Climate warming is likely to weaken the performance of two-phase closed thermosyphon on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

Over the years,numerous geotechnical approaches have been implemented to mitigate the adverse effects of climate warming on various infrastructures in the permafrost region of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau(QTP),such as the Qinghai-Tibet Highway and Railway,and achieved the expected engineering outcomes.However,little attention has been given to whether the performance of these geotechnical approaches has changed during the ongoing process of climate warming.To investigate the performance variation of one of these geotechnical approaches,which is two-phase closed thermosyphon(TPCT),during sustained climate warming,we conducted a statistical analysis of soil temperature monitoring data in 2003-2020 from eight regular embankments and six TPCT embankments in our permafrost monitoring network.The results indicate that TPCT undeniably has a cooling effect on the permafrost beneath embankments,even rapidly eliminated previously formed taliks beneath embankment.However,further analysis reveals that the performance of TPCT has been weakening during sustained climate warming,which has confirmed by the re-forming of the taliks beneath embankment where they had been previously eliminated.Based on the current understanding,we attributed the weakening of thermosyphon performance to a significant reduction in the air temperature freezing index caused by ongoing climate warming.Through this study,we aimed to draw attention to the evolving performance of geotechnical approaches in permafrost regions amid climate warming,prompting necessary engineering innovations to address this situation and ensure the sustainable development of the permafrost region on the QTP. 展开更多

腔镜治疗小于8mm输尿管结石自行排出后的肾积水的效果 被引量:4

目的探讨对于小于8 mm的输尿管结石自行排出后的肾积水的腔镜治疗的意义。方法回顾性分析该院18例小于8 mm的输尿管结石自行排出患者,所有患者排出结石后1周复查输尿管CT提示仍然存在肾积水及肾周渗出样改变,血白细胞及降钙素原高于正常... 目的探讨对于小于8 mm的输尿管结石自行排出后的肾积水的腔镜治疗的意义。方法回顾性分析该院18例小于8 mm的输尿管结石自行排出患者,所有患者排出结石后1周复查输尿管CT提示仍然存在肾积水及肾周渗出样改变,血白细胞及降钙素原高于正常值,并且有临床腰疼症状,所有病例予以行输尿管检查并留置输尿管支架管。结果 18例结石自行排出患者中,输尿管上段结石7例,输尿管下段结石11例;输尿管结石大小4~8 mm;所有患者入院后1周内结石均自行排出,患者排出结石1周后因肾积水均进行了输尿管镜检查并留置输尿管支架管。其中,12例术中发现输尿管狭窄,输尿管狭窄病例予以留置2枚输尿管支架管;6例术中发现输尿管内多发息肉包裹管腔,予以留置1枚输尿管支架管。术后第5天所有病例再次复查输尿管CT均提示肾积水缓解及肾周渗出完全吸收,并且血白细胞及降钙素原恢复正常,临床腰疼症状全部缓解。18例患者均顺利完成手术,术后5~7 d拔除尿管,无腰部不适及发热症状,顺利恢复出院。结论对于小于8 mm的输尿管结石自行排出后仍然存在肾积水,应警惕输尿管梗阻的存在,行输尿管镜检查留置输尿管支架管有利于结石排出后输尿管黏膜损伤或者狭窄的恢复,减少了患者痛苦,缩短住院时间,可以成为临床上的有效治疗手段。 展开更多

A robust indium-organic framework with open tubular channels for efficient separation of acetylene

Considering the tremendous applications and purification requirement of acetylene(C_(2)H_(2)),seeking appropriate adsorbents with high capacity and selectivity is a vital task and remains an enduring challenge.Herein,we designed and synthesized a robust three-dimensional(3D)indium-organic framework([(Me)_(2)NH_(2)][In(L6)_(0.5)(IPA)_(0.5)]·DMA·2H_(2)O(In-L6-IPA,DMA=dimethylammonium,IPA=isopropyl alcohol))featuring two types of one-dimensional(1D)tubular channels.The activated In-L6-IPA displayed high loading for C_(2)H_(2)(104.4 cm^(3)·g^(-1),the second highest value among all reported indium-based metal-organic frameworks(MOFs))and simultaneously selective adsorption for C_(2)H_(2) over CO_(2),C_(2)H_(6),and ethylene(C_(2)H_(4))at 298 K under 100 kPa.Molecular modelling revealed that the porous wall of In-L6-IPA provides more and stronger multiple interactions for C_(2)H_(2) than CO_(2),C_(2)H_(6),and C_(2)H_(4) containing C–H···π,C–H···O,and O···πinteractions.Breakthrough experiments validated the actual separation ability for various ratios of binary C_(2)H_(2)/C_(2)H_(4) and C_(2)H_(2)/CO_(2) mixtures as well as equimolar ternary C_(2)H_(2)/C_(2)H_(4)/CO_(2) and C_(2)H_(2)/C_(2)H_(4)/C_(2)H_(6) mixtures with excellent reusability. 展开更多

La0.8Pr0.2MgNi3.6Co0.4 alloys were prepared by induction melting,annealing and melt spinning techniques.The influences of annealing treatment and melt spinning on phase structure and hydrogen storage properties were systematically investigated.The results of X-ray diffraction determine that the as-cast and as-spun La0.8Pr0.2MgNi3.6Co0.4 alloys consist of LaMgNi4 and LaNi5 phases,while only LaMgNi4 phase is present in the as-annealed alloy.The scanning electron microscope images illustrate that the grain of the alloy is significantly refined by melt spin ning tech no logy.The gaseous hydrogen storage kinetic and thermodynamic properties were measured by using a Sievert's apparatus at different temperatures.The maximum hydrogen storage capacity of the as-cast,as?spun and as-annealed La0.8Pr0.2MgNi3.6Co0.4 alloy is 1.699,1.637 and 1.535 wt.% at 373 K and 3 MPa,respectively.The annealed alloy has flatter and wider pressure plateaus compared with the as-cast and as-spun alloys,which correspond to the hydrogen absorption and desorption process of LaMgNi4 and corresponding hydride.Furthermore,the enthalpy and entropy changes of LaMgNi4 during hydrogenation at different temperatures were calculated using Van't Hoff methods. 展开更多

V48Fe12Ti15Cr25 alloy was prepared using vacuum arc melting and was subsequently annealed for 10 h at 1273 K.The effects of annealing on the hydrogen storage properties and microstructure of the V48Fe12Ti15Cr25 alloys were investigated.The results indicated that the alloy consisted of main body-centered cubic,Ti-rich,and TiFe phases.After annealing,the kinetic properties of the alloy were improved but its hydrogen storage capacity was slightly reduced.The kinetic mechanisms of the hydrogen absorption and desorption of the alloys were studied.The dehydrogenation enthalpy of the alloy was decreased by 2.57 kJ/mol after annealing.Differential scanning calorimetry indicated that the hydride decomposition temperature of the annealed alloy was decreased.The hydrogen desorption activation energies of the as-cast and annealed alloys were calculated to be 79.41 and 71.25 kJ/mol,respectively.The results illustrated that annealing was a beneficial method of improving the kinetic and thermodynamic properties of the hydrogen absorption/desorption of the alloy. 展开更多
