Metabolic reprogramming allows tumor cells to prefer aerobic glycolysis as the main energy source,resulting in the massive accumulation of lactate in the tumor microenvironment(TME).It is found that lactate is no longer a waste product produced by glycolysis,but plays an important role in cancer progression.The modulation of lactate in the TME has become a promising target for cancer therapy.Although many small molecular inhibitors modulating the production or transport of lactate have appeared at present,their safety and efficacy have limited their further clinical application due to their non-specific targets and biodistribution.Studies have shown that nanomedicine has unique advantages,improving drug delivery efficiency and treatment efficacy while reducing damage to normal tissues,which greatly promotes the development of the research of nanosystems based on lactate modulation.In this review,we summarize the source and metabolism of lactate,the effect of lactate on the TME and recent advances in nanosystem-mediated strategies of lactate modulation for enhanced cancer therapy,hoping to provide ideas and directions for future research in related fields. 展开更多

Exosomes are extracellular vesicles which carry specific molecular information from donor cells and act as an intercellular communication vehicle,which have emerged as a novel cell-free strategy for the treatment of many diseases including inflammatory disease.Recently,rising studies have developed exosome-based strategies for novel inflammation therapy due to their biocompatibility and bioactivity.Researchers not only use native exosomes as therapeutic agents for inflammation,but also strive to make up for the natural defects of exosomes through engineering methods to improve and update the property of exosomes for enhanced therapeutic effects.The engineered exosomes can improve cargo-loading efficiency,targeting ability,stability,etc.,to achieve combined and diverse treatment strategies in inflammation diseases.Herein,a comprehensive overview of the recent advances in application studies of native and engineered exosomes as well as the engineered methods is provided.Meanwhile,potential application prospects,possible challenges,the development of clinical researches of exosome treatment strategy are concluded from plentiful examples,which may be able to provide guidance and suggestions for the future research and application of exosomes. 展开更多

Immunotherapy techniques,such as immune checkpoint inhibitors,chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)T cell therapies and cancer vaccines,have been burgeoning with great success,particularly for specific cancer types.However,side effects with fatal risks,dysfunction in tumor microenvironment and low immune response rates remain the bottlenecks in immunotherapy.Nano metal-organic frameworks(nMOFs),with an accurate structure and a narrow size distribution,are emerging as a solution to these problems.In addition to their function of temporospatial delivery,a large library of their compositions,together with flexibility in chemical interaction and inherent immune efficacy,offers opportunities for various designs of nMOFs for immunotherapy.In this review,we overview state-of-the-art research on nMOFs-based immunotherapies as well as their combination with other therapies.We demonstrate that nMOFs are predominantly customized for vaccine delivery or tumor-microenvironment modulation.Finally,a prospect of nMOFs in cancer immunotherapy will be discussed. 展开更多

A star identification algorithm for rolling shutter exposure based on Hough transform

The star identification algorithm usually identifies stars by angular distance matching.However,under high dynamic conditions,the rolling shutter effect distorts the angular distances between the measured and true star positions,leading to plethoric false matches and requiring complex and time-consuming verification for star identification.Low identification rate hinders the application of low-noise and cost-effective rolling shutter image sensors.In this work,we first study a rolling shutter distortion model of angular distances between stars,and then propose a novel three-stage star identification algorithm to identify distorted star images captured by the rolling shutter star sensor.The first stage uses a modified grid algorithm with adaptive error tolerance and an expanded pattern database to efficiently eliminate spurious matches.The second stage performs angular velocity estimation based on Hough transform to verify the matches that follow the same distortion pattern.The third stage applies a rolling shutter error correction method for further verification.Both the simulation and night sky image test demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of our algorithm under high dynamic conditions.The accuracy of angular velocity estimation method by Hough transform is evaluated and the root mean square error is below 0.5(°)/s.Our algorithm achieves a 95.7% identification rate at an angular velocity of 10(°)/s,which is much higher than traditional algorithms. 展开更多
