X-ray diffraction (XRD) and nitrogen adsorption-desorption method were used to study the phase and aperture structure o( the prepared catalyst. Infrared (IR) spectra of pyridine adsorbed on the sample showed that the hierarchical zeolite really had much more Bronsted and Lewis acidic sites than the HZSM-5 zeolite. The catalytic cracking of large hydrocarbon molecules showed that the hierarchical zeolite had a higher catalytic activity than the HZSM-5 zeolite.展开更多
