To get a LAI retrieval model based ground reflectance and vegetation index, detailed field data were ...The aim of this paper is to investigate the feasibility of using Landsat TM data to retrieve leaf area index (LAI). To get a LAI retrieval model based ground reflectance and vegetation index, detailed field data were collected in the study area of eastern China, dominated by bamboo, tea plant and greengage. Plant canopy reflectance of Landsat TM wavelength bands has been inversed using software of 6S. LAI is an important ecological parameter. In this paper, atmospheric corrected Landsat TM imagery was utilized to calculate different vegetation indices (VI), such as simple ratio vegetation index (SR), shortwave infrared modified simple ratio (MSR), and normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI). Data of 53 samples of LAI were measured by LAI-2000 (LI-COR) in the study area. LAI was modeled based on different reflectances of bands and different vegetation indices from Landsat TM and LAI samples data. There are certainly correlations between LAI and the reflectance of TM3, TM4, TM5 and TM7. The best model through analyzing the results is LAI = 1.2097*MSR + 0.4741 using the method of regression analysis. The result shows that the correlation coefficient R2 is 0.5157, and average accuracy is 85.75%. However, whether the model of this paper is suitable for application in subtropics needs to be verified in the future.展开更多
Based on the instantaneous high-pressure(IHP)produced by high-pressure single pole-cylinder pump, the effects of combining this pressure with medium temperature on the retention of total vitamin C(Vc)in wax gourd juic...Based on the instantaneous high-pressure(IHP)produced by high-pressure single pole-cylinder pump, the effects of combining this pressure with medium temperature on the retention of total vitamin C(Vc)in wax gourd juices were investigated under 20 - 80 MPa, 35 - 58℃, pH 3. 0 - 6. 0 and processing time 0-8 min. Results showed that the loss of Vc increased with elevated processing temperatures(50 MPa, 4 min). When the temperature of raw juices was 35℃, the retention of total Vc was higher under 40 - 60 MPa than that under the pressure < 40 MPa or > 60 MPa, and it was up to 94%(4 min). The retention of total Vc decreases slowly within 6 min, but rapidly after 6 min. The pH can also influence the retention of total Vc, and this retention can come to a highest point at pH 6.0.展开更多

Numerical calculations on GaAs/AlxGa1-xAs cylindrical QWW are performed.Results reveal that there are two branches of IO phonon modes and one branch of SO phonon mode, and the dispersionfrequencies ofIO or SO phonon modes sensitively depend on the Al mole fraction x in Alx Ga1-x As material and the wave-vector in z direction, kz. With the increasing of κz and quantum number m, the frequency of each IO mode approaches oneof the two frequency values of the single GaAs/Alx Ga1-xAs heterostructure, and the electrostatic potential distributionof the phonon mode tends to be more and more localized at a certain interface or surface, meanwhile, the couplingbetween the electron-IO and -SO phonons becomes weaker.展开更多

Via variant of displacement harmonic oscillation, the exact electronic states in the semi-parabolic QW with an applied electric field have also been obtained and discussed. Numerical results on typical GaAs material reveal that, electric fields and confined potential frequency of semi-parabolic QW have obvious influences on the energy levels of electronic states and the THG in the semi-parabolic QW systems.展开更多
Applying the method of the unified colored noise approximation and phase lock, we study in this paper the stationary intensity distribution of the single-mode laser driven by colored pump noise with cross-correlation ...Applying the method of the unified colored noise approximation and phase lock, we study in this paper the stationary intensity distribution of the single-mode laser driven by colored pump noise with cross-correlation between the real and imaginary parts of the quantum noise. We present a thorough discussion of how the cross-correlation λq between the realand imaginary parts of the quantum noise and the self-correlation time τ of the pump noise determine the behaviors of the stationary distribution Qst(I), the mean (I), and the variance λ2(0) of the laser intensity. It is shown that cross-correlation intensity λq of the complex quantum noise can induce a first-order-like transition. When the pump noise is colored noise (τ≠ 0), improving the pump parameters monotonously will make the curves of Qst(I)exhibit reentrant phase transition. The fluctuations of laser intensity are strongly influenced by λq and τ when the laser is operated near or below threshold. Especially when τ≠ 0, the heights of the peaks of the curves of λ2(0)-a0 and λ3(0)-a0, (here a0 is the net gain coefficient) go up as λq increases. However the entire curves of λ2(0)-a0 and λ3(0)-a0are abruptly suppressed when λq = 1, in similarity to phase transition of stationary intensity distribution.展开更多
