With the development of arsenic removal technologies, biological method and sulfide method have been applied in industrial fields, other methods have also been applied in arsenic-containing copper flotation, including coagulation process, ion exchange method, direct precipitation method and so on. In the paper, a short review on the progress of arsenic removal technologies of copper flotation during the last decade is presented, and the importance and the trend of arsenic removal are discussed. The existing and possible strategies of improving copper recovery in porphyry copper ores and rejection of penalty elements such as Tennantite and Enargite in copper flotation concentrates are also presented. 展开更多

Located in Shangri-La county, Yunnan Province, China’s biggest underground nonferrous mine Pulang Copper Mine is under construction. To date, the defined copper reserves at the Pulang Copper Mine are 4.8 million tonnes of copper and an average grade of 0.34%. The mineralized zone is 2300 m long, 600 - 800 m wide, and 1000 m high in a dome shape. The first-stage mining and processing capacity is 12.5 million tonnes of ore per year. By geotechnical investigation, ore haulage is adopted via a drift and ore pass development system. From mineralogical analysis, a majority of the Pulang copper ore body is classified as a type III rock, which is generally considered to be suitable for block-caving methods. As an update to the traditional mine-to-mill approach, a cave-to-mill integrated production concept is then introduced. This is essentially the integration of underground mine production scheduling and monitoring with surface mineral processing management based on fragment size and geometallurgical ore characteristics. Several unique challenges experienced during the project design and construction, as well as a number of features aimed at mitigating these problems, are also discussed in this paper. 展开更多

Acoustic fatigue life evaluation is essential for thermal protection struc- tures due to the severe thermo-acoustic load in service. A study on temperature- dependence of acoustic fatigue life for a C/SiC panel is presented in this paper. Effects of temperature on both the structural responses and the S-N curves are investigated. The Dirlik method is adopted to predict the fatigue life of a C/SiC panel at three different temperatures respectively. Significant differences are ob- served from the results of numerical simulations between the fatigue lives of the panel in the three cases. The temperature-dependence of acoustic fatigue life of a C/SiC panel is verified, and fatigue test of the material needs to be more atten- tively performed. 展开更多

The advancement of terahertz technology in recent years and its applications in various fields lead to an urgent need for functional terahertz components,among which a terahertz switch is one example of the most importance because it provides an effective interface between terahertz signals and information in another physical quantity.To date many types of terahertz switches have been investigated mainly in the form of metamaterials made from metallic structures and optically-active medium.However,these reported terahertz switches usually suffer from an inferior performance,e.g.,requiring a high pump laser power density due to a low quality factor of the metallic metamaterial resonances.In this paper,we report and numerically investigate a symmetry-broken silicon disk based terahertz resonator array which exhibits one resonance with ultrahigh quality factor for normal incidence of the terahertz radiations.This resonance,which can never be excited for regular circular Si disks,can help to realize a superior terahertz switch with which only an ultra-low optical pump power density is required to modify the free carrier concentration in Si and its refractive index in the terahertz band.Our findings demonstrate that to realize a high terahertz transmittance change from 0 to above 50%,the required optical pump power density is more than 3 orders of magnitude smaller than that required for a split-ring resonator(SRR)based terahertz switch reported in the literature. 展开更多

The strength characteristics of plate with opening hole were tested and the applicability of strength criteria focused on particular point was analyzed. Conclusion is obtained that obviously conservative to evaluate open hole and joint strength by hole-edge stress. Based on these, high and nor-mal temperature strength test of typical circular shaft was completed, proving that comprehensive joint performance can be significantly improved by appropriately optimized design. 展开更多

A new fault diagnosis method is proposed to effectively extract the fault features of the sound signal of typical faults of ZDJ9 railway point machines.A multi-entropy feature extraction method is proposed by combing multi-scale permutation entropy and wavelet packet entropy.Firstly,empirical mode decomposition is performed on sound signals to obtain modal components with different time scales.Then,multi-scale permutation entropy is extracted from these components.Meanwhile,the wavelet packet entropy of the sound signals of these sensitive nodes is obtained by analysing the reconstructed signals of the last layer nodes.Since the multi-scale permutation entropy and the wavelet packet entropy can distinguish the subtle features of the signal,the subtle features of the information among the high-dimensional features,ReliefF is utilized.Finally,a support vector machine(SVM)is used to judge the original sismal can be obtained as the feature vector of the 2DJ9 iway point mnchine in ditterent states,To reduce the redundant fault type of a ZDJ9 rilway point machine. 展开更多

Broadband response is pursued in both infrared(IR)and terahertz(THz)detection technologies,which find their applications in both terrestrial and astronomical realms.Herein,we report an ultrabroadband and multiband IR/THz detector based on blocked-impurity-band detecting principle.The detectors are prepared by implanting phosphorus into germanium(Ge:P),where photoresponses with a P impurity band,a self-interstitial defect band,and a vacancy-P(V-P)pair defect band are realized simultaneously.The response spectra of the detectors show ultrabroad and dual response bands in a range of 3-28μm(IR band)and 40-165μm(THz band),respectively.Additionally,a tiny mid-IR(MIR)band within 3-4.2μm is embedded in the IR band.The THz band arises from the P impurity band,whereas the IR and the MIR bands are ascribed to the two defect bands.At150 m V and 4.5 K,the peak detectivities of the three bands are obtained as 2.9×10^(12) Jones(at 3.9μm),6.8×10^(12) Jones(at 16.3μm),and 9.9×10^(12) Jones(at 116.5μm),respectively.The impressive coverage andsensitivity of the detectors are promising for applications in IR and THz detection technologies. 展开更多

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a wideband linear polarization converter in a reflection mode operating from 2.4 to 4.2 THz with conversion efficiency of more than 80%. Our device can expand the applications to a higher frequency band. A numerical simulation is performed for this metamaterial converter, which shows a good agreement with experimental results. Importantly, a concise and intuitive calculating model is proposed for the Fabry–Pérot cavity. The theoretical results indicate that the underlying reason for the enhanced polarization conversion is the additional phase difference induced by the resonance of the meta-structure and multiple reflections within the Fabry–Pérot cavity. 展开更多
