We investigate charged hadron production at RHIC and LHC energies in the framework of color glass condensate.Our study gives a very good description of the experimental data of inclusive charged hadron production in proton–proton collisions at both RHIC and LHC energies.The saturation scale is treated as a free parameter,which will reduce the uncertainties from fitting low-energy experimental data and the modeling of the saturation momentum.We find a reasonable value of the saturation scale Q_(s)~1 GeV,which is consistent with the theoretical findings.The running coupling effect is taken into account,and it is found that it plays an important role in the description of the experimental data.We provide quantitative predictions of the rapidity dependence of the inclusive charged hadron production for the upcoming LHC experiment in proton–proton collisions at√s=14 TeV. 展开更多

The production of heavy-Havor quark c(c)and b(b)in pp collisions is described under perturbative quantum chromodynamics framework,the extrapolation from hadron-hadron up to nucleus-nucleus collisions is based on geometrical model by taking into account the nucleus shadowing effect.We simulate the heavy quark production,the decay to dilepton and effects of detection and analysis technique of the pairs,and predict the muon rate and the invariant mass spectrum of dimuons that could be detected in forward region in Pb-Pb collisions at large hadron collider energies. 展开更多

We perform a global analysis of the new combined data on inclusive structure functions in electron-proton scattering at small value of Bjorken x (x≤0.01) in the framework of the color glass condensate. The new combined HERA data at small-x are studied by an analytic proton structure function. It is shown that the theoretical results of the analytic proton structure function are in agreement with the new combined experimental data. The longitudinal proton structure function is investigated with the analytic expression. It is demonstrated that our approach shows a very good description of the longitudinal structure function experimental data, which is evidence showing the saturation effect is a domination mechanism during the rapidity evolution of the gluon density at high energy. 展开更多

Using an aspect of rapidity bins with finite sizes the short-range and longrange behaviors of two-particle correlation, the connection of two particle correlation function with factorial moment and factorial correlator are investigated; and experimental data for 16 O+Em interactions at 14.6, 60 and 200 A GeV and 32 S+197Au interactions at 200A GeV are analyzed. It is shown that the bin-average of two-particle correlation function can naturally give a coordinate description of dynamical fluctuation such as the second order factorial moment <F2> and 1+1 order factorial correlator <F1,1>. 展开更多

Multiplicity distributions of negative binomial distribution(NBD)and modified NBD are obtained from a birth process model with an immigration.The ratio of factorial cumulant moment to factorial moment,i.e.,H moment is calculated from different multiplicity distributions of NBD,modified NBD and the three fireball model,which shows an oscillatory behavior when there is a truncation of multiplicity.The oscillation of H moment is related to the common character of the truncated multiplicity distributions. 展开更多
