The results showed that Heterosigma akashiwo ex...The responses of the interspecific competition between Skeletonema costatum and Heterosigma akashiwo to UV-B radiation enhancement were studied by the co-culture method. The results showed that Heterosigma akashiwo exhibited inhibition on the growth of Skeletonema costatum, and with the increase of initial inoculation density of Heterosigma akashiwo, heavier inhibition on Skeletonema costatum appeared. Under different inoculation proportions, Heterosigma akashiwo could always be in predominance in competition with Skeletonema costatum. The UV-B radiation treatment could change the competition relationship between Skeletonema costatum and Heterosigma akashiwo, which could increase the competitive dominance of Skeletonema costatum and decrease the competitive dominance of Heterosigma akashiwo. When the inoculation proportions of Heterosigma akashiwo and Skeletonema costatum were H∶S=1∶4 and H∶S=1∶1,Skeletonema costatum was in predominance in this competition; however, Heterosigma akashiwo was in predominance when the inoculation proportion was H∶S=4∶1.展开更多

For this reason, a trust domain-based multi-agent model for network resource selection is presented. The model divides the network into numbers of trust domains and prevents the inconsistency of information maintained by different agents through the periodical communication among the agents. The model enables consumers to receive the response from the agents much quicker because the trust values of participators are evalUated and updated dynamically and timely after the completion of each transaction. In order to make users choose the best matching services and give users with trusted services, the model takes into account the similarity between services and the service providers' recognition to the services. Finally, the model illustrates the effectiveness and feasibility according to the experiment.展开更多

Mutations of lats lead to an increase in cell number and organ size in Drosophila, indicating lats may be involved in organ size control. Furthermore, the high conservation of sequence and tumor suppression function of lats between Drosophila and human suggests that it may be also involved in organ size control of higher animals . So here we isolated the bovine homologue of Drosophila lats. Sequence analysis indicates the bovine LATS1 to be very similar to other lats proteins.展开更多
