T1-weighted MRI was performed using a 3T scanner before and after the injection of Gd-DOTA or Gadofluorine P(6 diabetic rats, 5 controls). The normalized signal intensity(SI) and the enhancement ratio(ER) of the pancreas were measured at each time point, and the values were compared between the normal and diabetic rats using the Mann-Whitney test. In addition,the values were correlated with the mean islet number.Optimal cut-off values were calculated using a positive test based on receiver operating characteristics.Intrapancreatic Gd concentration after the injection of each contrast media was measured using laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry in a separate set of rats(4 diabetic rats, 4 controls for Gadofluorine P; 2, 2 for Gd-DOTA).RESULTS: The normalized SI and ER of the pancreas using Gd-DOTA were not significantly different between diabetic rats and controls. With Gadofluorine P, the values were significantly higher in the diabetic rats than in the control rats 30 min after injection(P < 0.05). The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve that differentiated diabetic rats from the control group was greater for Gadofluorine P than for Gd-DOTA(0.967 vs 0.667, P = 0.085). An increase in normalized SI 30 min after Gadofluorine P was correlated with a decrease in the mean number of islets(r 2 = 0.510, P = 0.014). Intra-pancreatic Gd was higher in rats with Gadofluorine P injection than Gd-DOTA injection(Gadofluorine P vs Gd-DOTA, 7.37 vs 0.00, P < 0.01). A significant difference in the concentration of intrapancreatic Gd was observed between the control and diabetic animals that were sacrificed 30 min after Gadofluorine P injection(control vs diabetic, 3.25 ng/g vs 10.55 ng/g, P < 0.05)CONCLUSION: In this STZ-induced diabetes rat model,Gadofluorine P-enhanced MRI of the pancreas showed high accuracy in the diagnosis of diabetes.展开更多
Today’s electronic devices have required higher performance properties for 5G and artificial intelligence(AI).High-performance system on chip(SOC),graphic processing unit(GPU),and central processing unit(CPU)requires...Today’s electronic devices have required higher performance properties for 5G and artificial intelligence(AI).High-performance system on chip(SOC),graphic processing unit(GPU),and central processing unit(CPU)requires advanced packages to meet demands for performance,size,and high-speed transmission.To respond to these demands,integration approaches such as 3D IC chip stacking,package on package(PoP),2.5D interposer integration,system-in-package(SiP),and fan-out packaging technologies have emerged[6,8,11,12].Therefore,the package substrate for high-performance device will require low transmission loss and the small package warpage.Low loss materials have limitation of seed layer formation with electroless Cu plating.Also,heat treatment has major impact on substrate warpage in order for growth of plated Cu metal and curing for epoxy mold compound(EMC)process.In this paper,we believe it is possible to create a seed layer on the low-loss material by combining electroless Cu plating and flash lamp annealing(FLA)method instead of sputtering process.In terms of warpage control and metal growth,the flash lamp treatment,not the conventional convection or hot plate type heat treatment,could improve electro-migration between metal line and line through improving large number of(111)slip directions.In addition,flash lamp not only provides alternative to conventional heat treatment process but also significantly reduces substrate warpage.Through result of this study,by using FLA method for advanced package,it is possible to provide solutions in improving adhesion strength between dielectric materials and deposited metal film,and to reduce the warpage of the substrate.展开更多
This study aims to create a basis for sustainable conservation by identifying the heritage value of 166 Ikseon-dong.Based on old land registers and cadastral maps of the 1920s and 1930s,it interpreted the construction...This study aims to create a basis for sustainable conservation by identifying the heritage value of 166 Ikseon-dong.Based on old land registers and cadastral maps of the 1920s and 1930s,it interpreted the construction procedure,social background,and urban architectural characteristics of the road and plot subdivision of the modern Hanok district.Ikseon-dong Hanok produced four types of ground plans based on the grid-street system.This study argues that these innovative experiments have already been attempted through Bak Young-hyo’s proposals in his Geonbaekseo and the architectural activities of Jeong Segwon,and that the idea of applying various housing types,layouts,and grid-street system planning was embodied through the development of the Hanok complex in Ikseon-dong.Further,this attempt greatly influenced the design of other Hanok complexes built in colonial Gyeongseong after 1936,taking the Ikseon-dong Hanok as a role model.The radiation of new perspectives will be a groundwork for the future sustainable conservation of heritage places.展开更多
