Vanadium oxide nanospheres encapsulated in N-doped carbon nanofibers with morphology and defect dual-engineering toward advanced aqueous zinc-ion batteries

Vanadium-based electrodes are regarded as attractive cathode materials in aqueous zinc ion batteries(ZIBs)caused by their high capacity and unique layered structure.However,it is extremely challenging to acquire high electrochemical performance owing to the limited electronic conductivity,sluggish ion kinetics,and severe volume expansion during the insertion/extraction process of Zn^(2+).Herein,a series of V_(2)O_(3)nanospheres embedded N-doped carbon nanofiber structures with various V_(2)O_(3)spherical morphologies(solid,core-shell,hollow)have been designed for the first time by an electrospinning technique followed thermal treatments.The N-doped carbon nanofibers not only improve the electrical conductivity and the structural stability,but also provides encapsulating shells to prevent the vanadium dissolution and aggregation of V_(2)O_(3)particles.Furthermore,the varied morphological structures of V_(2)O_(3)with abundant oxygen vacancies can alleviate the volume change and increase the Zn^(2+)pathway.Besides,the phase transition between V_(2)O_(3)and Zn_XV_(2)O_(5-m)·n H_(2)O in the cycling was also certified.As a result,the as-obtained composite delivers excellent long-term cycle stability and enhanced rate performance for coin cells,which is also confirmed through density functional theory(DFT)calculations.Even assembled into flexible ZIBs,the sample still exhibits superior electrochemical performance,which may afford new design concept for flexible cathode materials of ZIBs.

Application of Grey Correlation Degree Analysis in Broad Bean Strain Screening

[Objectives] The aim was to clarify the target and approach to purifying and selecting Baoshan Touxinlv broad bean. [Methods] In 2012,5 homozygous strains were selected successfully as the material,and completely randomized block arrangement was adopted with 3 repeated trials to analyze the effects of plant height,effective length of podding branches,branch number per plant,pod number per plant,grain number per pod and 100-grain weight on the yield of each plant in the system. [Results] The results showed that the effects of the various factors on the yield of Baoshan broad beans were in the order of grain number per pod > effective length of podding branches > 100-grain weight > pod number per plant > branch number per plant > plant height. [Conclusions]In breeding new strains of Baoshan broad beans,under the premise of ensuring the seed nature and quality of the original variety,priority should be given to the gain number per pod and the increment of effective length of podding branches,followed by the pod number per plant,branch number per plant,plant height,which is the best way to breed new strains of Baoshan Touxinlv broad beans.

How to Increase Farmers' Income in the Poor Mountainous Areas ?

Using the gray system theory and gray relational analysis method,the relationship between added value of hybrid corn,hogs,Juglans sigillata,Pisum Sativum L.,safflower and that of farmers' net income in Bailongjing Village,Wafang Township,Longyang District,Baoshan City,Yunnan Province was analyzed,and the ways to increase farmers' per capita net income were studied. The results showed that economic income of farmers by structure adjustment of agriculture is Juglans sigillata > Pisum Sativum L. > safflower > hogs > hybrid corn. The study can provide scientific basis for optimizing agricultural industrial structure in Baoshan City,and promoting the rapid growth of farmers' economic income.

The Work of Instructors for New Socialist Countryside Construction

To meet the wishes and demands of the majority of farmers,it is necessary to steadily build a new socialist countryside,and actively promote urban-rural integration. With the guidance for new countryside construction as an opportunity,this paper studies and explores the working practice of new countryside construction instructors sent by Longyang Agricultural Technique Extension Station for various village committees( or offices) during 2007- 2013. This paper analyzes and summarizes the results achieved and the main problems,and puts forth the corresponding recommendations. The results of the analysis can provide a reference for the instructors to carry out the guiding work for new countryside construction.

Characteristics of Gray Skin Chewing Sugarcane and Its Precise Cultivation Techniques

[Objectives] The aim was to provide technical supports for the popularization and application of gray skin chewing sugarcane in large areas in suitable regions. [Methods] Field planting tests were conducted in 2012-2016 to study the yield,major economic traits,disease resistances,growth periods,adaptability and cultivation techniques of gray skin chewing sugarcane. [Results]The characteristics and a set of precise cultivation techniques for gray skin chewing sugarcane were summarized. [Conclusions] The technology can be widely applied in the areas with altitude of less than 1 500 m and areas with similar climate in Yunnan Province.

Election Procedure for Rural Two Committees

In order to further strengthen the construction and improvement of villager autonomy system with democratic election,democratic decision making,democratic management,and democratic supervision of rural two committees with Chinese characteristics,experience of work team of Longyang District Agricultural Technology Extension Station dispatched to villager committees( or offices) and their guidance on election of rural two committees in 2007-2016 were used,and exploration was made for election of rural two committees from the third to the sixth committees. It summarized achievements and main problems in election of rural two committees and came up with pertinent recommendations.The results of this study are expected to provide certain reference for theory and practice of future villager autonomy.
