Colorization method based on the linear relationship assumption

A new local cost function is proposed in this paper based on the linear relationship assumption between the values of the color components and the intensity component in each local image window,then a new quadratic objective function is derived from it and the globally optimal chrominance values can be computed by solving a sparse linear system of equations.Through the colorization experiments on various test images,it is confirmed that the colorized images obtained by our proposed method have more vivid colors and sharper boundaries than those obtained by the traditional method.The peak signal to noise ratio(PSNR) of the colorized images and the average estimation error of the chrominance values relative to the original images also show that our proposed method gives more precise estimation than the traditional method. 展开更多

Using ladder operators for the non-linear oscillator with position-dependent effective mass, realization of the dynamic group SU(1,1) is presented. Keeping in view the algebraic structure of the non-linear oscillator, coherent states are constructed using Barut–Girardello formalism and their basic properties are discussed. Furthermore, the statistical properties of these states are investigated by means of Mandel parameter and second order correlation function. Moreover,it is shown that in the harmonic limit, all the results obtained for the non-linear oscillator with spatially varying mass reduce to corresponding results of the linear oscillator with constant mass. 展开更多

In this paper, we introduce two new classes of nonlinear squeezed states that we name as f-deformed squeezed vacuum state|ξ, f even and f-deformed squeezed first excited state |ξ, f odd, which according to their production processes, essentially include only even and odd bases of Fock space, respectively. In the continuation, we introduce the superposition of these two distinct nonlinear squeezed states with a respective phase ?. Then, some of the criteria which imply the nonclassicality of the states, such as Mandel parameter, second-order correlation function, quadrature squeezing, amplitude-squared squeezing, Husimi and Wigner–Weyl quasi-distribution functions, are numerically examined. At last, by considering a well-known nonlinearity function associated with a nonlinear physical system, we present our results which outcome from the numerical calculations. It is shown that, the introduced f-deformed states can reveal high nonclassical features. 展开更多
