The Three Gorges Project(TGP)has changed the flow-sediment process in the middle Yangtze River.For navigation purposes,there is an urgent need to study the changes of the river regime over a long-term period and the s...The Three Gorges Project(TGP)has changed the flow-sediment process in the middle Yangtze River.For navigation purposes,there is an urgent need to study the changes of the river regime over a long-term period and the shoal-channel evolution over different seasons since the completion of the TGP.Based on analysis of the measured data and the results of a two-dimensional mathematical model,the changes of the river regime and river bed evolution in the Yaojian reach downstream of the TGP were studied.Results show that a high sediment transport flux helps to keep the main flow in the North Branch,while a low sediment transport flux helps to keep the main flow in the South Branch.Thus,the main branch will not change in the near future because of the low sediment transport load.In this study,the flow-sediment process adjusted by the TGP was restored to the conditions before the TGP,and the river bed evolution under the adjusted and non-adjusted flow-sediment conditions was calculated.After the completion of the TGP,the reservoir storage accelerated the flood recession process and decreased the erosion by 11.9%under the flow-sediment conditions in 2010,and the deposition in the flood season decreased by 56.4%.展开更多

This study aimed t...BACKGROUND: Rapid and complete reperfusion has been widely adopted in the treatment of patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI), but this process sometimes can cause severe reperfusion injury. This study aimed to investigate different patterns of post-conditioning in acute myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury, and to detect the role of mitogen activated protein kinase(MAPK) during the injury.METHODS: Rats were randomly divided into five groups: sham group, reperfusion injury(R/I) group, gradually decreased reperfusion group(GDR group, 30/10-25/15-15/25-10/30 seconds of reperfusion/ischemia), equal reperfusion group(ER group, 20/20 seconds reperfusion/ischemia, 4 cycles), and gradually increased reperfusion group(GIR group, 10/30-15/25-25/15-30/10 seconds of reperfusion/ischemia). Acute myocardial infarction and ischemic post-conditioning models were established in the rats. Six hours after reperfusion, 3 rats from each group were sacrificed and myocardial tissues were taken to measure the expressions of phosphorylation of extracellular signalregulated protein kinase(P-ERK), phosphorylated c-Jun N-terminal kinase(P-JNK), mitogen-activated protein kinase p38(p38 MAPK), tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), caspases-8 in the myocardial tissue, and cytochrome c in the cytosol using Western blot. Hemodynamics was measured at 24 hours after reperfusion, the blood was drawn for the determination of cardiac enzymes, and the heart tissue was collected for the measurement of apoptosis using TUNEL. One-way analysis of variance and the Q test were employed to determine differences in individual variables between the 5 groups.RESULTS: Three post-conditioning patterns were found to provide cardioprotection(P<0.05) compared with R/I without postconditioning. GIR provided the best cardioprotection effect, followed by ER and then GDR. Apoptotic index and serum marker levels were reduced more signifi cantly in GIR than in ER(P<0.05). The enhanced cardioprotection provided by GIR was accompanied with significantly increased levels of P-ERK 1/2(1.82±0.22 vs. 1.54±0.32, P<0.05), and lower levels of p-JNK, p38 MAPK, TNF-α, caspase-8, caspase-9 and cytochrome in the cytoplasm(P<0.05), compared with ER. The infarct size was smaller in the GIR group than in the ER group, but this difference was not significant(16.30%±5.22% vs. 20.57%±6.32%, P<0.05). All the measured variables were improved more signifi cantly in the GIR group than in the GDR group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION: Gradually increased reperfusion in post-conditioning could attenuate reperfusion injury more significantly than routine method, thereby the MAPK pathway plays an important role in this process.展开更多

Backgroud:Clinical studies on acupuncture treatment of hyperplasia of mammary gland(HMG)have proved its effectiveness,but most studies have paid little attention to acupoints prescription and acupoint compatibility.Th...Backgroud:Clinical studies on acupuncture treatment of hyperplasia of mammary gland(HMG)have proved its effectiveness,but most studies have paid little attention to acupoints prescription and acupoint compatibility.The clinical prescription is not identical,the curative effect also has the difference.Therefore,through data mining and network analysis,this study explored the core acupoints and the compatibility law of acupoints in acupuncture treatment of HMG.Methods:To search and select qualified literature according to inclusion and exclusion criteria for relevant clinical research literature on acupuncture treatment of HMG in CNKI,VIP database,WanFang database and PubMed,etc.Then extract relevant information and establish a database.Using the method of statistical and complex network analysis,this paper studies the core acupoints and the law of acupoint compatibility.Results:A total of 104 Chinese literatures and 0 English literatures were included and 106 acupuncture prescriptions were extracted.The core acupoints in the treatment of HMG are Danzhong(CV 17),Wuyi(ST 15),Zusanli(ST 36),Jianjing(GB 21).Danzhong(CV 17)and Zusanli(ST 36),Danzhong(CV 17)and Wuyi(ST 15),Jianjing(GB 21)and Tianzong(SI 11),Jianjing(GB 21)and Wuyi(ST 15)have the highest correlation degree.The method of acupoint matching mainly consists of local-remote acupoints,upper-lower acupoints and front-rear acupoints.Conclusion:The results of a network analysis substantially accord with the general rules of acupuncture theories in traditional Chinese medicine,able to reflect the points-selection principles and features in acupuncture treatment of HMG and provide evidence for the acupoints selection in the treatment of HMG in acupuncture clinic.展开更多

Image bitmaps,i.e.,data containing pixels and visual perception,have been widely used in emerging applica-tions for pixel operations while consuming lots of memory space and energy.Compared with legacy DRAM(dynamic ra...Image bitmaps,i.e.,data containing pixels and visual perception,have been widely used in emerging applica-tions for pixel operations while consuming lots of memory space and energy.Compared with legacy DRAM(dynamic ran-dom access memory),non-volatile memories(NVMs)are suitable for bitmap storage due to the salient features of high density and intrinsic durability.However,writing NVMs suffers from higher energy consumption and latency compared with read accesses.Existing precise or approximate compression schemes in NVM controllers show limited performance for bitmaps due to the irregular data patterns and variance in bitmaps.We observe the pixel-level similarity when writing bitmaps due to the analogous contents in adjacent pixels.By exploiting the pixel-level similarity,we propose SimCom,an approximate similarity-aware compression scheme in the NVM module controller,to efficiently compress data for each write access on-the-fly.The idea behind SimCom is to compress continuous similar words into the pairs of base words with runs.The storage costs for small runs are further mitigated by reusing the least significant bits of base words.SimCom adaptively selects an appropriate compression mode for various bitmap formats,thus achieving an efficient trade-off be-tween quality and memory performance.We implement SimCom on GEM5/zsim with NVMain and evaluate the perfor-mance with real-world image/video workloads.Our results demonstrate the efficacy and efficiency of our SimCom with an efficient quality-performance trade-off.展开更多
A heterojunction photoanode of Fe2O3 loaded on a WO3 film on a fluorine-doped tin oxide substrate(FTO-WO3/Fe2O3)was prepared via a simple hydrothermal and chemical vapor deposition(CVD)growth method.The photoanode sho...A heterojunction photoanode of Fe2O3 loaded on a WO3 film on a fluorine-doped tin oxide substrate(FTO-WO3/Fe2O3)was prepared via a simple hydrothermal and chemical vapor deposition(CVD)growth method.The photoanode showed higher photoelectrochemical(PEC)water-splitting activity than that of the pristine FTO-WO3 under simulated sunlight because of the synergistic effect of Fe2O3 and WO3.The as-synthesized material was characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The photocurrent density was estimated by linear sweep voltammetry and further confirmed using intensity-modulated photocurrent spectra.Experiments demonstrated that the coated Fe2O3 enhanced the separation and migration efficiencies of the photoinduced electrons and holes,improving the PEC water-splitting properties.The FTO-WO3/Fe2O3 photoanode showed a 1.25 times enhancement in photocurrent density compared with FTO-WO3.This result suggests that facile chemical vapor deposition growth is an effective way to fabricate heterojunctions and improve the properties of WO3 photoanodes for PEC water-splitting applications.展开更多

Pulmonary hypertension(PH)is featured by pulmonary vascular and cardiac remodeling.Rehabilitation exercise can improve patients’quality of life.We previously pinpointed a potential glutamine metabolism dysfunction in...Pulmonary hypertension(PH)is featured by pulmonary vascular and cardiac remodeling.Rehabilitation exercise can improve patients’quality of life.We previously pinpointed a potential glutamine metabolism dysfunction in PH.Hence,we aim to investigate whether rehabilitation exercise could mitigate right ventricular and pulmonary vascular remodeling and its effect on glutaminase(GLS).We collected clinical indicators of PH patients and analyzed their correlation with GLS.Rehabilitation exercise(moderate intensity swimming exercise)was performed in monocrotaline-induced PH(MCT-PH)rats.We found that plasma GLS1 level in patients was lower than healthy subjects,and it was negatively correlated with end-systolic stage eccentricity index,right atrial transverse dimension and right atrial longitudinal dimension.MCT-PH rats displayed pulmonary vascular remodeling and right ventricular hypertrophy.Compared to control rats,higher levels of GLS1 and GLS2 mRNA in lung and lower levels of these two isoforms of GLS in right ventricle(RV)were displayed in MCT-PH rats.After swimming exercise,GLS mRNA levels in the lung and RV were significantly upregulated,and the cross-sectional area of right ventricular cardiomyocytes was significantly decreased although the percentage of pulmonary arteriolar medial wall thickness was not significantly changed.Therefore,we hold the opinion that plasma GLS1 level was decreased in PH.The transcriptional levels of GLS1 and GLS2 were increased in the lung tissues in PH,but were decreased in the RV tissues.Meanwhile,the changes of GLS levels indicated the pulmonary vascular and right ventricular remodeling.Whereas moderate intensity swimming exercise might improve the right ventricular remodeling by regulating the levels of GLS.展开更多

文摘An efficient and facile method for C-H amination of quinoxalinones with heteroaromatic amines under metal-free conditions has been described.In the presence of hypervalent PIDA reagent,the desired products with various groups were obtained with moderate to high yields.

文摘An efficient method for the synthesis of functionalized chroman-4-ones induced by visible light via the radical cyclization reaction of sulfinic acids and o-(allyloxy)arylaldehydes at room temperature was described.The corresponding products were isolated with moderate to good yields.Radical mechanism was proposed fo r this trans formation.Anti-microbial activity of some desired compounds we re screened.

文摘Pulmonary hypertension(PH)is featured by pulmonary vascular and cardiac remodeling.Rehabilitation exercise can improve patients’quality of life.We previously pinpointed a potential glutamine metabolism dysfunction in PH.Hence,we aim to investigate whether rehabilitation exercise could mitigate right ventricular and pulmonary vascular remodeling and its effect on glutaminase(GLS).We collected clinical indicators of PH patients and analyzed their correlation with GLS.Rehabilitation exercise(moderate intensity swimming exercise)was performed in monocrotaline-induced PH(MCT-PH)rats.We found that plasma GLS1 level in patients was lower than healthy subjects,and it was negatively correlated with end-systolic stage eccentricity index,right atrial transverse dimension and right atrial longitudinal dimension.MCT-PH rats displayed pulmonary vascular remodeling and right ventricular hypertrophy.Compared to control rats,higher levels of GLS1 and GLS2 mRNA in lung and lower levels of these two isoforms of GLS in right ventricle(RV)were displayed in MCT-PH rats.After swimming exercise,GLS mRNA levels in the lung and RV were significantly upregulated,and the cross-sectional area of right ventricular cardiomyocytes was significantly decreased although the percentage of pulmonary arteriolar medial wall thickness was not significantly changed.Therefore,we hold the opinion that plasma GLS1 level was decreased in PH.The transcriptional levels of GLS1 and GLS2 were increased in the lung tissues in PH,but were decreased in the RV tissues.Meanwhile,the changes of GLS levels indicated the pulmonary vascular and right ventricular remodeling.Whereas moderate intensity swimming exercise might improve the right ventricular remodeling by regulating the levels of GLS.
