目的:探讨长链非编码 RNA(lncRNA)HOX转录本反义 RNA(HOTAIR)在接受调强放射治疗鼻咽癌中的表达及其临床意义。方法:收集20例鼻咽癌患者肿瘤组织及对应癌旁组织的新鲜标本,279例经病理学证实接受调强放射治疗的鼻咽癌患者的组织标本、... 目的:探讨长链非编码 RNA(lncRNA)HOX转录本反义 RNA(HOTAIR)在接受调强放射治疗鼻咽癌中的表达及其临床意义。方法:收集20例鼻咽癌患者肿瘤组织及对应癌旁组织的新鲜标本,279例经病理学证实接受调强放射治疗的鼻咽癌患者的组织标本、临床病理特征及随访资料。应用 RT qPCR法检测鼻咽癌组织中HOTAIR的表达情况,并对临床病理资料和随访资料进行统计分析。结果:20例鼻咽癌及其配对的正常鼻咽黏膜上皮组织中,75%(15/20)鼻咽癌组织 lncRNAHOTAIR的表达水平明显高于正常鼻咽组织(P<0.01);在 279例鼻咽癌患者组织中,有59.9%(167/279)鼻咽癌组织 HOTAIR表达升高;HOTAIR的高表达与 T和 N分期密切相关(P<0.05),但与患者的年龄、性别、病理类型和 M分期没有明显相关性;与 lncRNAHOTAIR低表达组相比,HO TAIR高表达组的鼻咽癌患者疾病无进展生存率和总生存率明显下降(P<0.05)。结论:lncRNAHOTAIR在鼻咽癌中表达水平升高,且与鼻咽癌患者的不良预后明显相关。 展开更多

In order to better understand land application of sewage sludge, the characterization of heavy metals and organic pollutants were investigated in three different sewage sludges in Shanghai City, China. It was found that the total concentrations of Cd in all of sewage sludge and total concentrations of Zn in Jinshan sewage sludge, as well as those ofZn, Cu, and Ni in Taopu sludge are higher than Chinese regulation limit of pollutants for sludge to be used in agriculture. Leachability of rig in all of studied samples and that of Cd in Taopu sewage sludge exceed the limit values of waste solid extraction standard in China legislation. Based on the characteristics for three kinds of sewage sludge, a pot experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of soil amended with Quyang sewage sludge on the accumulation of heavy metalo.by Begonia semperfloreas-hybr; Ophiopogon japonicas (L.F.) Ker-Gaw; Loropetalum chindense-var, rubrum; Dendranthema morifolium; Viola tricolor; A ntirrhinum majas; Buxas radicans Sieb; Viburnum macrocephalum; Osmanthas fragrans Lour; Cinnamomum camphora siebold and Ligustrum lucidum ait. Results showed that 8 species of plant survived in the amended soil, and moreover they flourished as well as those cultivated in the control soil. The heavy metal concentration in plants varied with species, As, Pb, Cd and Cr concentration being the highest in the four herbaceous species studied, particularly in the roots of D. morifolium. These plants, however, did not show accumulator of As, Pb, Cd and Cr. The highest concentration of Ni and Hg was found in the roots ofD. morifolium, followed by the leaves ofB. semperflorens-hybr. Levels of Zn and Cu were much higher in D. morifolium than in the other plant species. D. morifolium accumulated Ni, Hg, Cu and Zn, which may contribute to the decrease of heavy metal contents in the amended soil. Treatment with sewage sludge did not significantly affect the uptake of heavy metals by the L. chindense-var, rubrum, however, it significantly affected the uptake of heavy metals by D. morifolium. 展开更多

Effect of solution pH, initial metal ion concentration, and temperature were determined. The results of the kinetic studies showed that the uptake processes of the two metal ions(Cd(Ⅱ) and Pb(Ⅱ)) followed the pseudo-second-order rate expression. The equilibrium data fitted very well to both the Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption models. The FT-IR analysis showed that the main mechanism of Cd(Ⅱ) and Pb(Ⅱ) biosorption onto dried activated sludge was their binding with amide I group. 展开更多

Polyepoxysuccinic acid (PESA), as an environmental benign biodegradable chelant, was used to remove heavy metals from the sewage sludge of Shanghai Taopu Wastewater Treatment Plant. The extraction of cadmium (Cd) from sewage sludge using aqueous solution of PESA was studied. It was found that PESA was capable of extracting Cd from the sludge, and the extraction effciency was dependent on both pH and the concentration of the chelating reagent. The extraction effciency decreased gradually with increasing of pH, whereas the dependency on pH decreased as the concentration of PESA increased. In the case of the high PESA to total metal ratio, e.g., 10:1, the extraction effciency reached above 70% within the pH range from 1 to 7. The highest extraction effciency obtained in the experiment was 78%. By comparing the contents of the heavy metals in sewage sludge before and after the extraction, it was found that the extracted Cd came mainly from the four fractions: acid-soluble, reducible, oxidizable, and water-soluble fractions. 展开更多

The biodegradation kinetic of organic compounds of acrylic fiber wastewater in biofilm is studied(the treatment technology is coagulation/sedimentation-anoxic/aerobic biofilm process), and the results showed that the concentration of non-degradation pollutants in effluent is 77 mg/L. In aerobic zone, the half-rate constant is 72.84 mg/L, the maximum removal rate of organic compounds at unit area filler is very low, 0.089 g/(m 2·d), which corresponds to the fact that there are some biorefractory compounds in the wastewater. 展开更多

The particle characterization from the influent and effluent of a chemical-biological flocculation (CBF) process was studied with a laser diffraction device. Water samples from a chemically enhanced primary treatment (CEPT) process and a primary sediment tank process were also analyzed for comparison. The results showed that CBF process was not only effective for both the big size particles and small size particles removal, but also the best particle removal process in the three processes. The results also indicated that CBF process was superior to CEPT process in the heavy metals removal. The high and non-selective removal for heavy metals might be closely related to its strong ability to eliminate small particles. Samples from different locations in CBF reactors showed that small particles were easier to aggregate into big ones and those disrupted flocs could properly flocculate again along CBF reactor because of the biological flocculation. 展开更多

A conductometric nitrate biosensor based on methyl viologen/Nafion/nitrate reductase(NR) interdigitated electrode for heavy metal determination was proposed.The activity of NR(EC 1.6.6.2) from Asper gillusniger(A.niger) was assayed as a function of metal concentration in the presence of Cu^2+,Zn^2+,Cd^2+ and Pb^2+.Parameters influencing the performance of the biosensor were optimized for the application of it in the inhibition determination of heavy metal ions.Detection limits for Cu^2+,Zn^2+,Cd^2+ and Pb^2+ were about 0.05,0.5,0.1 and 1.0 μmol/L,respectively.The results show that NR activity could not be regained after exposure to Cu^2+,but could be partially recovered after exposure to Zn^2+,Pb^2+ and Cd^2+. 展开更多

This compound is of high bio-resistance due to its complex structure which consists of one phen... 2,6-Ditert-butylphenol (2,6-DTBP) is a major organic contaminant presenting in acrylic fiber manufacturing wastewaters. This compound is of high bio-resistance due to its complex structure which consists of one phenol group and two highly branched tert-butyl groups. This research attempted to improve the biodegradation efficiency of 2,6-DTBP through various strain immobilization methods. The stratified immobilization can settle oxygen transmission in the single microorganism immobilization, and can realize two-process reaction in the single device by choosing two symbiotic microorganisms. Two effective strains, named F-1-4 and F-3-4, which were screened out in our previous work, were used to degrade 2,6-DTBP after being immobilized in calcium alginate gel. Results indicate that the substrate removal efficiency of various immobilization methods follows the order: stratified 〉 single F-3-4 〉 mixed ≈single F-1-4. The immobilized biodegradation capacity was higher than the free one. After an incubation time of 12 d, 91% of 2,6-DTBP could be degraded by the stratified immobilization method, compared to 79% achieved by the mixed immobilization method with an initial 2,6-DTBP concentration of 100 mg/L. The stratified immobilization satisfies the oxygen demand nature of the aerobic F-3-4 and the facultative F-1-4, thus yielding the highest degradation efficiency. Both the outer layer strain F-3-4 and the inner layer strain F-1-4 can grow actively on the substrate of 2,6-DTBP, as illustrated by SEM images. This study shows that the highly bio-refractory compound, 2,6-DTBP, can be effectively degraded using appropriately inunobilized microorganism strains. 展开更多

Anaerobic expanded bed reactor(AEBR) is mostly used for the treatment of fairly low strength wastewaters. Since the performance of AEBR largely depends on its hydraulic characteristics, residence time distribution(RTD) method is commonly used for investigation of the hydraulic characteristics of AEBR under different ascending velocity of mixed liquor. In this paper, a pilot-scale AEBR reactor is investigated for treatment of municipal sewage in which lithium chloride is used as a tracer. The results show that the AEBR could be considered as the superimposition of several constant stirred tank reactors(CSTR) and the increase of hydraulic up-flow velocity could increase the number of the CSTR and decrease the volume rate of the dead zone. The optimal up-flow velocity of the investigated AEBR was approximately 1.9 m/h in the municipal sewage treatment. 展开更多

目的:探讨针刺干预癌症相关性疲劳的疗效及相关作用机制。方法:将80例癌症相关性疲劳患者随机分为观察组及对照组,实际完成病例67例(观察组36例,对照组31例)。对照组进行常规放化疗以及对症治疗,未采用特殊抗疲劳治疗;观察组在对照组治... 目的:探讨针刺干预癌症相关性疲劳的疗效及相关作用机制。方法:将80例癌症相关性疲劳患者随机分为观察组及对照组,实际完成病例67例(观察组36例,对照组31例)。对照组进行常规放化疗以及对症治疗,未采用特殊抗疲劳治疗;观察组在对照组治疗的基础上,配合针刺治疗,穴取百会、关元、气海、风池、足三里、三阴交,每日1次,5次为一疗程,疗程间休息2 d,干预4个疗程。记录两组患者干预前后中文版癌症治疗功能评估疲乏量表(FACT-F)、McGill生存质量问卷(MQOL)评分,以及干预前后血清C反应蛋白(CRP)、白细胞介素-6(IL-6)、肿瘤坏死因子α(TNF-α)及可溶性肿瘤坏死因子受体1(sTNF-R1)水平的变化。结果:(1)干预后,观察组FACT-F评分显著低于干预前(P<0.05),而对照组干预前后差异无统计学意义(P>0.05),观察组干预前后评分差值显著高于对照组(P<0.05)。(2)干预后,观察组MQOL中生理维度、心理维度评分降低(P<0.05),社会支持维度评分提高(P<0.05);观察组生理维度、心理维度及社会支持维度干预前后评分差值均高于对照组(P<0.05)。(3)干预后,观察组血清IL-6、TNF-α及sTNF-R1水平降低(P<0.05),对照组血清CRP、IL-6水平升高(P<0.05),且观察组血清CRP、IL-6、TNF-α水平低于对照组(P<0.05)。结论:(1)针刺可改善癌症相关性疲劳患者的低落情绪、虚弱、头痛等相关症状,并提高患者对获得社会、家庭支持方面的感知,增强患者治病的信心;(2)针刺可有效降低患者血清相关炎性细胞因子水平,这可能是针刺干预CRF的作用机制之一。 展开更多
