The authors of the present paper treated 17 cases with acupuncture of Xiaguan (ST 7) and got a satisfactory result. Methods: Gauge 30 filiform needle 1.5 cun long was used to insert into Xiaguan (ST 7) rapidly to a depth of about 0.5 cun. The needle was manipulated with uniform reducing reinforcing method and then retained for 40 minutes. During retention of the needle the focus was irradiated with a TDP lamp. The treatment was given once daily, with 10 treatments being a therapeutic course. For severe patients, Quchi (LI 11) and Hegu (LI 4) were used in combination. Results indicated that after acupuncture treatment all the 17 cases were cured.展开更多
