The combination of different nanostructures can hinder phonons transmission in a wide frequency range and further reduce the thermal conductivity(TC).This will benefit the improvement and application of thermoelectric...The combination of different nanostructures can hinder phonons transmission in a wide frequency range and further reduce the thermal conductivity(TC).This will benefit the improvement and application of thermoelectric conversion,insulating materials and thermal barrier coatings,etc.In this work,the effects of nanopillars and Ge nanoparticles(GNPs)on the thermal transport of Si nanowire(SN)are investigated by nonequilibrium molecular dynamics(NEMD)simulation.By analyzing phonons transport behaviors,it is confirmed that the introduction of nanopillars leads to the occurrence of lowfrequency phonons resonance,and nanoparticles enhance high-frequency phonons interface scattering and localization.The results show that phonons transport in the whole frequency range can be strongly hindered by the simultaneous introduction of nanopillars and nanoparticles.In addition,the effects of system length,temperature,sizes and numbers of nanoparticles on the TC are investigated.Our work provides useful insights into the effective regulation of the TC of nanomaterials.展开更多

One of the most extensively used methods in PD detection has historically been the ultrahigh fre...Partial discharge(PD) detection is an effective means of discovering insulation faults in gas-insulated switchgear(GIS). One of the most extensively used methods in PD detection has historically been the ultrahigh frequency(UHF) method. This study evaluates the chromatic processing methodology and its key factors for feature extraction of UHF signals in GIS. Three types of artificial defects are installed in the GIS tank at 0°, 90°, and 180°, respectively. The features of the UHF signals are extracted in the chromatic space, and PD discrimination of the defects is achieved. The influences of processors are studied before the feature selections are suggested. The time-stepping method is proposed to determine the rules of UHF signal frequency characteristics that vary with time. Finally, the process and options of the chromatics-inspired methodology are summarized.展开更多
Objective:Complex ureteral obstruction is refractory to conventional urological intervention.This report describes a case of laparoscopic ureterolysis with simultaneous ureteroscopy and percutaneous nephroscopy for tr...Objective:Complex ureteral obstruction is refractory to conventional urological intervention.This report describes a case of laparoscopic ureterolysis with simultaneous ureteroscopy and percutaneous nephroscopy for treating complex ureteral obstruction.Methods:Right-side multiple ureteral stones and complicating ureteral obstruction failed an initial attempt of ureteroscopy lithotripsy with simultaneous percutaneous nephroscopy in a 23-year-old male.Laparoscopic ureterolysis with ureteroscopy and percutaneous nephroscopy was used simultaneously to dissect the periureteral adhesions with the patient placed in the Galdakao-modified supine Valdivia position.The ureter was incised to allow the insertion of a ureteral catheter through the twisted ureter,and a guide wire was advanced into the pelvis using ureteroscopy.A double-J stent was placed into the right-side ureter using antegrade percutaneous nephroscopy.Results:The laparoendoscopic procedure lasted 330 min with an estimated bleeding volume of 100 mL.The patient underwent an uneventful postoperative course,and postoperative followup radiography confirmed good positioning of the double-J stent.The double-J stent was removed 3 months after operation.The patient remained asymptomatic within a 13-month follow-up period.Conclusion:Laparoscopic ureterolysis with simultaneous ureteroscopy and percutaneous nephroscopy is an effective and safe treatment option for complex ureteral obstruction.展开更多

Split plot experiment was adopted. Two types of phosphorus fertilizer( adding humic acid or not) was assigned to the main plot,and four types of top dressing modes( different amount of urea and humic acid urea) were used in subplots. Effects of combined application of humic acid and urea on the wheat yield and yield component were researched. 375 kg / ha ordinary DAP + 150 kg / ha urea was used as base fertilizer; topdressing of 300 kg / ha urea humate could effectively promote the plant height,leaf area coefficient and aboveground dry matter amount. Adding humic acid in urea in topdressing significantly enhanced the wheat yield and economic coefficient of wheat. Adding humic acid in urea in topdressing has better effects of yield increasing than base fertilizer,and can be used for large scale extension.展开更多

Objective Appropriate medical imaging is important for value-based care.We aim to evaluate the performance of generative pretrained transformer 4(GPT-4),an innovative natural language processing model,providing approp...Objective Appropriate medical imaging is important for value-based care.We aim to evaluate the performance of generative pretrained transformer 4(GPT-4),an innovative natural language processing model,providing appropriate medical imaging automatically in different clinical scenarios.Methods Institutional Review Boards(IRB)approval was not required due to the use of nonidentifiable data.Instead,we used 112 questions from the American College of Radiology(ACR)Radiology-TEACHES Program as prompts,which is an open-sourced question and answer program to guide appropriate medical imaging.We included 69 free-text case vignettes and 43 simplified cases.For the performance evaluation of GPT-4 and GPT-3.5,we considered the recommendations of ACR guidelines as the gold standard,and then three radiologists analyzed the consistency of the responses from the GPT models with those of the ACR.We set a five-score criterion for the evaluation of the consistency.A paired t-test was applied to assess the statistical significance of the findings.Results For the performance of the GPT models in free-text case vignettes,the accuracy of GPT-4 was 92.9%,whereas the accuracy of GPT-3.5 was just 78.3%.GPT-4 can provide more appropriate suggestions to reduce the overutilization of medical imaging than GPT-3.5(t=3.429,P=0.001).For the performance of the GPT models in simplified scenarios,the accuracy of GPT-4 and GPT-3.5 was 66.5%and 60.0%,respectively.The differences were not statistically significant(t=1.858,P=0.070).GPT-4 was characterized by longer reaction times(27.1 s in average)and extensive responses(137.1 words on average)than GPT-3.5.Conclusion As an advanced tool for improving value-based healthcare in clinics,GPT-4 may guide appropriate medical imaging accurately and efficiently。展开更多

Here we report a 75-m-long sediment core over past 120 kyr based on astronomical...Paleoclimate changes during the last glacial in the arid central Asia are not as well understood as the monsoon-dominated areas of Asia. Here we report a 75-m-long sediment core over past 120 kyr based on astronomical tuning combined with the optically stimulated luminescence(OSL) dating in the Kashi depression of the western Tarim Basin, Northwest China. Analysis of grain size and highresolution gamma ray(GR) logs from the KT11 borehole across the last glacial period yields a climate history for the Tarim Basin which reflects the variations of its temperature and the hydrological cycles. Comparison of these records with north hemisphere summer insolation, the Greenland ice core temperature, stalagmites and the loess from the nearby region indicates that the deposits in the fluvio-lacustrine system of the Kashi depression responded to climate change at the Younger Dryas(YD), six Heinrich cooling events and the Dansgaard-Oeschger cycles. Our work indicates that the alternations between warm-humid and cold-dry climates were prevalent in the western Tarim Basin during the last glacial period, showing an in-phase pattern with the climate variations of the East Asian Monsoon, controlled ultimately by precession and North Atlantic Ocean climate variability on orbital-millennial time scales.展开更多

Through a 3 x 3 orthogonal design and parameter measurements of soybean peptide and antinutritional factor co...In order to increase nutritive values of soybean meal(SBM), 3 species of microbes were used to ferment SBM. Through a 3 x 3 orthogonal design and parameter measurements of soybean peptide and antinutritional factor contents in the fermented soybean meal(FSBM), it was estimated that the best microbial proportion of Bacillus subtilis, Hansenula anomala and Lactobacillus casei was 2:1:2 for SBM fermentation(P < 0.05). The further piglet feeding experiment showed that 10% FSBM substitute for SBM had no significant effect on growth performance of suckling piglets(d 7-28)(P> 0.05). However, newlyweaned piglets(d 28-38) fed 10% FSBM and different levels of plasma protein obtained higher average daily gain(ADG) and feed conversion ratio(FCR), compared with those without FSBM but with 6% plasma protein(P < 0.05). Piglets(d 38-68) fed diets supplemented with FSBM and soybean protein concentrate(SBPC) at 3.75% and 7.5% respectively increased nutrient digestibility,fecal enzyme activity and lactic acid bacteria counts, and decreased fecal Escherichia coli counts(P < 0.05), compared with the control. These data indicated that FSBM had positive effects on nutrient digestibility and fecal microflora for piglets.展开更多
Nearly 90% of the Ediacaran Period(635–541 Ma) of the Neoproterozoic is represented by the Doushantuo Formation(DST Fm) in South China.Its lowest Member I is a 3.7 m-thick cap carbonate deposited at the termination o...Nearly 90% of the Ediacaran Period(635–541 Ma) of the Neoproterozoic is represented by the Doushantuo Formation(DST Fm) in South China.Its lowest Member I is a 3.7 m-thick cap carbonate deposited at the termination of the Cryogenian Marinoan glaciation.The DST Fm consists of alternating organic-rich black shale and thinly bedded dolostone, and it contains some of the oldest records of multicellular life and three pronounced negative carbon isotope excursions.The Jiulongwan(JLW) section is a well-studied reference section for these Ediacaran events.Spectral analysis of geochemical data through the lower DST Fm(22.3 m) shows 27 predominant ~90 cm sedimentary cycles that correspond to 405-ka long eccentricity cycles.The power spectra of the 405-ka tuned Ca and Fe/Ti series show significant peaks at ~1.2-Ma, 405-ka, 133-ka, 128-ka, 100-ka, 82-ka, ~31-ka and 29-ka periods, respectively.A 11.16 Malong astronomical time scale has been constructed for the lower DST Fm and provide a duration of 1.6 Ma for the cap carbonate(Member Ⅰ) based on the 405-ka long eccentricity cycle tuning.Using the U-Pb age of 635.2 ± 0.6 Ma for the volcanic ash bed at the Member Ⅰ/Ⅱboundary, we proposed a 636.8 Ma age for the base of the DST Fm.These ages and astronomical timescale provide important new constraints on the subdivision of Ediacaran strata, and have implications for understanding the character of the first negative δ^(13)C excursion(EN1).Orbital forcing may have been played an important role for the climate changes and the evolution of Ediacaran multi-cellular life and the carbon cycle variations.展开更多

The influences of different dietary lipid sources on growth performance, nutr...Different lipid sources differ in the fatty acid profiles and differently affect growth performance as well as immune function of broilers. The influences of different dietary lipid sources on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, blood T lymphocyte population, and cardiac antioxidant status were investigated of broilers. A total of 360 one-day-old male broilers(BW = 44 ± 3 g) were randomized into 3 treatment groups, consisting of 6 replicates with 20 birds in each group. Broilers received standard diets supplemented with 5%(wt/wt) of lard(LD, as a control diet), sesame oil(SO), or flaxseed oil(FO).Broilers in both SO and FO treatment groups had lower(P < 0.05) feed conversion ratios from 22 to 42 d and during the overall phase compared to those in LD treatment group. Meanwhile, the apparent total tract nutrient digestibility of crude fat in SO and FO treatment groups was higher than that in LD treatment group. Both FO and SO treatments decreased(P < 0.05) abdominal fat percentage compared to LD treatment. Total triglycerides and total cholesterol in chicken blood were decreased(P < 0.05) by SO and FO treatments compared to LD treatment. Feeding broilers with FO and SO led to a decrease(P < 0.05) in blood CD4^+ T lymphocyte count and in CD4^+:CD8^+ ratio compared to LD treatment.Sesame oil and FO treatments increased cardiac glutathione peroxidase(P < 0.05) compared to LD treatment. It is concluded that addition of 5% SO and FO to the standard corn-soybean meal diet improved feed efficiency, increased the activities of cardiac glutathione peroxidase, and affected the T lymphocytes ratio of fast growing broilers.展开更多

文摘Objective Appropriate medical imaging is important for value-based care.We aim to evaluate the performance of generative pretrained transformer 4(GPT-4),an innovative natural language processing model,providing appropriate medical imaging automatically in different clinical scenarios.Methods Institutional Review Boards(IRB)approval was not required due to the use of nonidentifiable data.Instead,we used 112 questions from the American College of Radiology(ACR)Radiology-TEACHES Program as prompts,which is an open-sourced question and answer program to guide appropriate medical imaging.We included 69 free-text case vignettes and 43 simplified cases.For the performance evaluation of GPT-4 and GPT-3.5,we considered the recommendations of ACR guidelines as the gold standard,and then three radiologists analyzed the consistency of the responses from the GPT models with those of the ACR.We set a five-score criterion for the evaluation of the consistency.A paired t-test was applied to assess the statistical significance of the findings.Results For the performance of the GPT models in free-text case vignettes,the accuracy of GPT-4 was 92.9%,whereas the accuracy of GPT-3.5 was just 78.3%.GPT-4 can provide more appropriate suggestions to reduce the overutilization of medical imaging than GPT-3.5(t=3.429,P=0.001).For the performance of the GPT models in simplified scenarios,the accuracy of GPT-4 and GPT-3.5 was 66.5%and 60.0%,respectively.The differences were not statistically significant(t=1.858,P=0.070).GPT-4 was characterized by longer reaction times(27.1 s in average)and extensive responses(137.1 words on average)than GPT-3.5.Conclusion As an advanced tool for improving value-based healthcare in clinics,GPT-4 may guide appropriate medical imaging accurately and efficiently。

文摘Sorafenib therapy improves overall survival(OS)in patients with FLT3 internal tandem duplication(ITD)acute myeloid leukemia(AML)undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.We explored the efficacy of sorafenib therapy in this population with different concomitant genetic patterns.In this multi-center,cohort study,we enrolled patients with FLT3-ITD AML undergoing allogenic hematopoietic cell transplantation.Patients with sorafenib maintenance post-transplantation for at least four weeks were allocated to the sorafenib group,and otherwise to the control group.

文摘Paleoclimate changes during the last glacial in the arid central Asia are not as well understood as the monsoon-dominated areas of Asia. Here we report a 75-m-long sediment core over past 120 kyr based on astronomical tuning combined with the optically stimulated luminescence(OSL) dating in the Kashi depression of the western Tarim Basin, Northwest China. Analysis of grain size and highresolution gamma ray(GR) logs from the KT11 borehole across the last glacial period yields a climate history for the Tarim Basin which reflects the variations of its temperature and the hydrological cycles. Comparison of these records with north hemisphere summer insolation, the Greenland ice core temperature, stalagmites and the loess from the nearby region indicates that the deposits in the fluvio-lacustrine system of the Kashi depression responded to climate change at the Younger Dryas(YD), six Heinrich cooling events and the Dansgaard-Oeschger cycles. Our work indicates that the alternations between warm-humid and cold-dry climates were prevalent in the western Tarim Basin during the last glacial period, showing an in-phase pattern with the climate variations of the East Asian Monsoon, controlled ultimately by precession and North Atlantic Ocean climate variability on orbital-millennial time scales.

文摘We report the Lewis acid catalysis of aryldiazonium salts,and their Lewis acidity applications in photogeneration of aryl radicals under additive-,photocatalyst-and transition metal-free conditions.In this visible light-mediated transformation,the Lewis acidic character of aryldiazonium salts enables access to the photoactive charge transfer complex with dichalcogenides.The usefulness and versatility of this new protocol are demonstrated through the chalcogenation of a variety of aryldiazonium salts.

文摘Photoredox-catalyzed hydrodifluoromethylation of alkenes has become an effective method to introduce difluoromethyl group into organic molecules.As the reported methods involve either photocatalysts or superstoichiometric amounts of additives,we herein describe a simple alternative without using photocatalyst or additive for the hydrodifluoromethylation of alkenes,through photoactivation of difluoromethyltriphenylphosphonium iodide salt.Mechanistic studies shed light on how the transformation takes place.
文摘In order to increase nutritive values of soybean meal(SBM), 3 species of microbes were used to ferment SBM. Through a 3 x 3 orthogonal design and parameter measurements of soybean peptide and antinutritional factor contents in the fermented soybean meal(FSBM), it was estimated that the best microbial proportion of Bacillus subtilis, Hansenula anomala and Lactobacillus casei was 2:1:2 for SBM fermentation(P < 0.05). The further piglet feeding experiment showed that 10% FSBM substitute for SBM had no significant effect on growth performance of suckling piglets(d 7-28)(P> 0.05). However, newlyweaned piglets(d 28-38) fed 10% FSBM and different levels of plasma protein obtained higher average daily gain(ADG) and feed conversion ratio(FCR), compared with those without FSBM but with 6% plasma protein(P < 0.05). Piglets(d 38-68) fed diets supplemented with FSBM and soybean protein concentrate(SBPC) at 3.75% and 7.5% respectively increased nutrient digestibility,fecal enzyme activity and lactic acid bacteria counts, and decreased fecal Escherichia coli counts(P < 0.05), compared with the control. These data indicated that FSBM had positive effects on nutrient digestibility and fecal microflora for piglets.

文摘Nearly 90% of the Ediacaran Period(635–541 Ma) of the Neoproterozoic is represented by the Doushantuo Formation(DST Fm) in South China.Its lowest Member I is a 3.7 m-thick cap carbonate deposited at the termination of the Cryogenian Marinoan glaciation.The DST Fm consists of alternating organic-rich black shale and thinly bedded dolostone, and it contains some of the oldest records of multicellular life and three pronounced negative carbon isotope excursions.The Jiulongwan(JLW) section is a well-studied reference section for these Ediacaran events.Spectral analysis of geochemical data through the lower DST Fm(22.3 m) shows 27 predominant ~90 cm sedimentary cycles that correspond to 405-ka long eccentricity cycles.The power spectra of the 405-ka tuned Ca and Fe/Ti series show significant peaks at ~1.2-Ma, 405-ka, 133-ka, 128-ka, 100-ka, 82-ka, ~31-ka and 29-ka periods, respectively.A 11.16 Malong astronomical time scale has been constructed for the lower DST Fm and provide a duration of 1.6 Ma for the cap carbonate(Member Ⅰ) based on the 405-ka long eccentricity cycle tuning.Using the U-Pb age of 635.2 ± 0.6 Ma for the volcanic ash bed at the Member Ⅰ/Ⅱboundary, we proposed a 636.8 Ma age for the base of the DST Fm.These ages and astronomical timescale provide important new constraints on the subdivision of Ediacaran strata, and have implications for understanding the character of the first negative δ^(13)C excursion(EN1).Orbital forcing may have been played an important role for the climate changes and the evolution of Ediacaran multi-cellular life and the carbon cycle variations.

文摘Different lipid sources differ in the fatty acid profiles and differently affect growth performance as well as immune function of broilers. The influences of different dietary lipid sources on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, blood T lymphocyte population, and cardiac antioxidant status were investigated of broilers. A total of 360 one-day-old male broilers(BW = 44 ± 3 g) were randomized into 3 treatment groups, consisting of 6 replicates with 20 birds in each group. Broilers received standard diets supplemented with 5%(wt/wt) of lard(LD, as a control diet), sesame oil(SO), or flaxseed oil(FO).Broilers in both SO and FO treatment groups had lower(P < 0.05) feed conversion ratios from 22 to 42 d and during the overall phase compared to those in LD treatment group. Meanwhile, the apparent total tract nutrient digestibility of crude fat in SO and FO treatment groups was higher than that in LD treatment group. Both FO and SO treatments decreased(P < 0.05) abdominal fat percentage compared to LD treatment. Total triglycerides and total cholesterol in chicken blood were decreased(P < 0.05) by SO and FO treatments compared to LD treatment. Feeding broilers with FO and SO led to a decrease(P < 0.05) in blood CD4^+ T lymphocyte count and in CD4^+:CD8^+ ratio compared to LD treatment.Sesame oil and FO treatments increased cardiac glutathione peroxidase(P < 0.05) compared to LD treatment. It is concluded that addition of 5% SO and FO to the standard corn-soybean meal diet improved feed efficiency, increased the activities of cardiac glutathione peroxidase, and affected the T lymphocytes ratio of fast growing broilers.

文摘While N-alkenoxypyridinium salts are widely used for the synthesis ofα-functionalized ketones via umpolung strategy,such approaches are usually limited to special nucleophiles at high temperatures.Herein,we developed an alternative photoinduced N-heterocyclic carbene(NHC)-mediated functionalization of N-alkenoxypyridinium salts with various nucleophiles,including tetramethylammonium azide,secondary amines,aryl and alkyl thiols,and even the challenging C(sp^(3))-nucleophiles,under mild conditions.A cascade radical-radical coupling/nucleophilic substitution sequence was proposed,wherein the NHC enabled the formation of a photoactive electron donor-acceptor complex forα-iodo ketone synthesis.
