Using public Frequency Modulati...Location-Based Services have become an indispensable part of our daily life, the sparsity of location finding makes it possible to estimate specific position by Compressive Sensing(CS). Using public Frequency Modulation(FM) broadcasting and Digital Television Terrestrial Multimedia Broadcasting(DTMB) signals, this paper presents an indoor positioning scheme, which is consisted of an offline stage and an online stage. In the offline stage, the Received Signal Strength(RSS) at the Reference Points(RPs) is measured, including the average and variance of public FM broadcasting and DTMB signals. In the online stage, the K-Weighted Nearest Neighbor algorithm is used to fulfill coarse positioning, which is able to narrow the selection scope of locations and choose partial RPs for accurate positioning. Then, the accurate positioning is implemented through CS. Experiment shows that the average positioning error of the proposed scheme is 1.63 m. What’s more, a CS-based method has been proposed in this paper to reduce the labor cost when collecting data. Experiment shows the average positioning error is 2.04 m, with the advantage of a 34% labor cost reduction. Experiment results indicate that the proposed system is a practical indoor positioning scheme.展开更多
Energetic electron measurements and spacecraft charging are of great significance for theoretical research in space physics and space weather applications.In this paper,the energetic electron detection package(EEDP)de...Energetic electron measurements and spacecraft charging are of great significance for theoretical research in space physics and space weather applications.In this paper,the energetic electron detection package(EEDP)deployed on three Chinese navigation satellites in medium Earth orbit(MEO)is reviewed.The instrument was developed by the space science payload team led by Peking University.The EEDP includes a pinhole medium-energy electron spectrometer(MES),a high-energy electron detector(HED)based onΔE-E telescope technology,and a deep dielectric charging monitor(DDCM).The MES measures the energy spectra of 50−600 keV electrons from nine directions with a 180°×30°field of view(FOV).The HED measures the energy spectrum of 0.5−3.0 MeV electrons from one direction with a 30°cone-angle FOV.The ground test and calibration results indicate that these three sensors exhibit excellent performance.Preliminary observations show that the electron spectra measured by the MES and HED are in good agreement with the results from the magnetic electron-ion spectrometer(MagEIS)of the Van Allen Probes spacecraft,with an average relative deviation of 27.3%for the energy spectra.The charging currents and voltages measured by the DDCM during storms are consistent with the highenergy electron observations of the HED,demonstrating the effectiveness of the DDCM.The observations of the EEDP on board the three MEO satellites can provide important support for theoretical research on the radiation belts and the applications related to space weather.展开更多

The results showed that stabl...This research has investigated the in-situ Ti alloying of aluminum alloys and its application to A356 alloys and wheels through the evaluation of microstructure and mechanical properties. The results showed that stable titanium content can be obtained by adding a small quantity of TiO2 into electrolyte of pure aluminum. Under this approach, a greater than 95% absorptivity of titanium was achieved, and the microstructure of the specimens was changed to fine equiaxed grains from coarse columnar grains in the pure aluminum. In comparison with the tradition A356 alloys and wheels, the corresponding microstructure in the testing A356 alloys and wheels was finer. Although the tensile strength was similar between the testing and the tradition A356 alloys and wheels, the ductility of the former (testing) is superior to that of the later (tradition), leading to an excellent combination of strength and ductility from the testing alloys and wheels.展开更多

The robotic airship is one of the most unique and promising green aircraft,however,as a“lighter-than-air aircraft”and“thermal aircraft”,its long-endurance flight has great difficulties in decreasing drag and contr...The robotic airship is one of the most unique and promising green aircraft,however,as a“lighter-than-air aircraft”and“thermal aircraft”,its long-endurance flight has great difficulties in decreasing drag and controlling buoyancy and pressure under thermal effects.In this work,we reported a robotic airship inspired by the Physalia physalis,imitating its morphology,physiological structure,and biological behaviors.The hull is designed by imitating the morphology of the Physalia physalis,and the gasbags including a helium balloon,two ballonets,and a thermoregulation gasbag are designed by imitating the physiological structure and biological behaviors of the pneumatophore,bladder,and gland of the Physalia physalis,respectively.Experimental results show that the bionic airship has an increase of about 40%in lift-to-drag and decreases the pressure in helium balloon by 47.5%under thermal effects,and has better aerodynamic performances and thermoregulation performances than conventional airships.展开更多
Three-dimensional(3D)printing allows for the creation of complex,layered structures with precise micro and macro architectures that are not achievable through traditional methods.By designing 3D structures with geomet...Three-dimensional(3D)printing allows for the creation of complex,layered structures with precise micro and macro architectures that are not achievable through traditional methods.By designing 3D structures with geometric precision,it is possible to achieve selective regulation of mechanical properties,enabling efficient dissipation of mechanical energy.In this study,a series of modular samples inspired by the Bouligand structure were designed and produced using a direct ink writing system,along with a classical printable polydimethylsiloxane ink.By altering the angles of filaments in adjacent layers(from 30◦to 90◦)and the filament spacing during printing(from 0.8 mm to 2.4 mm),the mechanical properties of these modular samples can be adjusted.Compression mechanical testing revealed that the 3D printed modular Bouligand structures exhibit stress-strain responses that enable multiple adjustments of the elastic modulus from 0.06 MPa to over 0.8 MPa.The mechanical properties were adjusted more than 10 times in printed samples prepared using uniform materials.The gradient control mechanism of mechanical properties during this process was analyzed using finite element analysis.Finally,3D printed customized modular Bouligand structures can be assembled to create an array with Bouligand structures displaying various orientations and interlayer details tailored to specific requirements.By decomposing the original Bouligand structure and then assembling the modular samples into a specialized array,this research aims to provide parameters for achieving gradient energy absorption structures through modular 3D printing.展开更多

文摘Three-dimensional(3D)printing allows for the creation of complex,layered structures with precise micro and macro architectures that are not achievable through traditional methods.By designing 3D structures with geometric precision,it is possible to achieve selective regulation of mechanical properties,enabling efficient dissipation of mechanical energy.In this study,a series of modular samples inspired by the Bouligand structure were designed and produced using a direct ink writing system,along with a classical printable polydimethylsiloxane ink.By altering the angles of filaments in adjacent layers(from 30◦to 90◦)and the filament spacing during printing(from 0.8 mm to 2.4 mm),the mechanical properties of these modular samples can be adjusted.Compression mechanical testing revealed that the 3D printed modular Bouligand structures exhibit stress-strain responses that enable multiple adjustments of the elastic modulus from 0.06 MPa to over 0.8 MPa.The mechanical properties were adjusted more than 10 times in printed samples prepared using uniform materials.The gradient control mechanism of mechanical properties during this process was analyzed using finite element analysis.Finally,3D printed customized modular Bouligand structures can be assembled to create an array with Bouligand structures displaying various orientations and interlayer details tailored to specific requirements.By decomposing the original Bouligand structure and then assembling the modular samples into a specialized array,this research aims to provide parameters for achieving gradient energy absorption structures through modular 3D printing.
