The application of mathematical modeling to biological fluids is of utmost importance, as it has diverse applicationsin medicine. The peristaltic mechanism plays a crucial role in understanding numerous biological flows. In thispaper, we present a theoretical investigation of the double diffusion convection in the peristaltic transport of aPrandtl nanofluid through an asymmetric tapered channel under the combined action of thermal radiation andan induced magnetic field. The equations for the current flow scenario are developed, incorporating relevantassumptions, and considering the effect of viscous dissipation. The impact of thermal radiation and doublediffusion on public health is of particular interest. For instance, infrared radiation techniques have been used totreat various skin-related diseases and can also be employed as a measure of thermotherapy for some bones toenhance blood circulation, with radiation increasing blood flow by approximately 80%. To solve the governingequations, we employ a numerical method with the aid of symbolic software such as Mathematica and MATLAB.The velocity, magnetic force function, pressure rise, temperature, solute (species) concentration, and nanoparticlevolume fraction profiles are analytically derived and graphically displayed. It is now well established that the biology of cancer is influenced by not only malignant cells but also other components of the tumour microenvironment.Chronic inflammation and fibrosis have long been postulated to be involved in carcinogenesis.Chronic inflammation can promote tumorigenesis via growth factor/cytokine-mediated cellular proliferation,apoptotic resistance,immunosuppression;and free-radical-induced oxidative deoxyribonucleic acid damage.Fibrosis could cause a perturbation in the dynamics of the tumour microenvironment,potentially damaging the genome surveillance machinery of normal epithelial cells.In this review,we will provide an in-depth discussion of various diseases characterised by inflammation and fibrosis that have been associated with an increased risk of malignancy.In particular,we will present a comprehensive overview of the impact of alterations in stromal composition on tumorigenesis,induced as a consequence of inflammation and/or fibrosis.Strategies including the application of various therapeutic agents with stromal manipulation potential and targeted cancer screening for certain inflammatory diseases which can reduce the risk of cancer will also be discussed. 展开更多

Current research is about the injection of a viscous fluid in the presence of a transverse uniform magnetic field to reduce the sliding drag.There is a slip-on both the slider and the ground in the two cases,for example,a long porous slider and a circular porous slider.By utilizing similarity transformation Navier-Stokes equations are converted into coupled equations which are tackled by Integral Transform Method.Solutions are obtained for different values of Reynolds numbers,velocity slip,and magnetic field.We found that surface slip and Reynolds number has a substantial influence on the lift and drag of long and circular sliders,whereas the magnetic effect is also noticeable. 展开更多

This paper presents the mathematical analysis of the dynamical system for avian influenza.The proposed model considers a nonlinear dynamical model of birds and human.The half-saturated incidence rate is used for the transmission of avian influenza infection.Rigorous mathematical results are presented for the proposed models.The local and global dynamics of each model are presented and proven that when R0<1,then the disease-free equilibrium of each model is stable both locally and globally,and when R0>1,then the endemic equilibrium is stable both locally and globally.The numerical results obtained for the proposed model shows that influenza could be eliminated from the community if the threshold is not greater than unity. 展开更多

The main aim of this paper is to propose a kernel-based method for solving the problem of squeezing Cu–Water nanofluid flow between parallel disks.Our method is based on Gaussian Hilbert–Schmidt SVD(HS-SVD),which gives an alternate basis for the data-dependent subspace of“native”Hilbert space without ever forming kernel matrix.The well-conditioning linear system is one of the critical advantages of using the alternate basis obtained from HS-SVD.Numerical simulations are performed to illustrate the efficiency and applicability of the proposed method in the sense of accuracy.Numerical results obtained by the proposed method are assessed by comparing available results in references.The results demonstrate that the proposed method can be recommended as a good option to study the squeezing nanofluid flow in engineering problems. 展开更多
