The soil in Guangxi has been severely acidified,restricting sustainable development of agriculture.In this paper,based on the screening of organic fertilizer additives,a method for the production of acidification-resistant organic fertilizer specific for acid red soil improvement was proposed,and the developed acidification-resistant organic fertilizer was used in sugarcane experiment.The results showed that in the treatment that the specific acidification-resistant organic fertilizer was applied,the yield of sugarcane significantly increased,the p H value of soil effectively increased,the physical and chemical properties of soil improved,and the contents of microorganisms and available nutrients in soil increased. 展开更多

This study was to find out the suitable application amount of plant-derived humic acid organic fertilizer for selenium-rich rice production in northern Guilin area by applying the fertilizer at different amounts.The results showed that plant-derived humic acid organic fertilizer could effectively activate selenium in selenium-rich soil,and then promote the uptake of selenium by rice.With costs,selenium enrichment and rice yield as the main evaluation indicators,A4 was chosen as the best treatment,that is,the application of 4 500 kg/hm^2 of plant-derived humic acid organic fertilizer as base fertilizer could achieve the best benefit. 展开更多

Ultrasound-assisted extraction method was applied to extract the anthocyanins from selenium-enriched purple potato,and the optimum extraction conditions for anthocyanins in selenium-enriched purple potato were obtained by response surface methodology:the phosphoric acid concentration of 1.0%,the solid-liquid ratio at 5,and the extraction time of 19 min.Under these conditions,the yield of anthocyanins in selenium-enriched purple potato reached(0.409±0.010)mg/g(RSD=2.51%,n=3).The extraction of anthocyanins from selenium-rich fresh purple potato with dilute phosphoric acid has the advantages of less acid consumption and good extraction effect. 展开更多

[Objectives]This study was conducted to explore the effects of using fermented organic fertilizers such as cow manure on the activity of selenium in the soil.[Methods]The project team applied the organic fertilizer prepared by fermenting cow manure and other raw materials to activate selenium in the soil at two dragon fruit orchard bases in Shilong Town,Guiping City and Dingdang Town,Long an County,and carried out many years of experiments.[Results]The contents of available selenium in the two experimental orchards in Shilong Town and Dingdang Town increased by 10%and 5%,respectively,and the selenium contents in dragon fruit increased by 228.6%and 200.0%,respectively.[Conclusions]The application of fermented organic fertilizers such as cow manure can increase available selenium content in the soil,thereby increasing the selenium content of dragon fruit. 展开更多

[Objectives]This study was conducted to explore the treatment methods of amino acid selenium fertilizer suitable for increasing the selenium content of mangoes and improving the quality of mangoes,so as to provide a theoretical basis for the production of selenium-enriched mangoes.[Methods]With Tainong mango as a test material,the amino acid selenium foliar fertilizer was applied by eight treatment methods to investigate the changes of selenium,soluble solid,vitamin C,and titratable acid contents in mango flesh and peel.[Results]Spraying amino acid selenium foliar fertilizer increased the selenium content of mango flesh.The selenium contents of the treatment groups T2,T3,T4 and T5 reached the selenium-enriched standard,and the T2 treatment group had the highest selenium content(0.020 mg/kg).The selenium contents in the peel of all treatment groups were greater than the corresponding selenium content in the flesh.Except for T1,the vitamin C contents of other treatment groups sprayed with amino acid selenium fertilizer increased compared with the control,and that of the T2 treatment group increased significantly(P<0.05).Compared with the control,the soluble solids of the treatment groups sprayed with amino acid selenium fertilizer once also increased.The treatment method of spraying amino acid selenium fertilizer with a dosage of 12000 ml/hm2 once(T2)achieved the best effect of increasing the selenium content and improving the quality of mangoes.[Conclusions]This study provides a scientific basis for increasing the selenium content of mangoes and improving the current situation of insufficient selenium intake. 展开更多

To provide reference for selenium resource exploitation of soil,many selenium-tolerant strains were isolated from selenium-rich soil in Guangxi. The dilution spread plate method and selenium-added culture method were used to screen the selenium-tolerant strains from the soils which were sampled from the main Selenium-rich areas such as Yongfu,Bama,Yulin Hanshan,Guiping and Tengxian. The results showed that 8 strains with high selenium tolerance were obtained,which could tolerate the selenium concentration above 10 000 μg/m L in solid medium. Among the 8 strains,YLB1-33 showed the highest selenium tolerance,and it could still grow weakly in the solid medium with selenium concentration of 29 000 μg/m L. The sequencing of 16 S rD NA and phylogenetic analysis showed that YLB1-6 was identified as Bacillus cereus,BMB2-1 and TXB1-8 were identified as Bacillus pumilus,GPB2-5 was identified as Bacillus thuringiensis,YLB1-26 and YLB1-33 were identified as Bacillus licheniformis,and YLB1-2 and YFB1-8 were identified as Serratia marcescens. The finding of selenium-tolerance strains had potential application value on promoting the utilization of selenium soil resources and the development of selenium-rich agricultural products in Guangxi. 展开更多

[Objectives] The aims were to optimize the extraction process of selenoproteins from selenium-enriched rice in Guangxi and provide references for the intensive processing and comprehensive utilization of selenium protein resources. [Methods]Selenium-enriched rice was used as materials to extract selenoproteins by phosphate buffer extraction method and to optimize the extraction process of selenoproteins by using the orthogonal experiment. Proteins and selenium content was measured by Coomassie Brilliant Blue G-250 reagent and AFS( atomic fluorescence spectrometry) respectively. [Results] The most significant factor affecting extraction of rice Selenoproteins was extraction NaO H concentration,followed by the ratio of solid-liquid,temperature and then extraction time. The optimum extraction conditions of selenoproteins from rice were extraction temperature of 50 ℃,NaO H concentration of 0. 14 mol/L,extraction time of 5 h,and solid-liquid ratio of 1∶ 30. [Conclusions]The alkali extraction process optimized by orthogonal test could effectively improve the extraction rate of selenoproteins,and the optimized process parameters could be popularized and applied in practical production. 展开更多

By summarizing the researches on selenium at home and abroad,we analyze the classification of soil selenium form,the transformation among different selenium forms and the improving factors of selenium effectiveness. We understand the relationship between chemical form and extraction form of selenium,analyze the driving factors of conversion among different forms,and discuss the ways to improve selenium effectiveness of soil in high selenium-rich area. [Objectives]This study was conducted to investigate the effects of raising chickens under Moringa oleifera forests on soil nutrient changes and selenium absorption by M.oleifera.[Methods]The nutrient contents of the soil and the selenium contents of different parts of M.oleifera were determined and analyzed.[Results]Raising chickens under the investigated M.oleifera forest improved the soil.Compared with the control,the soil organic matter,hydrolyzable nitrogen,available phosphorus,and available potassium of the plots for underforest chicken raising were significantly improved;the changes were the most significant within the range of 2 m from the chicken houses,respectively,and the values were 1.39,1.38,1.52 and 1.31 times of the control,respectively;soil bulk density decreased,total porosity increased,soil structure and permeability improved,and soil pH values at 2 and 5 m away from the chicken houses were significantly higher than the control by 0.34 and 0.28 unit,respectively;and raising chickens under the forest promoted the absorption and utilization of selenium in M.oleifera,and the selenium contents in stems and leaves of M.oleifera were 1.64 times and 1.51 times of the control,respectively.[Conclusions]This study provides a theoretical basis for the high-value selenium-enriching compound economic model of raising chickens under M.oleifera forests. 展开更多
