Antroduodenojejunal manometry was used to monitor gastrointestinal motility in these subjects. After the subjects had fasted for at least 12 h, XBP(n = 30) or placebo(n = 10) was orally administrated and gastrointestinal motility was recorded for 4 h. Plasma motilin and ghrelin were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.RESULTS Oral administration of XBP significantly increased the amplitude of duodenal contractions [19.5(13.0-26.7) vs 16.9(12.3-23.9), P < 0.05], jejunal contractions [18.3(15.3-25.0) vs 15.4(11.7-23.9), P < 0.01], and the motility index of duodenal contractions [522.0(146.0-139.0) vs 281.0(76.5-1006.0), P < 0.01] in phase Ⅱ of the migratory motor complex(MMC), which subsequently initiated the MMC cycle [74.0(30.0-118.0) vs 116.5(24.0-219.0), P < 0.05], shortened the duration of phase I of the MMC [42.0(0.0-90.0) vs 111.5(42.0-171.0), P < 0.01], and lengthened the duration of phase Ⅱ of the MMC [120(21-240) vs 58(16-170), P < 0.01] compared to the duration before XBP administration. There were significant differences in the amplitude of jejunal contractions [19.8(14.0-30.0) vs 18.0(13.0-28.5), P < 0.05], the motility index of duodenal contractions [236.0(115.0-306.0) vs 195.0(109.0-310.0), P < 0.05], and jejunal contractions [214.0(95.0-403.0) vs 178.0(55.0-304.0), P < 0.01] in phase Ⅲ of the MMC. Oral administration of XBP greatly increased plasma motilin(57.69 ± 9.03 vs 49.38 ± 8.63, P < 0.01) and ghrelin(279.20 ± 104.31 vs 238.73 ± 115.59, P < 0.01) concentrations compared to concentrations after oral administration of the placebo.CONCLUSION XBP can stimulate duodenal and jejunal motility and increase the concentrations of plasma motilin and ghrelin. Methods: The procedures for developing the scale included a review of both modern and ancient literature, other perioperative scales or questionnaire references, an expert consultation, and interviews with patients and surgeons following standard procedures. Primary face and content validity were assessed through a small-scale patient survey of 50 patients. A final evaluation based on the patient survey was conducted among 354 patients (age range 16-75) from the same hospital. This included testing the perioperative recovery scale for integrative medicine (PRSIM) for scaling properties, reliability, validity and responsiveness. Results: The PRSIM, a 20-item scale, was modified from an initial version transcript which included 122 items. The 20 items in the PRSIM covered five domains: direct influence, indirect influence, activity, mental function and general health perceptions. Five factors extracted from an exploratory factor analysis demonstrated a desirable model fit. A confirmatory factor analysis further indicated that the PRSIM had a good fit with the same sample. A data analysis of the PRSIM with 349 patients showed that it had good internal consistency (α> 0.7), test-retest reliability (ICC > 0.4) and split half reliability (α= 0.66). Conclusions: The PRSIM can serve as a valuable instrument for assessing patient perioperative recovery in integrative medicine. It is acceptable for patients in the perioperative period undergoing treatment by either Chinese or integrative medicine, and has good psychometric properties. We introduce the development history and principle of the technology and describe the data process flow of our system. The system corrects original data to get a dual-energy transparence image. Material categories of all points in the image are identified by the classification curve, which is related to the X-ray energy spectrum. For the calibration of classification curve, our strategy involves a basic curve calibration and a real-time correction devoted to enhancing the classification accuracy. Image segmentation and denoising methods are applied to smooth the image. The image contains more information after colorization. Some results show that our methods achieve the desired effect.展开更多

Methods The mRNA expressions of chemokine receptors and IL receptors on PBMCs of 93 SLE patients and 30 healthy controls were detected by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction, including CCR2, CCR3, CCR4, CCR5, CCR6, CCR8, CXCR3, CXCR5, CX3CR1, XCR1, IL-4R, and IL-10R. The clinical features of SLE patients were recorded. The correlations of chemokine receptors and IL receptors mRNA expressions with clinical features as well as SLEDAI were assayed using linear regression analysis. Results The level of CCR5 mRNA in SLE patients (including active and inactive SLE) was signifi- cantly higher than that in healthy controls (P〈0.05), and there was no significant difference between active and inactive patients in this respect (P〉0.05). CX3CR1 mRNA expression significantly increased from healthy control to inactive SLE to active SLE in sequence. The others (except for CCR8, CXCR3, and IL-1 OR) in active SLE patients weresignificantly higher than those in both inactive SLE patients and healthy controls (all P〈0.05). There were positive correlations between SLEDAI and CCR2 (r=0.424, t=4.313, P〈0.001), CCR3 (r=0.518, t=5.410, P〈0.001), CCR4 (r=0.376, t=3.851, P〈0.001), CCR6 (r=0.457, t=4.513,P〈0.001), CXCR5 (r=0.455, t=4.629, P〈0.001), CX3CR1 (r=0.44-5, t=4.523, P〈0.001), as well as XCRI (r=0.540, t=5.445, P〈0.001). And CCR5 mRNA expression level was positively correlated with IL-4R mRNA (r=0.313, t=2.353, P〈0.05). The patients with myositis and cutaneous vasculitis simultaneously showed lower levels of CCR5 and CX3CRI, and CCR5 expression was negatively correlated with the scores of SLEDAI in SLE cases accompanied by photosensitivity (r=0.426, t=- 2.155, P〈0.05). Conclusion Increased expressions of CCR5 and CX3CRI on PBMCs may be indicators in clinical survey for SLE.展开更多

The active bases with two different sets of resistor chains were tested and compared by a frequency-controlled green straw hat LED light. A stable signal output up to 100 kHz is achieved using frequency-controlled LED pulsed light. The temperature of bases, which reflects the power consumption and is crucial for applications in vacuum, is also monitored with the same LED pulsed light. The temperature of the active base with smaller resistances reaches about twice of that of the active base with larger resistances in the resistor chain. For the applications in vacuum, the active base with resistance between the two sets of resistor chains may be preferable.展开更多

The distributions of dose rate and scattering gamma spectrum are the main simulation objects with the variable physical structures of MRR and the dosimeters as parameters that are to be calibrated. Further, the influences on the reference radiation caused by these parameters are analyzed in detail. This work provides a theoretical basis for better understanding of MRR used for calibration of gamma personal dosimeters. This analysis can help in the development of a calibration technology for such tools based on MRR.展开更多

At 4 h after reperfusion, the serum concentration of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), creatine kinase (CK) and the tissue MDA concentration and SOD activity were measured. The infarcte size was measured by TTC staining. Apoptosis in heart sections were measured by TUNEL staining. The expression of HMGB1 and IL-17A were detected by Western Blotting and the expression of TNF-α and IL-6 were detected by Elisa. Results: After 4 h reperfusion, compared with the I/R group, IL-23 significantly increased the infarct size, the apoptosis of cardiomyocytes and the levels of LDH and CK. Meanwhile, IL-23 significantly increased the expression of eIL-17A, TNF-α and IL-6 and enhanced both the increase of the MDA level and the decrease of the SOD level induced by I/R. IL-23 had no effect on the expression of HMGB1. All these effects were abolished by anti-IL-23 administration. Conclusion: The present study suggested that IL-23 may promote myocardial I/R injury by increasing the inflammatory responses and oxidative stress reaction.展开更多

A Neutron Time-of-Flight(NTOF)spectrometer was developed for the study of neutron production from spallation reactions related to the ADS project. The experiments of 400 MeV/u ^(16)O bombarded on a tungsten target were presented using a NTOF spectrometer.Neutron yields for 250 MeV protons incident on a thick grain-made tungsten target and a thick solid lead target have been measured using the water-bath neutron activation method. Spallation residual productions were studied by bombarding W and Pb targets with a 250 MeV proton beam using the neutron activation method. Benchmarking of evaluated nuclear data libraries was performed for D-T neutrons on ADS relevant materials by using the benchmark experimental facility at the China Institute of Atomic Energy.
文摘Purpose: The aim of this study is to develop and validate a scale for perioperative recovery with integrative medicine. 文摘High-energy dual-energy X-ray digital radiography imaging is mainly used in the material recognition of cargo inspection. Some results show that our methods achieve the desired effect.
文摘BACKGROUND Interdigestive migrating motor complexes(MMC)produce periodic contractions in the gastrointestinal tract, but the exact mechanism of action still remains unclear.Intramuscular interstitial cells of Cajal(ICC-IM)participate in gastrointestinal hormone and neuromodulation, but the correlation between ICCIM and MMC is also unclear. We found that xiangbinfang granules(XBF)mediated the phase III contraction of MMC.Here, the effects of XBF on gastric antrum motility in W/Wv mice and the effects of ICC-IM on gastric antrum MMC are reported.AIM To observe the effects of ICC-IM on gastric antrum motility and to establish the mechanism of XBF in promoting gastric antrum motility.METHODS The density of c-kit-positive ICC myenteric plexus(ICC-MP)and ICC-IM in the antral muscularis of W/Wv and wild-type(WT)mice was examined by confocal microscopy. The effects of XBF on gastric antrum slow waves in W/Wv and WT mice were recorded by intracellular amplification recording.Micro-strain-gauge force transducers were implanted into the gastric antrum to monitor the MMC and the effect of XBF on gastric antrum motility in conscious W/Wv and WT mice.RESULTS In the gastric antrum of W/Wv mice,c-kit immunoreactivity was significantly reduced, and no ICC-IM network was observed.Spontaneous rhythmic slow waves also appeared in the antrum of W/Wv mice, but the amplitude of the antrum slow wave decreased significantly in W/Wv mice(22.62±2.23 mV vs 2.92±0.52 mV,P<0.0001).MMCs were found in 7 of the 8 WT mice but no complete MMC cycle was found in W/Wv mice. The contractile frequency and amplitude index of the gastric antrum were significantly increased in conscious WT compared to W/Wv mice(frequency,3.53±0.18 cpm vs 1.28±0.12 cpm;amplitude index,23014.26±1798.65 mV·20 min vs 3782.16±407.13 mV·20 min;P<0.0001).XBF depolarized smooth muscle cells of the gastric antrum in WT and W/Wv mice in a dose-dependent manner.Similarly, the gastric antrum motility in WT mice was significantly increased after treatment with XBF 5 mg(P<0.05).Atropine(0.1 mg/kg)blocked the enhancement of XBF in WT and W/Wv mice completely, while tetrodotoxin(0.05 mg/kg)partially inhibited the enhancement by XBF.CONCLUSION ICC-IM participates in the regulation of gastric antrum MMC in mice.XBF induces MMC III-like contractions that enhance gastric antrum motility via ICCIM in mice.

文摘A newly developed digital data acquisition system, which is based on the digital pulse processor Pixie-16 modules by XIA LLC,was tested with the c-ray detector array of the China Institute of Atomic Energy using the cray source and in-beam c-rays.A comparison between this digital data acquisition system and the conventional analog data acquisition system was made.At a low count rate, both systems exhibit good and comparable energy resolutions. At a high count rate above 8.8 k/s,while the energy resolution obtained by the analog system deteriorates significantly, the energy resolution obtained by the digital system is nearly unchanged.Meanwhile, experimental data with higher statistics can be collected by the digital system. The advantage of this digital system over the conventional analog system can be ascribed to its excellent capability of handling pile-up pulses at higher count rates, and the fact that it has nearly no dead time in data transmission and conversion.

文摘Objective To investigate the expressions of chemokine receptors and interleukin (IL) receptors on the peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients and their correlations with clinical features as well as SLE disease activity index (SLEDAI). Conclusion Increased expressions of CCR5 and CX3CRI on PBMCs may be indicators in clinical survey for SLE.
文摘Choledochal cysts(CCs),first described by Vater and Ezler in 1723,are rare congenital cystic dilations of biliary tract[1].The most widely adopted classification system from Todani et al.divides CCs into five major types and several subtypes[2].Almost all of the CCs are type I and type IV-A,while type IV-B is extremely rare[3,4].The accurate diagnosis and precise categorization of CCs are crucial for surgeons to perform proper operative strategy.
文摘Renal cell cancer(RCC)remains one of the most lethal types of cancer in adults.Micro RNAs(mi RNAs)play key roles in the pathogenesis of RCC.The role of mi R-206 in RCC has not been fully understood. The purpose of this study was to examine the role of mi R-206 in the regulation of proliferation and metastasis of RCC and the possible mechanism.mi R-206 expression was detected by reverse transcription?quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-q PCR)in RCC cell lines(786-O and OS-RC-2 cells)and clinical samples.MTS[3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-5-(3-carboxymethoxyphenyl)-2-(4-sulfophenyl)-2H-tetrazolium]method,colony formation and transwell assay were used to detect the tumor-suppressing ability of mi R-206 in RCC.Luciferase assay was performed to verify the precise target of mi R-206.The results showed that the expression of mi R-206 was significantly down-regulated in RCC tissues and cells. The expression level of cyclin G-associated kinase(GAK),a master regulator of tumor proliferation and metastasis, was up-regulated with the decrease in mi R-206 in RCC tissues as well as RCC cell lines. In addition, the mi R-206 inhibitor promoted the proliferation, migration and invasion of 786-O and OS-RC-2 cells.Bioinformatics combined with luciferase and Western blot assays revealed that mi R-206 inhibited the expression of GAK.Moreover,mi R-206 regulates RCC cell growth partly through targeting GAK.Our study indicated that mi R-206 functions as a tumor suppressor in regulating the proliferation, migration and invasion of RCC by directly targeting GAK,and it holds promises as a potential therapeutic target for RCC.

文摘Hamamatsu R1924A is one of the most widely used photomultiplier tubes(PMTs) in nuclear physics.Since the active base suitable for R1924A is still not available in market, an active base is designed for Hamamatsu R1924A PMT, and the test results at high counting rates are presented. For the applications in vacuum, the active base with resistance between the two sets of resistor chains may be preferable.

文摘An investigation using Monte Carlo simulation on a minitype reference radiation(MRR) for the calibration of gamma personal dosimeters is reported. This analysis can help in the development of a calibration technology for such tools based on MRR.

文摘Objective: To investigate the effect of interleukin-23 (IL-23) on myocardial ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury. Methods: Male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly assigned into sham operated control (SO) group, ischemia and reperfusion (I/R) group, (IL-23 + I/R) group and (anti-IL-23 + I/R) group. Conclusion: The present study suggested that IL-23 may promote myocardial I/R injury by increasing the inflammatory responses and oxidative stress reaction.
