Provoking Buying Behaviors Amid Crises:Unfolding the Underlying Mechanisms of Psychological Impairments

Crises in the past have caused devastating,long-lasting impacts on the global economy.The after-effects always bring some dynamic and rigorous challenges for businesses and governments.Such challenges have always been a point of discussion for scholars.The recent COVID-19 pandemic emaciated the global economy,leaving everyone mired in uncertainty,fear,and psychological impairments.One of the headwind features utilized by consumers during pandemic was panic buying(PB),which must be explored in various contexts for policymakers and practitioners.To address this gap,this study deployed a moderated mediation mechanism,integrating the health belief model(HBM)and competitive arousal theory(CAT)to excavate the notions underlying PB with the intrusion of evolved real-time psychological disorders:intolerance of uncertainty(IU)and cyberchondria(CYC).The study was conducted as a natural experiment in a South Asian developing economy using online surveys.It found that health beliefs—perceived severity(PSV)and perceived susceptibility(PSC)—positively impact perceived arousal(PA),which causes PB,and that PA has a sturdy mediator role.Moreover,in the relationship between health beliefs and arousal,the different psychological disorders were found to have significant moderating roles The study findings can help mitigate risk uncertainties and panic situations and thus contribute to consumers’wellbeing.

Improved Epicanthus Correction Combined with Double Eyelid Surgery

Objective:To explore the clinical effect of improved epicanthus correction combined with double eyelid surgery.Methods:From February 2019 to February 2020,70 patients with epicanthus who underwent surgical treatment were treated as study participants.The computer 1:1 grouping method was adopted.Thirty-five patients in the reference group were treated with epicanthus correction,and 35 patients in the experimental group were treated with improved epicanthus correction combined with double eyelid surgery.The operation efiect was compared.Results:The satisfaction scores of morphological aesthetics and prognosis recovery in the experimental group were higher than those in the reference group(P<0.05).The recurrence rate of scar hyperplasia and epicanthus in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The improved epicanthus correction combined with double eyelid surgery can engender ideal correction effect and reduce postoperative adverse outcomes.Therefore,the combined operation scheme is feasible.

Optimization of Extraction of Saponins from Tribulus terrestris L.

To promote the recovery of saponins from Tribulus terrestris L.,the water dissolution and ethanol precipitation method was adopted to extract saponins from the powder prepared from T.terrestris fruit.The optimal process was to extract with 9 fold of the extracting water at the ethanol concentration of 85 for 3 times,each time 3.5 h.The effects of the factors ranked as the extracting water quantity > treatment time > treatment times > ethanol concentration.Under these optimal conditions,the recovery of saponins was 2.81%.After these crude saponins were purified by D101 macroporous adsorptive resin,the purity was found to be promoted through the UV scanning method,and the recovery of the refined saponins was up to 1.53%.Both of the recovery values were higher than that of the existing process.

四川盆地中侏罗统沙溪庙组天然气地球化学特征及成因

四川盆地中侏罗统沙溪庙组是低油价形势下四川盆地天然气勘探的重要领域,但盆地内不同地区天然气来源尚不明确,影响下一步勘探部署决策,为此开展侏罗系沙溪庙组天然气地球化学特征及成因研究。结果表明:(1)沙溪庙组天然气属于干酪根降解气,甲烷含量>84%,含少量乙烷、丙烷等烃类气体及少量的氮气、二氧化碳等非烃气体,不含硫化氢,不同区域的天然气成熟度存在差别;(2)天然气δ^(13)C_(1)值为-39.2‰~-31.2‰、δ^(13)C_(2)值为-32.8‰~-22.3‰、δ^(13)C3值为-28.7‰~-19.5‰,天然气碳同位素未发生倒转,川西地区为煤成气,川中地区为油型气,川东地区为煤成气和油型气混合气,以油型气为主;(3)不同区域天然气δ^(13)C_(1)值、δ^(13)C_(2)值的差异,与其来源于不同类型烃源岩贡献比例大小有关。川西、川西南地区主力烃源岩为须五段煤系烃源岩,川中地区为下侏罗统湖相烃源岩,川东地区天然气来源于须五段和下侏罗统烃源岩。研究结果对四川盆地侏罗系沙溪庙组下一步天然气勘探部署决策具有重要的指导意义。

政府直接干预与内部人交易

本文利用2011—2018年我国A股市场内部人交易数据,研究“国家队”持股这一典型的政府干预行为对内部人交易的影响。结果表明,“国家队”进入后,内部人交易的超额收益显著提高;内部人基于信息优势的策略性交易是“国家队”持股影响其交易收益的主要原因,“国家队”持股对内部人收益的影响在信息环境较差的公司中更强。进一步分析发现,“国家队”持股同时推动了行业和公司层面的股价上涨,显著提高了内部人交易的成功率和获利水平。
