A solution-processed bulk heterojunction photovoltaic cell is fabricated based on poly[(2-methoxy,5-octoxy)-1,4-phenylenevinylene](MOPPV)-single walled carbon nanotube(SWNT)-ZnSe quantum dots.The surface morphology sh...A solution-processed bulk heterojunction photovoltaic cell is fabricated based on poly[(2-methoxy,5-octoxy)-1,4-phenylenevinylene](MOPPV)-single walled carbon nanotube(SWNT)-ZnSe quantum dots.The surface morphology shows the formation of an interpenetrating network between well-dispersed SWNTs and ZnSe in the MOPPV matrix.A blue-shifted absorption band indicates the strong electron interaction between SWNTs,ZnSe and MOPPV.A marked increase in the short-circuit current and power conversion efficiency(PCE)of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/MOPPV-SWNT-ZnSe/LiF/Al devices was achieved and compared with that without SWNTs.Results indicate that the enhanced performance is contributed by a high photocurrent due to efficient exciton dissociation and increased mobility for carrier transport in the SWNT pathway.展开更多

By inserting a wedge sample cell to the optical path of the Michelson interferometer, the refractive index of the liquid-state alloy SCN-Eth is measured at different temperatures and densities. Formation of pyrite (FeS 2) films through electrodeposition from aqueous solutions which contain different source materials has been investigated. Na 2S 2O 3·5H 2O is used as sulfur source material, FeSO 4·7...Formation of pyrite (FeS 2) films through electrodeposition from aqueous solutions which contain different source materials has been investigated. Na 2S 2O 3·5H 2O is used as sulfur source material, FeSO 4·7H 2O, FeCl 2·4H 2O and FeCl 3·6H 2O are used as iron source materials respectively. The samples are annealed in N 2 atmosphere at 400 ℃ and 500 ℃ respectively. From XRD (X-ray diffraction) patterns of the films, it is found that there are peaks of FeS 2, FeS and Fe 7S 8 in all films, but there are sharp and more peaks characterizing FeS 2 in the film from Na 2S 2O 3 +FeSO 4 than other films, and 400 ℃ is the more suitable temperature than 500 ℃ for annealing the samples in N 2 atmosphere. In addition, one solution can be used repeatedly.展开更多

This model is based on finite difference beam propagation method modified by Do...A spectral numerical analysis method to analyze the Er-doped waveguide amplifiers(EDWA) in wavelength division multiplexing is presented. This model is based on finite difference beam propagation method modified by Douglas scheme, which can efficiently reduce the truncation error and time consumption. By superposing the Lorentzian function for the experimental curves, the spectral properties of EDWA can be investigated. Results show that the pump efficiency of EDWA pumped at 980nm is higher than that at 1480nm. Meanwhile, by rationally increasing the pump length and the erbium concentration, larger signal gains can be acquired. Taking account of the up-conversion and cross-relaxation effects of cooperation, the spectrum analysis of highly doped EDWA is carried out over a wider frequency band.展开更多
