BACKGROUND Intrapancreatic fat deposition(IPFD)exerts a significant negative impact on patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM),accelerates disease deterioration,and may lead to impairedβ-cell quality and functio...BACKGROUND Intrapancreatic fat deposition(IPFD)exerts a significant negative impact on patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM),accelerates disease deterioration,and may lead to impairedβ-cell quality and function.AIM To investigate the correlation between T2DM remission and IPFD.METHODS We enrolled 80 abdominally obese patients with T2DM admitted to our institution from January 2019 to October 2023,including 40 patients with weight lossinduced T2DM remission(research group)and 40 patients with short-term intensive insulin therapy-induced T2DM remission(control group).We comparatively analyzed improvements in IPFD[differential computed tomography(CT)values of the spleen and pancreas and average CT value of the pancreas];levels of fasting blood glucose(FBG),2-h postprandial blood glucose(2hPBG),and insulin;and homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR)scores.Correlation analysis was performed to explore the association between T2DM remission and IPFD.RESULTS After treatment,the differential CT values of the spleen and pancreas,FBG,2hPBG,and HOMA-IR in the research group were significantly lower than those before treatment and in the control group,and the average CT value of the pancreas and insulin levels were significantly higher.Correlation analysis revealed that the greater the T2DM remission,the lower the amount of IPFD.展开更多
Seeking effective solutions to control and mitigate the interaction between drilling fluids and clay formations has been a challenge for many years, and various shale inhibitors have shown excellent results in problem...Seeking effective solutions to control and mitigate the interaction between drilling fluids and clay formations has been a challenge for many years, and various shale inhibitors have shown excellent results in problematic shale formations around the world. Herein, the hyperbranched polyamine (HBPA) inhibitor with a higher ratio of amine groups and obvious tendentiousness in protonation was successfully synthesized from ethylenediamine, acryloyl chloride and aziridine by five steps, in which the metal-organic framework (MOF) was employed as a catalyst for ring-open polycondensation (ROP). The structure and purity were confirmed by nuclear magnetic resonance hydrogen spectroscopy and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) respectively. The HBPA displays more excellent performance than EDA and KCl widely applied in the oil field. After aging at 80°C and 180°C, the YP of a slurry system containing 25 wt.% bentonite and 2 wt.% HBPA are just 8.5 Pa and 5.5 Pa (wt.%: percentage of mass), respectively. The swelling lengths of 2 wt.% HBPA are estimated to be 1.78 mm, which falls by 70% compared with that of freshwater. Under a hot rolling aging temperature of 180°C, the HBPA system demonstrates a significant inhibition with more than 85% shale cuttings recovery rate and is superior to conventional EDA and KCl. Mechanism analysis further validates that the HBPA can help to increase the zeta potential.展开更多
Tea as the most consumed beverage in the world has received enormous attention for its promoting health benefits.The deleterious effect ofα-dicarbonyls and AGEs formed in Maillard reaction is also a longterm challeng...Tea as the most consumed beverage in the world has received enormous attention for its promoting health benefits.The deleterious effect ofα-dicarbonyls and AGEs formed in Maillard reaction is also a longterm challenge.The connection between the two topics was the main aim of this review,to address and update the antiglycation effect and mechanism of tea and tea polyphenols.By analyzing recent publications,we have covered across chemistry models,cell lines and animal studies.Tea polyphenols,particularly catechins,showed outstanding antiglycation effect by trappingα-dicarbonyl compounds and impeding AGEs formation.Reduction of carbonyl stress brought alleviation to aging,diabetes,and collagen related diseases or complications through regulation of RAGE expression and subsequent MAPK and TGF-βpathway.Therefore,tea polyphenols can serve as promising natural candidates in the treatment and/or prevention of nephropathy,retinopathy,hepatopathy,hyperglycemia and obesity among others,by their potent antiglycation effect.Further studies need to address on aspects like exact mechanisms,solution of detection obstacles,balance of practical usage and harmful effects such as potential flavor damage and toxicity in food,to gain a comprehensive understanding of antiglycation activities of tea polyphenols and its actual application.展开更多
Atrial septal defect (ASD)is a common acyanotic congenital cardiac disorder associated with genetic mutations.The objective of this study was to identify the genetic factors in a Chinese family with ASD patients by a ...Atrial septal defect (ASD)is a common acyanotic congenital cardiac disorder associated with genetic mutations.The objective of this study was to identify the genetic factors in a Chinese family with ASD patients by a whole exome sequencing approach.Causative ASD gene mutations were examined in 16 members from a three-generation family,among which 6 individuals were diagnosed as having ASD.One hundred and eighty-three unrelated healthy Chinese were recruited as a normal control group.Peripheral venous blood was collected from every subject for genetic analysis.Exome sequencing was performed in the ASD patients.Potential causal mutations were detected in non-ASD family members and normal controls by polymerase chain reaction and sequencing analysis.The results showed that all affected family members carried two novel compound mutations,c.1187delT of PCDHGA4 and c.2557insC of SLFN14,and these two mutations were considered to have synergetic function on ASD.In conclusion,the mutations of c.1187delT of PCDHGA4 and c.2557insC of SLFN14 may be pathogenic factors contributing to the development of ASD.展开更多

Objective:To explore the law of traditional Chinese medicine in prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal reaction after chemotherapy for lung cancer.Methods:The literatures on prevention and treatment of gastroint...Objective:To explore the law of traditional Chinese medicine in prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal reaction after chemotherapy for lung cancer.Methods:The literatures on prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal reaction after chemotherapy with Chinese medicine were searched from CNKI,Wanfang and VIP databases from the establishment of the database to September 2020.After screening,the database was established,and data mining was conducted by using IBM SPSS statistics 20.0 and IBM SPSS modeler 18.0 to summarize the medication rules of traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal reaction after chemotherapy for lung cancer.Results:(1)A total of 131 literatures involving 245 traditional Chinese medicines were included for data mining;(2)High frequency drugs include Astragalus membranaceus,liquorice,Poria cocos,Atractylodes macrocephala,Pinellia ternata,Codonopsis pilosula,Ophiopogon japonicus,coix seed,Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae,Radix Glehniae and so on;(3)The traditional Chinese medicine used is mainly tonifying deficiency medicine,resolving phlegm and relieving cough and asthma medicine,diuresis and dampness medicine,heat clearing medicine and antiphlogistic medicine.The medicine tastes bitter and sweet,and has cold and warm properties.The meridian tropism involves liver,lung,stomach,spleen and kidney;(4)Seven core TCM combinations were obtained by cluster analysis,and 24 drug pairs(groups)were obtained by association rule analysis.Conclusion:Through the data mining of traditional Chinese medicine for the prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal reaction after chemotherapy for lung cancer,we can find out the potential rules of traditional Chinese medicine prescription,and clarify the core Chinese medicine,which is helpful to provide certain reference for the development and research of drugs for the treatment of gastrointestinal reaction and modern clinical practice.展开更多

Establishing how lineages with similar traits are phylogenetically related remains critical for understanding the origin of biodiversity on Earth.Floral traits in plants are widely used to explore phylogenetic relatio...Establishing how lineages with similar traits are phylogenetically related remains critical for understanding the origin of biodiversity on Earth.Floral traits in plants are widely used to explore phylogenetic relationships and to delineate taxonomic groups.The subtribe Swertiinae(Gentianaceae)comprises more than 350 species with high floral diversity ranging from rotate to tubular corollas and possessing diverse nectaries.Here we performed phylogenetic analysis of 60 species from all 15 genera of the subtribe Swertiinae sensu Ho and Liu,representing the range of floral diversity,using data from the nuclear and plastid genomes.Extensive topological conflicts were present between the nuclear and plastome trees.Three of the 15 genera represented by multiple species are polyphyletic in both trees.Key floral traits including corolla type,absence or presence of lobe scales,nectary type,nectary position,and stigma type are randomly distributed in the nuclear and plastome trees without phylogenetic correlation.We also revealed the likely ancient hybrid origin of one large clade comprising 10 genera with diverse floral traits.These results highlight the complex evolutionary history of this subtribe.The phylogenies constructed here provide a basic framework for further exploring the ecological and genetic mechanisms underlying both species diversification and floral diversity.展开更多

Infections caused by bacteria threaten human health,so how to effectively kill bacteria is an urgent problem.We therefore synthesized a NH_(2)-MIL-125-GO-Pt ternary composite heterojunction with graphene oxide(GO)and ...Infections caused by bacteria threaten human health,so how to effectively kill bacteria is an urgent problem.We therefore synthesized a NH_(2)-MIL-125-GO-Pt ternary composite heterojunction with graphene oxide(GO)and platinum(Pt)nanoparticles co-doped with metal-organic framework(NH_(2)-MIL-125)for use in photocatalytic and photothermal synergistic disinfection under white light irradiation.Due to the good conductivity of GO and the Schottky junction between Pt and MOF,the doping of GO and Pt will effectively separate and transfer the photogenerated electron-hole pairs generated by NH_(2)-MIL-125,thereby effectively improving the photocatalytic efficiency of NH_(2)-MIL-125.Meanwhile,NH_(2)-MIL-125-GO-Pt has good photothermal effect under white light irradiation.Therefore,the NH_(2)-MIL-125-GO-Pt composite can be used for effective sterilization.The antibacterial efficiency of NH_(2)-MIL-125-GO-Pt against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli were as high as 99.94%and 99.12%,respectively,within 20 min of white light irradiation.In vivo experiments showed that NH_(2)-MIL-125-GO-Pt could effectively kill bacteria and promote wound healing.This work brings new insights into the use of NH_(2)-MIL-125-based photocatalyst materials for rapid disinfection of environments with pathogenic microorganisms.展开更多
Open wounds are prone to infection and difficult to heal,which even threatens the life of patients because bacterial infections can induce other lethal complications without prompt treatment.The commonly used antibiot...Open wounds are prone to infection and difficult to heal,which even threatens the life of patients because bacterial infections can induce other lethal complications without prompt treatment.The commonly used antibiotics treatment for bacterial infections has been reported to cause globally bacterial resistance and even the occurrence of superbacteria.The highly effective and antibiotic-independent therapeutic strategies are urgently needed for treating various kinds of bacteria-infected diseases.In this work,we synthesized an eco-friendly nanohybrid material(ZnDMZ)consisting of a kind of biodegradable metal organic framework(MOF,ZIF-8)combined with Zn-doped MoS_(2)(Zn-MoS_(2))nanosheets,which exhibited great ability to kill bacteria and promote the healing of bacteria-infected wounds under 660 nm light irradiation.The underlying mechanism is that besides the local hyperthermia,the nanohybrid material exhibits enhanced photocatalytic performance than single component in it,i.e.,it can also be excited by 660 nm light to produce more oxygen radical species(ROS)due to the following factors.On one hand,the Zn doping can reduce the work function and the band gap of MoS_(2),which promotes the movement of photoexcited electrons to the surface of the material.On the other hand,the combination between Zn-MoS_(2) and MOF induces the formation of a built-in electric field due to their work function difference,thus accelerating the separation of photoexcited electron-hole pairs.Because of the synergy of photocatalytic effect,photothermal effect and the released Zn ions,the synthesized ZnDMZ possessed a highly effective antibacterial efficacy of 99.9%against Staphylococcus aureus under 660 nm light irradiation for 20 min without cytotoxicity.In vivo tests showed that this nanohybrid material promoted the wound healing due to the released Zn ions.This nanohybrid will be promising for rapid and portable treatment of bacteria-infected open wounds in pathogenic bacteria contaminated environments.展开更多
With the continuous advancement of the avionics system,crew members are correspondingly reduced,and Single Pilot Operations(SPO)has attracted widespread attention from scholars.To meet the flight requirements in SPO m...With the continuous advancement of the avionics system,crew members are correspondingly reduced,and Single Pilot Operations(SPO)has attracted widespread attention from scholars.To meet the flight requirements in SPO mode,it is necessary to further strengthen air-ground coordination system integration,but at the same time,there will be some safety issues caused by resource integration,function fusion,and task synthesis.Aimed at the safety problems caused by task synthesis,an efficient differential bicluster mining algorithm--DFCluster algorithm is proposed in this paper to discover potential hazardous elements or propagation mechanisms through mining the resource-function matrixes.To mine efficiently,several pruning techniques are designed for generating maximal biclusters without candidate maintenance.The experimental results show that the DFCluster algorithm is more efficient than the existing differential biclustering algorithms under different scales of artificial datasets and public datasets.Then,a typical flight scenario is designed based on SPO air-ground collaborative system architecture,and combined with our proposed DFCluster algorithm for task synthesis safety analysis.Based on the mining results,the SPO airground collaborative system architecture is modified,which ultimately improves the safety of the SPO system.展开更多

文摘Establishing how lineages with similar traits are phylogenetically related remains critical for understanding the origin of biodiversity on Earth.Floral traits in plants are widely used to explore phylogenetic relationships and to delineate taxonomic groups.The subtribe Swertiinae(Gentianaceae)comprises more than 350 species with high floral diversity ranging from rotate to tubular corollas and possessing diverse nectaries.Here we performed phylogenetic analysis of 60 species from all 15 genera of the subtribe Swertiinae sensu Ho and Liu,representing the range of floral diversity,using data from the nuclear and plastid genomes.Extensive topological conflicts were present between the nuclear and plastome trees.Three of the 15 genera represented by multiple species are polyphyletic in both trees.Key floral traits including corolla type,absence or presence of lobe scales,nectary type,nectary position,and stigma type are randomly distributed in the nuclear and plastome trees without phylogenetic correlation.We also revealed the likely ancient hybrid origin of one large clade comprising 10 genera with diverse floral traits.These results highlight the complex evolutionary history of this subtribe.The phylogenies constructed here provide a basic framework for further exploring the ecological and genetic mechanisms underlying both species diversification and floral diversity.

文摘Commercial aircraft crews have experienced a trend from five-person crew to dual-pilot crew.Arised from both technological and market demands,Single Pilot Operations(SPO)is considered an important development direction in modern aviation technology.In this paper,starting from Dual-Pilot Operations(DPO),the piloting process,decision-making process and decisionmaking mode of DPO for commercial aircraft are studied to obtain the operational requirements of SPO.Then,based on above analysis,the operational mechanism of SPO is studied and the core technology of SPO mode is proposed.Next,a new closed frequent bicluster mining algorithm named FsCluster is proposed for the optimization of the SPO model,and the other efficient bicluster mining algorithm named TsCluster is proposed for the analysis and verification of the SPO model.Finally,a typical flight phase scenario is modelled by Magic System of System,and combined with the proposed algorithms for analysis and verification to determine whether the SPO mode can meet the DPO requirements.

文摘Infections caused by bacteria threaten human health,so how to effectively kill bacteria is an urgent problem.We therefore synthesized a NH_(2)-MIL-125-GO-Pt ternary composite heterojunction with graphene oxide(GO)and platinum(Pt)nanoparticles co-doped with metal-organic framework(NH_(2)-MIL-125)for use in photocatalytic and photothermal synergistic disinfection under white light irradiation.Due to the good conductivity of GO and the Schottky junction between Pt and MOF,the doping of GO and Pt will effectively separate and transfer the photogenerated electron-hole pairs generated by NH_(2)-MIL-125,thereby effectively improving the photocatalytic efficiency of NH_(2)-MIL-125.Meanwhile,NH_(2)-MIL-125-GO-Pt has good photothermal effect under white light irradiation.Therefore,the NH_(2)-MIL-125-GO-Pt composite can be used for effective sterilization.The antibacterial efficiency of NH_(2)-MIL-125-GO-Pt against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli were as high as 99.94%and 99.12%,respectively,within 20 min of white light irradiation.In vivo experiments showed that NH_(2)-MIL-125-GO-Pt could effectively kill bacteria and promote wound healing.This work brings new insights into the use of NH_(2)-MIL-125-based photocatalyst materials for rapid disinfection of environments with pathogenic microorganisms.

文摘Open wounds are prone to infection and difficult to heal,which even threatens the life of patients because bacterial infections can induce other lethal complications without prompt treatment.The commonly used antibiotics treatment for bacterial infections has been reported to cause globally bacterial resistance and even the occurrence of superbacteria.The highly effective and antibiotic-independent therapeutic strategies are urgently needed for treating various kinds of bacteria-infected diseases.In this work,we synthesized an eco-friendly nanohybrid material(ZnDMZ)consisting of a kind of biodegradable metal organic framework(MOF,ZIF-8)combined with Zn-doped MoS_(2)(Zn-MoS_(2))nanosheets,which exhibited great ability to kill bacteria and promote the healing of bacteria-infected wounds under 660 nm light irradiation.The underlying mechanism is that besides the local hyperthermia,the nanohybrid material exhibits enhanced photocatalytic performance than single component in it,i.e.,it can also be excited by 660 nm light to produce more oxygen radical species(ROS)due to the following factors.On one hand,the Zn doping can reduce the work function and the band gap of MoS_(2),which promotes the movement of photoexcited electrons to the surface of the material.On the other hand,the combination between Zn-MoS_(2) and MOF induces the formation of a built-in electric field due to their work function difference,thus accelerating the separation of photoexcited electron-hole pairs.Because of the synergy of photocatalytic effect,photothermal effect and the released Zn ions,the synthesized ZnDMZ possessed a highly effective antibacterial efficacy of 99.9%against Staphylococcus aureus under 660 nm light irradiation for 20 min without cytotoxicity.In vivo tests showed that this nanohybrid material promoted the wound healing due to the released Zn ions.This nanohybrid will be promising for rapid and portable treatment of bacteria-infected open wounds in pathogenic bacteria contaminated environments.

文摘With the continuous advancement of the avionics system,crew members are correspondingly reduced,and Single Pilot Operations(SPO)has attracted widespread attention from scholars.To meet the flight requirements in SPO mode,it is necessary to further strengthen air-ground coordination system integration,but at the same time,there will be some safety issues caused by resource integration,function fusion,and task synthesis.Aimed at the safety problems caused by task synthesis,an efficient differential bicluster mining algorithm--DFCluster algorithm is proposed in this paper to discover potential hazardous elements or propagation mechanisms through mining the resource-function matrixes.To mine efficiently,several pruning techniques are designed for generating maximal biclusters without candidate maintenance.The experimental results show that the DFCluster algorithm is more efficient than the existing differential biclustering algorithms under different scales of artificial datasets and public datasets.Then,a typical flight scenario is designed based on SPO air-ground collaborative system architecture,and combined with our proposed DFCluster algorithm for task synthesis safety analysis.Based on the mining results,the SPO airground collaborative system architecture is modified,which ultimately improves the safety of the SPO system.

文摘Increasing evidence suggests that long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)are of vital importance for various biological processes,and dysregulation of lncRNAs is frequently associated with various diseases such as psoriasis.LncRNAs modulate gene expression at the transcriptional,post-transcriptional,and translational levels;however,the specific regulatory mechanisms of lncRNAs in psoriasis remain largely unexplored.This review provides an overview of recent studies investigating mechanisms and functions of lncRNAs in psoriasis,especially focusing on the role of lncRNAs in keratinocytes,T cells,and dendritic cells.
