Betula platyphylla and Betula costata are important species in mixed broadleaved-Korean pine(Pinus koraiensis)forests.However,the specific ways in which their growth is affected by warm temperatures and drought remain...Betula platyphylla and Betula costata are important species in mixed broadleaved-Korean pine(Pinus koraiensis)forests.However,the specific ways in which their growth is affected by warm temperatures and drought remain unclear.To address this issue,60 and 62 tree-ring cores of B.platyphylla and B.costata were collected in Yichun,China.Using dendrochronological methods,the response and adaptation of these species to climate change were examined.A“hysteresis effect”was found in the rings of both species,linked to May–September moisture conditions of the previous year.Radial growth of B.costata was positively correlated with the standardized precipitation-evapotranspiration index(SPEI),the precipitation from September to October of the previous year,and the relative humidity in October of the previous year.Growth of B.costata is primarily restricted by moisture conditions from September to October.In contrast,B.platyphylla growth is mainly limited by minimum temperatures in May–June of both the previous and current years.After droughts,B.platyphylla had a faster recovery rate compared to B.costata.In the context of rising temperatures since 1980,the correlation between B.platyphylla growth and monthly SPEI became positive and strengthened over time,while the growth of B.costata showed no conspicuous change.Our findings suggest that the growth of B.platyphylla is already affected by warming temperatures,whereas B.costata may become limited if warming continues or intensifies.Climate change could disrupt the succession of these species,possibly accelerating the succession of pioneer species.The results of this research are of great significance for understanding how the growth changes of birch species under warming and drying conditions,and contribute to understanding the structural adaptation of mixed broadleaved-Korean pine(Pinus koraiensis)forests under climate change.展开更多

In wireless communication networks,mobile users in overlapping areas may experience severe interference,therefore,designing effective Interference Management(IM)methods is crucial to improving network performance.Howe...In wireless communication networks,mobile users in overlapping areas may experience severe interference,therefore,designing effective Interference Management(IM)methods is crucial to improving network performance.However,when managing multiple disturbances from the same source,it may not be feasible to use existing IM methods such as Interference Alignment(IA)and Interference Steering(IS)exclusively.It is because with IA,the aligned interference becomes indistinguishable at its desired Receiver(Rx)under the cost constraint of Degrees-of-Freedom(DoF),while with IS,more transmit power will be consumed in the direct and repeated application of IS to each interference.To remedy these deficiencies,Interference Alignment Steering(IAS)is proposed by incorporating IA and IS and exploiting their advantages in IM.With IAS,the interfering Transmitter(Tx)first aligns one interference incurred by the transmission of one data stream to a one-dimensional subspace orthogonal to the desired transmission at the interfered Rx,and then the remaining interferences are treated as a whole and steered to the same subspace as the aligned interference.Moreover,two improved versions of IAS,i.e.,IAS with Full Adjustment at the Interfering Tx(IAS-FAIT)and Interference Steering and Alignment(ISA),are presented.The former considers the influence of IA on the interfering user-pair's performance.The orthogonality between the desired signals at the interfered Rx can be maintained by adjusting the spatial characteristics of all interferences and the aligned interference components,thus ensuring the Spectral Efficiency(SE)of the interfering communication pairs.Under ISA,the power cost for IS at the interfered Tx is minimized,hence improving SE performance of the interfered communication-pairs.Since the proposed methods are realized at the interfering and interfered Txs cooperatively,the expenses of IM are shared by both communication-pairs.Our in-depth simulation results show that joint use of IA and IS can effectively manage multiple disturbances from the same source and improve the system's SE.展开更多

Rye(Secale cereale L., 2n=2x=14, RR) is a significant genetic resource for improving common wheat because of its resistance to multiple diseases and abiotic-stress tolerant traits. The 1RS chromosome from the German c...Rye(Secale cereale L., 2n=2x=14, RR) is a significant genetic resource for improving common wheat because of its resistance to multiple diseases and abiotic-stress tolerant traits. The 1RS chromosome from the German cultivated rye variety Petkus is critical in wheat breeding. However, its weakened disease resistance highlights the need to identify new resources. In the present study, a novel derived line called D27 was developed from common wheat and Mexico Rye.Cytological observations characterized the karyotype of D27 as 2n=42=21 Ⅱ. Genomic in situ hybridization indicated that a pair of whole-arm translocated Mexico Rye chromosomes were inherited typically in the mitotic and meiosis stages of D27. Experiments using fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH) and gliadin electrophoresis showed that D27 lacked wheat 1DS chromosomes. They were replaced by 1RS chromosomes of Mexico Rye, supported by wheat simple-sequence repeat markers, rye sequence characterized amplified region markers, and wheat 40K SNP array analysis.The wheat 1DS chromosomes could not be detected by molecular markers and wheat SNP array, but the presence of rye 1RS chromosomes was confirmed. Agronomic trait assessments indicated that D27 had a higher tiller number and enhanced stripe rust and powdery mildew resistance. In addition, dough properties analysis showed that replacing 1DS led to higher viscosity and lower dough elasticity in D27, which was beneficial for cake making. In conclusion, the novel cytogenetically stable common wheat–Mexico Rye T1DL·1RS translocation line D27 offers excellent potential as outstanding germplasm in wheat breeding programs focusing on disease resistance and yield improvement. Additionally,it can be valuable for researching the rye 1RS chromosome’s genetic diversity.展开更多
The efficacies of biological and conventional chemical insecticides against two major insect pests of alfalfa(aphids and thrips)were compared in three sites across China’s alfalfa belt.In addition,the persistence of ...The efficacies of biological and conventional chemical insecticides against two major insect pests of alfalfa(aphids and thrips)were compared in three sites across China’s alfalfa belt.In addition,the persistence of the residues of chemical insecticides in alfalfa and their influence on the quality of alfalfa hay were examined.Efficacy varied among the different biological and chemical insecticides.The chemical insecticides were significantly more effective than biopesticides in a short time-frame.The efficacy period of biopesticides was significantly longer than that of chemical insecticides,and the corrected mortality rate of aphids in all regions was above 50%at 14 days after application.The analysis of pesticide residues showed that the residual doses of all the pesticides were within the allowed ranges after the safe period.The acid detergent fiber and neutral detergent fiber contents in alfalfa hay were higher and the protein content was lower in chemical insecticide treatments than in biopesticide treatments in Hebei.The relative feeding value of alfalfa hay treated with Metarhizium anisopliae IPP330189 was the highest among the treatments.Compared with chemical insecticides,the yield of alfalfa hay was higher in the biopesticides treatments.Biopesticides show a stronger control effect on insect populations and also a better improvement in the quality of alfalfa hay than chemical insecticides.This study provides a basis for exploring and developing a comprehensive control regime for alfalfa insect pests in the different alfalfa-growing regions in China,and for reducing chemical insecticide usage and improving forage quality.展开更多
目的探讨改良早期预警评分(modified early warning score,MEWS)联合SBAR[现状(situation)、背景(background)、评估(assessment)、建议(recommendation)]沟通模式在高危新生儿中的应用效果,为临床提供一种有效评估患儿病情变化的沟通...目的探讨改良早期预警评分(modified early warning score,MEWS)联合SBAR[现状(situation)、背景(background)、评估(assessment)、建议(recommendation)]沟通模式在高危新生儿中的应用效果,为临床提供一种有效评估患儿病情变化的沟通方法。方法采用前-后对照研究方法,选取2022年8月至9月入住本院新生儿科病房的高危新生儿270例作为研究对象。以8月入院的高危新生儿为对照组,9月入院的高危新生儿作为试验组,每组分别纳入135例患儿。对照组患儿按照常规护理实施病情观察,试验组患儿在对照组基础采用MEWS联合SBAR沟通模式实施病情观察。比较两组高危新生儿预警事件发生情况,护士预警事件与医生处理事件的一致率,医生对护士工作的满意率。结果两组均完成研究。对照组中63.6%的预警事件是由护士发现,试验组中92.6%的预警事件是由护士发现,两组比较,差异具有统计学意义(χ2=16.622,P<0.001)。试验组护士预警事件与医生处理事件的一致性(Kappa系数=0.926)高于对照组(Kappa系数=0.641);试验组医生对护士在专科知识、抢救应急能力、掌握病情情况、及时观察病情变化、医护配合、工作积极性、沟通能力、心理素质方面的满意率均高于对照组(80.0%~95.0%v30.0%~55.0%),两组比较,差异具有统计学意义(均P<0.05)。结论MEWS与SBAR沟通模式联合应用,有助于护士准确评估患儿病情变化,及时有效完成医护沟通,提高护士观察、沟通和处理能力,也提高了医生对护士工作的满意度。展开更多

文摘目的:探讨胎盘生长因子(placental growth factor,PLGF)、可溶性fms样酪氨酸激酶-1(soluble fms-like tyrosine kinase-1,SFLT-1)和糖基化纤连蛋白(glycosylated fibronectin,GLYFN)检测对子痫前期的预测价值。方法:选择在无锡市妇幼保健院就诊的188例孕妇,分154例正常孕妇(对照组)和34例子痫前期患者(子痫组),应用免疫荧光法分别检测其在孕16~18周血清中PLGF、SFLT-1和GLYFN的浓度,比较子痫前期组和对照组各标志物的水平,并使用受试者操作特征曲线(receiver operating characteristic,ROC)对3种标志物的预测价值进行效能评估。结果:在妊娠中期,子痫前期组血清PLGF浓度低于对照组,SFLT-1及GLYFN浓度均高于对照组,3种标志物的差异均有统计学意义(3指标P=0.000)。95%置信区间的ROC曲线下面积(areas under the ROC curve,AUC)为,PLGF为0.941(0.907~0.974),SFLT-1为0.881(0.800~0.962),GLYFN为0.951(0.918~0.985),联合指标SFLT-1和GLYFN、3项指标联合检测在ROC曲线下面积(areas under the ROC curve,AUC)分别为0.968、0.986。结论:PLGF、SFLT-1、GLYFN 3种标志物水平在对照组和子痫前期组均存在明显差异,对子痫前期的发病具有一定的预测价值,SFLT-1联合PLGF、SFLT-1联合GLYFN、3项指标联合检测对子痫前期的预测价值高于任一单项指标。
