The conclusions of Gang and Jingo) result not only from misunderstanding of the aims of our study,) but also a lack of basic knowledge for the design of RCT and the limitations on the content, and hence the length, of the primary outcome article in high-impact journals (i.e. 2,500 words and a total of 5 figures/tables in JAMA).
