We process the standard 30 s, static GPS data and the 1 s, high-rate GPS (HRGPS) data provided by the Crustal Movement Observation Network of China with GAMIT/GLOBK software package, and obtain the co- seismic displacements of near field and far field, and the epoch-by-epoch time series of HRGPS during Lushan earthquake. GPS data from about 20 sites in Sichuan province, which located between 40 and 450 km from the epicenter, are analyzed so as to study the characteristics of the static displacements and the dynamic crustal defor- mations, with periods ranging from several minutes to over a month. The result shows that: the static displacements caused by Lushan earthquake are limited to several centi- meters; the nearest station SCTQ at 43 km from the epi- center has the largest static displacement of about 2 cm, while the other stations generally have insignificant dis- placements of less than 5 mm. the stations in the east ofSichuan-Yunnan region shifts 5-10 mm toward the southwest, and the stations in the middle-west of Sichuan Basin moves indistinctively 1-2 mm toward the northwest; station SCTQ has the largest kinematic displacement of about 4 and 3 cm peak-to-peak on the north and east component, respectively, and is much greater than the static permanent displacement; for the stations located at a distance greater than 150 km from the epicenter, the kinematic motions are generally insignificant; exception- ally, station SCNC and station SCSN in central Sichuan Basin have significant kinematic motions although they are more than 200 km away from the epicenter. 展开更多

A phase and microstructure selection map used for peritectic alloy directionally solidified under convection condition was presented,which is based on the nucleation,constitutional undercooling criterion(NCU criterion),and the highest interface temperature criterion.This selection map shows the relationships between the phase/microstructure,the G/V ratio(G is the temperature gradient,V is the growth velocity),and the alloy composition under different convection intensities and nucleation undercoolings.Comparing with the results from directional solidification experiments of Sn–Cd peritectic alloys,this selection map was generally in agreement with the experimental results. 展开更多

High temperature vulcanised silicone rubber(SR)has excellent hydrophobicity and thus is widely applied both in indoor and outdoor insulation.According to the analysis of different experimental ageing tests and field investigation of SR,temperature and humidity are considered to be the fundamental factors during degradation.Hygrothermal ageing was proposed in this study to simulate the chalking state of the SR,finally leading to the irreversible degradation far below the thermal decomposition temperature.The variation of morphology,hardness and polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)content was quantified during the yearlong hygrothermal ageing test.It is implied that the gradual process of whitening and hardening are accompanied by the decline of the PDMS content.Finally,ageing delamination in SR and its degradation mechanism were proposed. 展开更多

Vulnerabilities and integrity of precise point positioning for intelligent transport systems:overview and analysis 被引量:6

The implementation of Intelligent Transport System (ITS) technology is expected to significantly improve road safety and traffic efficiency. One of the key components of ITS is precise vehicle positioning. Positioning with decimetre to sub-metre accuracy is a fundamental capability for self-driving, and other automated applications. Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Precise Point Positioning (PPP) is an attractive positioning approach for ITS due to its relatively low-cost and flexibility. However, GNSS PPP is vulnerable to several effects, especially those caused by the challenging urban environments, where the ITS technology is most likely needed. To meet the high integrity requirements of ITS applications, it is necessary to carefully analyse potential faults and failures of PPP and to study relevant integrity monitoring methods. In this paper an overview of vulnerabilities of GNSS PPP is presented to identify the faults that need to be monitored when developing PPP integrity monitoring methods. These vulnerabilities are categorised into different groups according to their impact and error sources to assist integrity fault analysis, which is demonstrated with Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) methods. The main vulnerabilities are discussed in detail, along with their causes, characteristics, impact on users, and related mitigation methods. In addition, research on integrity monitoring methods used for accounting for the threats and faults in PPP for ITS applications is briefly reviewed. Both system-level (network-end) and user-level (user-end) integrity monitoring approaches for PPP are briefly discussed, focusing on their development and the challenges in urban scenarios. Some open issues, on which further efforts should focus, are also identified. 展开更多
