Application of traditional Chinese medicine acupoint needle embedding combined with emotional nursing in patients with gynecological malignant tumors

BACKGROUND Few relevant literature reports on applying acupoint press-needle embedding combined with emotional nursing in patients with a gynecological malignant tumor.AIM To explore the effect of traditional Chinese medicine acupoint needle embedding combined with emotional nursing on chemotherapy-related nausea and vomiting(CINV),cancer-related fatigue(CRF)and psychological state in patients with gynecological malignant tumors.METHODS Retrospective analysis of the clinical information of 84 patients with gynecological malignant tumors treated in our hospital from August 2020 to December 2022 Led to the development of an observation group(n=42)and a control group(n=42)based on various nursing approaches.Ondansetron hydrochloride injection was administered to the individuals in the control group.However,the observation group received emotional nursing based on the control group and acupoint pressneedle embedding of traditional Chinese medicine.Patients in both groups received the chemotherapy regimen of paclitaxel liposome+carbo-platin/cisplatin.For four weeks,both groups intervened.The CINV grade,quality of life,CRF,psychological status and sleep quality scores of the two groups before and RESULTS After intervention,the degree of CINV in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group.After intervention,the scores of each dimension and total score of FLIE scale were significantly higher than those in the control group.After intervention,the scores of each dimension and total score of Piper Fatigue Scale were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of avoidance and yield dimensions in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the scores of confrontation dimension were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the sleep quality score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group,and the Karnofsky Performance Status scale score was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The acupuncture point needle embedding of traditional Chinese medicine combined with emotional nursing can further reduce the incidence of chemotherapy-related nausea and vomiting in patients with gynecological malignant tumors,improve the quality of life and the degree of CRF,alleviate the bad psychological state,adopt a positive way to face the disease and treatment,and improve the quality of sleep and quality of life. 展开更多

[Results] In the 16 S rDNA clone library for endophytic bacteria of P. dindygulensis Miq.,95 clones separately belonged to 46 OTUs,Phylogenetic analysis indicated that these cloning sequences separately belonged to phylum Proteobacteria,phylum Bacteroidetes,phylum Actinobacteria,phylum Nitrospirae,and phylum Gemmatimonadetes. In these,phylum Proteobacteria accounted for 70. 53% of total number of clones,so it was the most dominant group in this library. Numerical Prediction of Wall Effect on Propeller in Restricted Channel

In restricted channel, the hydrodynamic performance of propeller is affected by the wall. In the present work, two cylindrical channels with different diameters being 1.8D and 5.0D are adopted to study the influence of wall on the hydrodynamic performance and wake field of the propeller model DTMB4119. The numerical simulations are carried out by the single-phase solver pimpleDyMFoam in open source platform OpenFOAM. The Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes equations (RANS) are adopted to solve the flow field. The arbitrary mesh interface (AMI) method is used to simulate the rotation of propeller. The designed advance ratio, J = 0.833, is applied in all the computations. For the 5.0 D case, the predicted results of open water performance are in good agreement with experiment data. In restricted channel, the predicted results of thrust and torque coefficients are larger than the open water case. The pressure on the wall of restricted channel downstream increases and approaches the results in open water gradually. Due to the flux conservation, higher negative induced velocity is investigated in the flow field of the propeller in restricted channel. 展开更多

Diversity of Cultivable Actinomycetes in Tropical Rainy Forest of Xishuangbanna, China

In order to obtain much more un-known actinomycetes for discovering new drug lead, one hundred soil samples were collected from five national natural protection areas of tropical rain forests, Mengla, Menglun, Mandian, Xiaomengyang and Guanping, in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, China. 1652 purified cultures of actinobacteria were isolated from these samples by using 5 media. The 16S rRNA gene sequences of 388 selected strains were analyzed, and the phylogenetic analysis was carried out. 35 genera which belong to 8 orders and 14 families of the Class actinobacteria were identified. It is showed from research results that actinomycete diversity in tropical rain forest of Xishuangbanna is the highest comparing with all areas studied in our laboratories before. Selective isolation methods for un-known actinomycetes from soil samples, including medium and inhibitors are discussed in this paper. 展开更多

Electrochemically synthesized nanosphere,nanorod and nanotube Fe_(2)(MoO_(4))_(3) at optimized temperature and current density are characterized with XRD,SEM,TEM,XPS.Crystal lattices of the three types Fe_(2)(MoO_(4))_(3) detected by HRTEM are well matched with the simulation analysis results from Materials Studio 6.0 based on the inorganic crystal structure database(ICSD)data and the modified XRD lattice parameters.The ratios of Fe/Mo on the surface resulted from XPS analysis are 1.47,1.63 and 2.22 respectively for nanosphere,nanorod and nanotube.The mixture of Fe_(2)(MoO_(4))_(3) with polytetrafluoroethylene dispersion are coated on glass carbon substrate as electrode for electrocatalytic performance test by cyclic voltammetries in 0.1 mol/L KOH and 1 mol/L methanol electrolyte.Methanol oxidation peak current density of the Nanotube-Fe_(2)(MoO_(4))_(3)/GCEs electrode is 3.27 mA/cm^(2) higher than 2.8 mA/cm^(2) of platinum foil electrode,which shows enhanced catalytic activity of Nanotube-Fe_(2)(MoO_(4))_(3)/GCEs.The cyclic stability in terms of peak current retention are 91%,92%and 88%respectively for Nanosphere-Fe_(2)(MoO_(4))_(3)/GCE,Nanorod-Fe_(2)(MoO_(4))_(3)/GCE and Nanotube-Fe_(2)(MoO_(4))_(3)/GCE electrode after 220 cycles.It is concluded that nanosized Fe_(2)(MoO_(4))_(3) could be promising alternative non-noble electro-catalysts for electro-oxidation of methanol in alkaline medium. 展开更多
