication by restricting mitochondrial antiviral signaling(MAVS)protein-transduced IFN-βproduction without affecting its mRNA level,while the deficiency of MAVS abrogated stress/CORT-induced viral susceptibility in mice.Mechanistically,the effect of CORT was mediated by proteasome-dependent degradation of MAVS,thereby resulting in the impediment of MAVS-transduced IFN-βgeneration in vivo and in vitro.Furthermore,RNA-seq assay results indicated the involvement of Mitofusin 2(Mfn2)in this process.Gain-and loss-offunction experiments indicated that Mfn2 interacted with MAVS and recruited E3 ligase SYVN1 to promote the polyubiquitination of MAVS.Co-immunoprecipitation experiments clarified an interaction between any two regions of Mfn2(HR1),MAVS(C-terminal/TM)and SYVN1(TM).Collectively,our findings define the Mfn2-SYVN1 axis as a new signaling cascade for proteasome-dependent degradation of MAVS and a‘fine tuning’of antiviral innate immunity in response to influenza infection under stress.

文摘The effect of tin on general and pitting corrosion behaviors of the austenitic stainless steel in sulfuric acid and sodium chloride solutions was investigated by potentiostatic critical pitting temperature, cyclic potentiodynamic polarization, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy. The results showed that there is an optimal tin addition which is around (0.062-0.1) wt%, and the general corrosion resistance of B316LX with 0.08 wt% tin addition in boiling H2SO4 increased remarkably with a corrosion rate of an order of magnitude lower than that of 316L. Hydrolyzation of tin ions induces more metastable pit occurrence on the material surface. However, the pitting resistance of B316LX increases because tin oxides improve the density and uniformity of the passive film, and hydroxide and oxide of tin inhabit the process of pit growing. The effect of tin on pitting corrosion process is illustrated schematically.

文摘Objective:Alternative splicing can generate various structural and functional protein isoforms.Recently,accumulating evidence shows a relationship between alternative splicing and cancer.Cancer is a complex and chronic disease that involves malignant transformation.In this review,we consider alternative splicing events in relation to the hallmarks of cancer cells,and discuss current therapies to treat cancer-related to alternative splicing.Data sources:Data cited in this article are from the PubMed and Embase database,primarily focusing on research published from 2000 to 2018.Study selection:Articles were selected with the search terms“alternative splicing,”“cancer cell,”“tumor microenvironment,”and“therapy.”Results:Alternative splicing plays an important role in tumorigenesis,development,and escape from cell death.Taking this trait of cancer cells into consideration will allow more definite diagnoses of cancer,and allow the development of more effective medicines to intervene in cancer that could focus on controlling alternative splicing or competitively binding to the final products.Conclusions:Alternative splicing is common in cancer cells.Consideration of alternative splicing may allow different strategies for cancer therapy or the identification of novel biomarkers for cancer diagnosis.
