Tomato spotted wilt virus(TSWV)is an important virus that has rapidly spread throughout the world.TSWV seriously hinders the production of tomato(Solanum lycopersicum)and other plants.In order to discover more new genes and metabolites related to TSWV resistance in tomato plants,the genes and metabolites related to the resistance of tomato plants inoculated with TSWV were identified and studied herein.The tomato TSWV-resistance line YNAU335(335)and TSWV-susceptible lines NO5 and 96172I(961)were used as the transcriptome and metabolome research materials.Transcriptomic and metabolomic techniques were used to analyze the gene and metabolite response mechanisms to TSWV inoculation.A total of 3566,2951,and 2674 differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were identified in lines 335,NO5,and961,respectively.Meanwhile,208,228,and 273 differentially accumulated metabolites(DAMs)were identified in lines 335,NO5,and 961,respectively.In line 335,the number of DEGs was the highest,but the number of DAMs was lowest.Furthermore,903 DEGs and 94 DAMs were common to the response to TSWV in the three inbred lines.The 903 DEGs and 94 DAMs were mainly enriched in the plant hormone signal transduction and flavonoid synthesis pathways.In addition,many nucleotide-binding site-leucine-rich repeat genes and transcription factors were found that might be involved in the TSWV response.These results provide new insights into TSWV resistance mechanisms. 展开更多

Diamond based quantum sensing is a fast-emerging field with both scientific and technological significance.The nitrogen–vacancy(NV)center,a crystal defect in diamond,has become a unique object for microwave sensing applications due to its excellent stability,long spin coherence time,and optical properties at ambient condition.In this work,we use diamond NV center as atomic receiver to demodulate on–off keying(OOK)signal transmitted in broad frequency range(2 GHz–14 GHz in a portable benchtop setup).We proposed a unique algorithm of voltage discrimination and demonstrated audio signal transceiving with fidelity above 99%.This diamond receiver is attached to the end of a tapered fiber,having all optic nature,which will find important applications in data transmission tasks under extreme conditions such as strong electromagnetic interference,high temperatures,and high corrosion. 展开更多

On the‘ENGO+focal firm’governance strategies of pollution of small and medium suppliers

Presently,the environmental pollution problem,especially that of the small and medium-sized enterprises,has become a bottleneck restricting the high-quality development of China’s economy.It is imperative to accelerate the construction of a collaborative governance system with multiple subject participation.The behavior modes of Environmental Non-governmental Organizations(ENGOs),a key player in environmental care,in collaborating with core enterprises to control pollution from small and medium-sized suppliers should be explored.Therefore,we constructed a collaborative governance system consisting of ENGOs,focal firms and small and medium-sized suppliers.Then a two-stage game model was established to analyze the strategies of the governance system.Specifically,we studied the collaborative green cooperation strategy and antagonistic pressure supervision strategy between ENGOs and focal firms,analyzed factors influencing the strategic choices of each subject,and gave the advantages of the cooperation strategies through further comparisons.The results showed that:Under the cooperation strategy,ENGOs provided knowledge of environmental protection to the focal firms,then both the audit efforts of focal firms and the environmental protection efforts of small and medium-sized suppliers were effectively improved.Since ENGOs could not fully obtain the pollution information of small and medium-sized suppliers or accurately trace it from their downstream focal firms,it was difficult to drive the supply chain’s endogenous governance by this external monitoring of ENGOs,making the effect of pressure supervision strategy limited.The effectiveness of green cooperation strategy was positively correlated with the knowledge absorption capacity of focal firms,the unit product revenue,and the focal firms'violation penalties for small and medium-sized suppliers.When ENGOs'violation penalties for small and medium-sized suppliers were higher,or the reputation loss of focal firms was higher,more unfavorable conditions of green cooperation strategy could be achieved.Accordingly,ENGOs should choose to cooperate with focal firms with strong knowledge absorption ability and high profit per product;focal firms should learn environmental protection knowledge to improve the screening standards and review capabilities,and promote the achievement of green cooperation strategy conditions by strengthening active information disclosure;the government should promote the collaboration between ENGOs and focal firms by issuing environmental guidelines. 展开更多

Solar sailing is a promising propellant-free approach to propelling spacecraft in space.However,the propelling efficiency of conventional solar sail spacecraft is limited by their areato-mass ratios.This paper proposes a novel design of micro solar sails with area-to-mass ratios above 100 m2/kg for next-generation chip-scale spacecraft.Bilayer thin films developed by Microelectromechanical Systems(MEMS)technologies were patterned into grid microstructures,and theoretical analysis of a sail prototype was conducted.The electro-thermal and thermo-mechanical models of the solar sail in geospace were established by taking effects of Joule heating,solar radiation,and thermal re-emission into consideration,enabling rapid prediction of its threedimensional(3-D)reconfiguration from the as-released two-dimensional(2-D)microstructure.Adjustment of the ChipSail’s acceleration arising from the sail’s morphing was also analytically modeled.Fabrication and characterization of the sail prototype made of multiple Al/Ni50Ti50 bilayer beams were accomplished.In-situ SEM imaging of the sail prototype in vacuum chamber witnessed an active and continuous 3-D reconfiguration under Joule heating,and over 90deformation was detected by applying a DC voltage of 0.078 V.Theoretical and experimental work on the solar sail with at least 10 times higher area-to-mass ratios than conventional ones will lay a solid foundation for efficient solar sailing. 展开更多

Background Tenecteplase(TNK)possesses several pharmacological characteristics superior to conventional alteplase(rt-PA),with well-established safety and efficacy profile in Caucasians.There exists controversy over the optimal dose of intravenous rt-PA for East Asians with acute ischaemic stroke(AIS).Current study aimed to determine the safety dose range of recombinant human TNK tissue-type plasminogen activator(rhTNK-tPA)for patients with AIS in China.Methods This multicentre,prospective,randomised,open-label,blinded end-point,phase II study compared three tiers of 0.1,0.25,0.32 mg/kg rhTNK-tPA(to a maximum of 40 mg)with standard 0.9 mg/kg rt-PA(to a maximum of 90 mg)in patients who were eligible for intravenous thrombolysis.The safety outcome were symptomatic intracranial haemorrhage(sICH)within 36 hours.Results Between May 2018 and February 2020,240 patients were randomly assigned to four group,4 of whom did not receive study treatment.The intention-to-treat analysis included 236 patients.There was no difference in the improvement on National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale at day 14 in the 3 tiers and control group(63.3%,77.2%,66.7%vs 62.7%).The number of sICH was 3 of 60(5.0%)in the 0.1 mg/kg group,none in the 0.25 mg/kg group,2 of 60(3.3%)in the 0.32 mg/kg group and 1(1.7%)of 59 in the rt-PA group.There were no significant between-group differences in severe adverse events.Conclusions Similar to the Caucasians,rhTNK-tPA was well tolerated in Chinese patients with AIS at all doses administered within 3 hours of symptom onset.The dose-efficacy profile of rhTNK-tPA needs to be established with future investigations. 展开更多
