Background:The discovery of regulatory cell death has led to a breakthrough in the therapeutic field.Various forms of cell death,such as necrosis,apoptosis,pyroptosis,autophagy,and ferroptosis,play an important role i...Background:The discovery of regulatory cell death has led to a breakthrough in the therapeutic field.Various forms of cell death,such as necrosis,apoptosis,pyroptosis,autophagy,and ferroptosis,play an important role in the development of liver diseases.In general,more than one form of cell death pathways is responsible for the disease state.Therefore,it is particularly important to study the regulation and interaction of various cell death forms in liver diseases.Data sources:We performed a PubMed search up to November 2022 with the following keywords:ferritinophagy,ferroptosis,and liver disease.We also used terms such as signal path,inducer,and inhibitor to supplement the query results.Results:This review summarized the basic characteristics of ferritinophagy and ferroptosis and the regulation of ferroptosis by ferritinophagy and reviewed the key targets and treatment strategies of ferroptosis in different liver diseases.Conclusions:Ferritinophagy is a potential therapeutic target in ferroptosis-related liver diseases.展开更多

LSECs not only forms a barrier in the hepatic sinusoid,but also...Hepatic sinusoidal endothelial cell(LSECs),as the sinusoidal capillary channel of the liver,is the most abundant non-parenchymal cell group in the liver. LSECs not only forms a barrier in the hepatic sinusoid,but also has important physiological and immunological functions,including filtration,endocytosis,antigen presentation and leukocyte recruitment. It has been clear that LSECs play an important role in maintaining immune homeostasis in the liver and delaying the immune response to acute and chronic liver injury. In this review,we summarize how LSECs affect the immune microenvironment in the liver,and discuss their role in immune-mediated chronic liver disease,carcinogenesis,inflammation and aging process.展开更多
RhoA is a small GTPase protein.Its downstream effector protein Rho kinase(ROCK)regulates a variety of cell functions,including cell growth,gene expression and cytoskeleton recombination.Studies have demonstrated that ...RhoA is a small GTPase protein.Its downstream effector protein Rho kinase(ROCK)regulates a variety of cell functions,including cell growth,gene expression and cytoskeleton recombination.Studies have demonstrated that this pathway plays an important pathophysiological role in diabetic nephropathy and other complications,hypertension,stroke,tumor,osteoarthritis,acute lung injury and other diseases.The occurrence and development of diabetes-related disease is closely related to the activation or up-regulation of RhoA/ROCK pathway.As a key target of drug development,ROCK inhibitors have been widely concerned by scholars.This article reviews the relationship between RhoA/ROCK pathway and diabetesrelated disease,and offers a new and effective strategy for the prevention and treatment of this series of diseases.展开更多
