Target tracking method of Siamese networks based on the broad learning system

Target tracking has a wide range of applications in intelligent transportation,real‐time monitoring,human‐computer interaction and other aspects.However,in the tracking process,the target is prone to deformation,occlusion,loss,scale variation,background clutter,illumination variation,etc.,which bring great challenges to realize accurate and real‐time tracking.Tracking based on Siamese networks promotes the application of deep learning in the field of target tracking,ensuring both accuracy and real‐time performance.However,due to its offline training,it is difficult to deal with the fast motion,serious occlusion,loss and deformation of the target during tracking.Therefore,it is very helpful to improve the performance of the Siamese networks by learning new features of the target quickly and updating the target position in time online.The broad learning system(BLS)has a simple network structure,high learning efficiency,and strong feature learning ability.Aiming at the problems of Siamese networks and the characteristics of BLS,a target tracking method based on BLS is proposed.The method combines offline training with fast online learning of new features,which not only adopts the powerful feature representation ability of deep learning,but also skillfully uses the BLS for re‐learning and re‐detection.The broad re‐learning information is used for re‐detection when the target tracking appears serious occlusion and so on,so as to change the selection of the Siamese networks search area,solve the problem that the search range cannot meet the fast motion of the target,and improve the adaptability.Experimental results show that the proposed method achieves good results on three challenging datasets and improves the performance of the basic algorithm in difficult scenarios. 展开更多

However, utilizing MPTCP for data delivery may generally result in higher energy consumption, while the battery power of a mobile phone is limited. Thus, how to optimize the energy usage becomes very crucial and urgent. In this paper, we propose MPTCP.QE, a novel quality of experience(Qo E).driven energy.aware multipath content delivery approach for MPTCP.based mobile phones. The main idea of MPTCP.QE is described as follows: it first provides an application rate.aware energy.efficient subflow management strategy to tradeoff throughput performance and energy consumption for mobile phones; then uses an available bandwidth.aware congestion window fast recovery strategy to make a sender avoid unnecessary slow.start and utilize wireless resource quickly; and further introduces a novel receiver.driven energy.efficient SACK strategy to help a receiver possible to detect SACK loss timely and trigger loss recovery in a more energy.efficient way. The problem of global robust asymptotical stability for a class of Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy neural networks(TSFNN) with discontinuous activation functions and time delays is investigated by using Lyapunov stability theory.Based on linear matrix inequalities(LMIs),we originally propose robust fuzzy control to guarantee the global robust asymptotical stability of TSFNNs.Compared with the existing literature,this paper removes the assumptions on the neuron activations such as Lipschitz conditions,bounded,monotonic increasing property or the right-limit value is bigger than the left one at the discontinuous point.Thus,the results are more general and wider.Finally,two numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed stability results. 展开更多

When conducting company performance evaluations,the traditional method cannot reflect the distribution characteristics of the company’s operating conditions in the entire securities market.Gephi is an efficient tool for data analysis and visualization in the era of big data.It can convert the evaluation results of all listed companies into nodes and edges,and directly display them in the form of graphs,thus making up for the defects of traditional methods.This paper will take all the listed companies in the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchange as the analysis object.First uses tushare and web crawlers to collect the financial statement data of these companies.And then,uses the Economic Value Added model to calculate the EVA of each listed company and build graph data.Next,import the graph data into gephi to generate the distribution graph of all listed companies’performance,and summarize the distribution characteristics of business performance.Finally,select a listed company that you want to analyze in detail,using the traditional DuPont analysis method to conduct micro level visualization analysis of the business performance to find the main factors affecting the company’s operating performance.Incorporating gephi into traditional performance analysis methods will make the results of traditional analytical methods more effective and complete. 展开更多

NAC(NAM,ATAF1/2,and CUC2)transcription factors play important roles in fruit ripening and quality.The watermelon genome encodes 80 NAC genes,and 21 of these NAC genes are highly expressed in both the flesh and vascular tissues.Among these genes,CINAC68 expression was signi fi cantly higher in flesh than in rind.However,the intrinsic regulatory mechanism of CINAC68 in fruit ripening and quality is still unknown.In this study,we found that ClNAC68 is a transcriptional repressor and that the repression domain is located in the C-terminus.Knockout of CINAC68 by the CRISPR-Cas9 system decreased the soluble solid content and sucrose accumulation in mutant flesh.Development was delayed,germination was inhibited,and the IAA content was signi ficantly decreased in mutant seeds.Transcriptome analysis showed that the invertase gene CUNV was the only gene involved in sucrose metabolism that was upregulated in mutant flesh,and expression of the indole-3-acetic acid-amido synthetase gene CIGH3.6 in the IAA signaling pathway was also induced in mutant seeds.EMSA and dual-luciferase assays showed that CINAC68 directly bound to the promoters of CUNV and CIGH3.6 to repress their expression.These results indicated that CINAC68 positively regulated sugar and IAA accumulation by repressing CUNV and CIGH3.6.Our findings provide new insights into the regulatory mechanisms by which NAC transcription factors affect fruit quality and seed development. 展开更多

Tradable green certificate(TGC)scheme promotes the development of renewable energy industry which currently has a dual effect on economy and environment.TGC market efficiency is reflected in stimulating renewable energy investment,but may be reduced by the herding behavior of market players.This paper proposes and simulates an artificial TGC market model which contains heterogeneous agents,communication structure,and regulatory rules to explore the characteristics of herding behavior and its effects on market efficiency.The results show that the evolution of herding behavior reduces information asymmetry and improves market efficiency,especially when the borrowing is allowed.In addition,the fundamental strategy is diffused by herding evolution,but TGC market efficiency may be remarkably reduced by herding with borrowing mechanism.Moreover,the herding behavior may evolve to an equilibrium where the revenue of market players is comparable,thus the fairness in TGC market is improved. 展开更多

Genetic encoding of photocaged noncanonical amino acids provides a powerful tool to study protein functions through optical control but is not yet available for acidic amino acids.Herein,we report the first site-specific genetic encoding of a photocaged glutamate,4-methoxy-7-nitroindolinyl caged glutamate(MNI-Glu),into recombinant proteins via an expanded genetic code through evolved EcLeuRS/tRNA pair.Using two enzymes as examples,we demonstrate that substituting the conserved-active-site glutamate of a secreted alkaline phosphatase and a protease HRV3C to MNI-Glu allows photoregulatory control of their enzymatic activities.Our approach is an important addition to the photocaged noncanonical amino-acid toolbox and provides a general method to photocontrol protein activity based on caging a critical glutamate. 展开更多

Maize kernel mutant dek42 has small defective kernels and ... RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) play an important role in post-transcriptional gene regulation. However, the functions of RBPs in plants remain poorly understood. Maize kernel mutant dek42 has small defective kernels and lethal seedlings. Dek42 was cloned by Mutator tag isolation and further confirmed by an independent mutant allele and clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR)-CRISPR-associated protein 9 materials. Dek42 encodes an RRM_RBM48 type RNA-binding protein that localizes to the nucleus. Dek42 is constitutively expressed in various maize tissues. The dek42 mutation caused a significant reduction in the accumulation of DEK42 protein in mutant kernels. RNA-seq analysis showed that the dek42 mutation significantly disturbed the expression of thousands of genes during maize kernel development. Sequence analysis also showed that the dek42 mutation significantly changed alternative splicing in expressed genes, which were especially enriched for the U12-type intron-retained type. Yeast two-hybrid screening identified SF3a1 as a DEK42-interacting protein. DEK42 also interacts with the spliceosome component U1-70K. These results suggested that DEK42 participates in the regulation of pre-messenger RNA splicing through its interaction with other spliceosome components. This study showed the function of a newly identified RBP and provided insights into alternative splicing regulation during maize kernel development. 展开更多

Coix lacryma-jobi,a plant species closely related to Zea and Sorghum,is an important food and medicinal crop in Asia.However,no reference genome of this species has been reported,and its exact phylogeny within the Andropogoneae remains unresolved.Here,we generated a high-quality genome assembly of coix comprising~1.73 Gb with 44485 predicted protein-coding genes.We found coix to be a typical diploid plant with an overall 1-to-1 syntenic relationship with the Sorghum genome,despite its drastic genome expansion(~2.3-fold)due mainly to the activity of transposable elements.Phylogenetic analysis revealed that coix diverged with sorghum~10.41 million years ago,which was~1.49 million years later than the divergence between sorghum and maize.Resequencing of 27 additional coix accessions revealed that they could be unambiguously separated into wild relatives and cultivars,and suggested that coix experienced a strong genetic bottleneck,resulting in the loss of about half of the genetic diversity during domestication,even though many traits have remained undomesticated.Our data not only provide novel comparative genomic and evolutionary insights into the Andropogoneae lineage,but also an important resource that will greatly benefit molecular breeding of this important crop. 展开更多

The hot rolled coil can be considered as a periodically laminated material composed of steel layers and interface layers in radial direction. A new formula for the radial effective thermal conductivity has been proposed, which is based on surface characteristic, strip thickness and compressive stress of the rolled coil. Furthermore, it has been used to develop a heat transfer mathematical model for steel coils in the HPH furnace. The calculated annealing curves using this mathematical model are in good agreement with the experimental data. 展开更多

Liver cancer presents divergent clinical behaviors.There remain opportunities for molecular markers to improve liver cancer diagnosis and prognosis,especially since tRNA-derived small RNAs(tsRNA)have rarely been studied.In this study,a random forests(RF)diagnostic model was built based upon tsRNA profiling of paired tumor and adjacent normal samples and validated by independent validation(IV).A LASSO model was used to developed a seven-tsRNA-based risk score signature for liver cancer prognosis.Model performance was evaluated by a receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC curve)and Precision-Recall curve(PR curve).The five-tsRNA-based RF diagnosis model had area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUROC)88%and area under the precision–recall curve(AUPR)87%in the discovery cohort and 87%and 86%in IV-AUROC and IV-AUPR,respectively.The seven-tsRNA-based prognostic model predicts the overall survival of liver cancer patients(Hazard Ratio 2.02,95%CI 1.36–3.00,P<0.001),independent of standard clinicopathological prognostic factors.Moreover,the model successfully categorizes patients into high-low risk groups.Diagnostic and prognostic modeling can be reliably utilized in the diagnosis of liver cancer and high-low risk classification of patients based upon tsRNA characterization. 展开更多

We demonstrate a simple,effective and feasible method to address the shrinkage of Poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)(PLGA)through a core-shell structure fiber strategy.The results revealed that introducing size-stable poly-caprolactone(PCL)as the core fiber significantly improved the PLGA-based fibrous scaffold’s dimensional maintenance.We further utilized fish collagen to modify the PLGA shell layer(PFC)of coaxial fibers and loaded baicalin(BA)into the PCL core layer(PCL-BA)to endow fibrous scaffold with more functional biological cues.The PFC/PCL-BA fibrous scaffold promoted the osteogenic differentiation of bone mesenchymal stem cells and stimulated the RAW264.7 cells to polarize into a pro-reparative phenotype.Importantly,the in vivo study demonstrated that the PFC/PCL-BA scaffold could regulate inflammation and osteoclast differentiation,favor neovascularization and bone formation.This work tactfully combined PLGA and PCL to establish a drug release platform based on the core-shell fibrous scaffold for vascularized bone regeneration. 展开更多

In this review, we focus on the synaptic structural plasticity, which has mainly been studied with in vivo two-photon laser scanning microscopy. The ideal Guided Bone Regeneration(GBR)membrane is required to have good biocompatibility,space maintenance ability,appropriate degradation rate,and preferably can guide the regeneration of vascularized bone tissue.In this study,Simvastatin(SIM)and calcium Phosphate(CaP)were encapsulated in a Polycaprolactone(PCL)/Chitosan(CS)core-shell structural fibrous membranes via coaxial electrospinning technology.The results showed that loaded SIM in the core of the core-shell structure fibrous membranes could sustainably release the drug for more than two months and upregulate the angiogenic marker of Bone Mesenchymal Stem Cells(BMSCs).Adding a certain amount of CaP to the shell layer provided more sites for the mineralization and synergistic with SIM to promote osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs in vitro.The intramuscular implantation experiments in rabbits suggested a normal early inflammation and enhanced vascularization induced by the SIM-loaded fibrous membranes.This study proposed an effective strategy to prepare a dual-loaded core-shell fibrous membrane for guided vascularized bone tissue regeneration. 展开更多

A new solution-processable small-molecule donor material,named DRBDT3,comprised of oligobenzo[1,2-b:4,5-b']dithiophene as the backbone and 3-ethyl-rhodanine as the end-capped group has been designed and synthesized for application in organic photovoltaic cells.The oligobenzodithiophene derivative exhibits an absorption band from 300 to 640 nm.The film of DRBDT3 shows highly long-range ordering assembly and high mobility of 1.21×10 4 cm2 V 1 s 1.The new molecule shows a deep highest-occupied molecular orbital energy level.The device based on DRBDT3 as the donor and PC71BM as the acceptor exhibits a power conversion efficiency of 4.09%with a high open-circuit voltage of 0.99 V under AM.1.5G illumination(100m W cm2). 展开更多

Biomaterial-associated infection(BAI)is a kind of serious post-operative complication in orthopaedic surgery.Antibiotic-loaded bone cement shines a light on BAI prevention for convenient manipulation and complex filling.To this aim,we designed an antibacterial bone cement based on Nano-hydroxyapatite/Polyurethane(PUHA)loading with antibiotic Enoxacin(EN).The distinct shear-thinning behavior of the prepolymers was observed,indicating a good injectability.The PUHA bone cement possessed a suitable curing speed,and the addition of EN might slightly expedite the curing process and enhance the mechanical properties.The EN release profile indicated that the EN-loaded bone cement could reach the minimum inhibitory concentration in 2 h,and sustainedly released EN for almost 8 days,exhibiting an antibacterial delivery potential.Antibacterial test further confirmed the antibacterial ability of EN-loaded bone cement is in a dose-dependent manner.However,the osteogenic performance of drug-loaded bone cement with high dosage is not as good as antibacterial activity.When the EN concentration of antibacterial cement was lower than 32μg·mL^(-1),the proliferation and osteogenic differentiation of rat mesenchymal stem cells could be significantly promoted.Overall,this study verified the potential of the EN-loaded PUHA bone cement in anti-infection and osteogenesis for bone repairing. 展开更多
