We have UV-inscribed fiber Bragg gratings(FBGs), long-period gratings(LPGs), and tilted fiber gratings(TFGs) into mid-IR 2μm range using three common optical fiber grating fabrication techniques(two-beam holographic, phase mask, and point-by-point). The fabricated FBGs have been evaluated for thermal and strain response. It has been revealed that the FBG devices with responses in mid-IR range are much more sensitive to temperature than that in near-IR range. To explore the unique cladding mode coupling function, we have investigated the thermal and refractive index sensitivities of LPGs and identified that the coupled cladding modes in mid-IR range are also much more sensitive to temperature and surrounding medium refractive index change. The 45° tilted fiber gratings(45°-TFGs) as polarizing devices in mid-IR have been investigated for their polarization extinction characteristics. As efficient reflection filters and in-cavity polarizers, the mid-IR FBGs and 45°-TFGs have been employed in fiber laser cavity to realize multi-wavelength 2 μm Tm-doped CW and mode locked fiber lasers, respectively. 展开更多

LTPS–AMOLED技术已经广泛应用在柔性显示领域,但是由于脆性膜层材料限制无法直接应用于拉伸显示领域.本文以LTPS–AMOLED技术为基础结合镂空技术制备了具有岛桥结构的拉伸显示器件.为确保拉伸显示具有良好的拉伸性能,本文研究了影响拉伸性能的影响因素.首先通过研究拉伸变形机理发现拉伸结构设计时减小桥宽度、增加桥的长度、减小夹角角度和适当增大夹角半径可以更好的释放应力应变.其次研究表明拉伸过程中连接桥会产生拉应变、压应变和中性位置,金属引线位于中性位置或者压应变位置会有效减小断裂风险.连接桥的无机层裂纹产生的诱导断裂会随着其膜厚的增加而增强,而有机层可以阻隔诱导断裂并且阻隔性随着有机层厚度增加而增强,因此通过减小连接桥的无机层厚度、增加有机层厚度可有效减小无机层断裂产生的影响.最后制备了2.3 inch的OLED可伸缩显示屏,水平方向的拉伸量可达到5%以上. 展开更多

We demonstrate a stable conventional soliton in a Tm-doped hybrid mode-locked fiber laser by employing a homemade all-fiber Lyot filter(AFLF) and a single-wall carbon nanotube. The AFLF, designed by sandwiching a piece of polarization-maintained fiber(PMF) with two 45° tilted fiber gratings inscribed by a UV laser in PMF with a phase-mask scanning technique, shows large filter depth of ~9 d B and small insertion loss of ~0.8 dB. By optimizing the free spectral range of the AFLF, the Kelly sidebands of a conventional soliton centered at1966.4 nm can be dramatically suppressed without impairing the main shape of the soliton spectrum. It gives the pulse duration of 1.18 ps and bandwidth of 3.8 nm. By adjusting the temperature of the PMF of the AFLF from 7°C to 60°C, wavelength tunable soliton pulses ranging from 1971.62 nm to 1952.63 nm are also obtained.The generated soliton pulses can be precisely tuned between 1971.62 nm and 1952.63 nm by controlling the temperature of the AFLF. 展开更多
