Globally about half of the world’s population is under micronutrient malnutrition due to poor quality food intake.To overcome this problem,fortification and biofortification techniques are often used.Biofortification is considered a better option than fortification due to the easy control of nutrient deficiencies present in daily food.This field experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of foliar application of a micronutrient mixture(MNM)consisting of zinc(Zn),iron(Fe),copper(Cu),manganese(Mn)and boron(B)on yield and flour quality of wheat.The results show the effectiveness of foliar feeding for growth and yield parameters,in addition to the enriching of wheat grains with Zn,Cu,Fe,Mn and B.Compared to the control without foliar feeding,foliar application on wheat crop increased tillering ability,spike length,grain yield and the contents of Zn,Cu,Mn,Fe and B by 21,47,22,22 and 25%in wheat flour,respectively.Therefore,foliar feeding of micronutrients could be an effective approach to enrich wheat grains with essential nutrients for correcting malnutrition. 展开更多

Phytoremediation is a valuable technology for mitigating soil contamination in agricultural lands,but phytoremediation without economic revenue is unfeasible for land owners and farmers.The use of crops with high biomass and bioenergy for phytoremediation is a unique strategy to derive supplementary benefits along with remediation activities.Sunflower(Helianthus annuus L.)is a high-biomass crop that can be used for the phytoremediation of polluted lands with additional advantages(biomass and oil).In this study,40 germplasms of sunflower were screened in field conditions for phytoremediation with the possibility for oil and meal production.The study was carried out to the physiological maturity stage.All studied germplasms mopped up substantial concentrations of Pb,with maximum amounts in shoot>root>seed respectively.The phytoextraction efficiency of the germplasm was assessed in terms of the Transfer factor(TF),Metal removal efficiency(MRE)and Metal extraction ratio(MER).Among all assessed criteria,GP.8585 was found to be most appropriate for restoring moderately Pb-contaminated soil accompanied with providing high biomass and high yield production.The Pb content in the oil of GP.8585 was below the Food safety standard of China,with 59.5% oleic acid and 32.1% linoleic acid.Moreover,amino acid analysis in meal illustrated significant differences among essential and nonessential amino acids.Glutamic acid was found in the highest percentage(22.4%),whereas cysteine in the lowest percentage(1.3%).Therefore,its efficient phytoextraction ability and good quality edible oil and meal production makes GP.8585 the most convenient sunflower germplasm for phytoremediation of moderately Pb-contaminated soil,with fringe benefits to farmers and landowners. 展开更多

目的:筛选镉-硝酸盐共低积累空心菜基因型,并研究降低空心菜重金属含量,提高营养品质的农艺措施。创新点:首次筛选得到镉-硝酸盐共低积累空心菜基因型,并研究空心菜可食部污染物、矿质元素和营养指标之间的相关性,提出进一步降低空心菜... 目的:筛选镉-硝酸盐共低积累空心菜基因型,并研究降低空心菜重金属含量,提高营养品质的农艺措施。创新点:首次筛选得到镉-硝酸盐共低积累空心菜基因型,并研究空心菜可食部污染物、矿质元素和营养指标之间的相关性,提出进一步降低空心菜可食部镉和硝酸盐含量的农艺措施。方法:共38个空心菜基因型收集于世界各地,种植在连作了7年的中度镉-硝酸盐复合污染土壤上(Cd1.10 mg/kg,NO_3^-235.2 mg/kg),4周后收获。用HNO_3-HClO_4(体积比5:1)消煮,电感耦合等离子体质谱仪(ICP-MS)测定各种金属元素,水杨酸-硫酸比色法测定硝酸盐含量,钒钼黄比色法测定磷含量,2,6-二氯靛酚滴定法测定维生素C含量,乙醇-丙酮(体积比2:1)比色法测定叶绿素含量。结论:本试验筛选得到镉-硝酸盐共低积累空心菜基因型4个(Cd<0.71 mg/kg DW,NO_3^-<3100 mg/kgFW),分别是JXDY、GZQL、XGDB和B888,可以在中轻度镉-硝酸盐复合污染土壤上安全生产。空心菜地上部镉与铅、锌含量呈正相关,而这3种元素均与磷量呈负相关。这些结果表明镉、铅和锌通过相同的途径被空心菜吸收,可以同时被治理。增加磷肥供应率可以抑制复合污染土壤中的镉和硝酸盐向空心菜可食部的转移。 展开更多

As Internet access widens,IDS(Intrusion Detection System)is becoming a very important component of network security to prevent unauthorized use and misuse of data.An IDS routinely handles massive amounts of data traffic that contain redundant and irrelevant features,which impact the performance of the IDS negatively.Feature selection methods play an important role in eliminating unrelated and redundant features in IDS.Statistical analysis,neural networks,machine learning,data mining techniques,and support vector machine models are employed in some such methods.Good feature selection leads to better classification accuracy.Recently,bio-inspired optimization algorithms have been used for feature selection.This work provides a survey of feature selection techniques for IDS,including bio-inspired algorithms. 展开更多
