BRI’s Employment Effect on Participating Countries and Mechanism Analysis

Based on the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI)as a quasi-natural experiment,this paper uses panel data from 124 countries between 2006 and 2019 to build a difference-in-differences(DID)model to investigate the BRI employment effect on participating countries and mechanisms.We observed that the BRI had significantly increased employment rates in participating countries,and that this result remained robust after using the instrumental variable(IV)to mitigate endogeneity and perform a robustness test.There are differences in the BRI’s employment effect depending on the income level,labor conditions,and the digital economy’s development level of BRI countries:compared with low-income countries and lower-middle-income countries,the BRI has a more significantly positive effect on the employment rates of upper-middle-income and high-income countries;the BRI’s employment effect is stronger in countries with higher labor market efficiencies and better labor relations;In countries with higher levels of digital economy,the BRI has a relatively greater positive effect on employment.The BRI has increased employment rates in participating countries on both the supply and demand sides by building infrastructure,interconnecting industries and resources,and improving human capital through the exchange of human resources.Further analysis suggests that the BRI’s employment effect promotes the sophistication of participating countries’employment structures,hence improving employment quality,and that participating countries’employment levels may continue to improve in the medium and long run.

The BRI is not just a Chinese proposal for economic development,but also a platform for international cooperation and a global public good for realizing the right to development.LAST year marked the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI).Over the last decade,against the backdrop of a sluggish global economy and rising sentiment against globalization,the BRI has played an important role in advancing economic globalization,improving global governance,and boosting common prosperity.The initiative has generated more opportunities,resources,and conditions for participating countries,and facilitated the free flow of production factors,opening-up,and prosperity.

CRISPR/Cas9介导靶向敲除拟南芥BRI1突变体的鉴定

以拟南芥(Arabidopsis thaliana)油菜素内酯受体BRI1为目的基因,利用CRISPR/Cas9基因编辑技术定向编辑拟南芥BRI1,以期获得更多BRI1的突变体,为后续BRI1功能的进一步深入研究奠定基础。通过筛选转基因植株,对编辑后的BRI1进行测序分析,结果显示该突变体中BRI1基因序列由于新碱基的插入导致提前终止。同BRI1强突变体bri1-710一样,相比于野生型对照均对BL处理不敏感,但相比于bri1-710,该突变体植株较大,暗示BRI1 N端可能在BR信号途径中有重要作用。因此该研究可为后续进一步研究拟南芥及其他同源物种的BRI1功能提供可靠的参考依据。

BRI基因在人非小细胞肺癌细胞系中的差异表达

目的 研究BRI基因在人非小细胞肺癌细胞系中的表达 ,探讨其表达情况与肺癌转移能力的相关性。方法 应用半定量RT PCR、Northernblot法分析一对来源相同、转移能力不同的人肺腺癌细胞系AGZY83 a和Anip973中BRI基因的差异表达 ,并检测另外 6个肺癌细胞系SPC A 1、A5 49、95D、TKB 18、GLC 82和PAa中BRI基因的表达情况 ,分析其过度表达与肺癌转移能力的关系。结果 BRI基因在两同源细胞系中确实存在明显的差异表达 ,在具有高转移潜能的Anip973中呈高表达。在其他 6个不同转移潜能的肺癌细胞系中BRI的表达情况也与其转移能力有一定的相关性。BRI基因存在 1.6kb和 2 .0kb两个转录本 ,在肺癌细胞系中以 1.6kb转录本为主。结论 BRImRNA尤其是 1.

麻疯树BRI1基因的鉴定及其在不同发育时期花蕾中的表达分析

[目的]研究油菜素内酯受体BRI1的同源基因(JcBRI1)在麻疯树花发育过程中的作用。[方法]利用RT-PCR技术克隆JcBRI1基因的CDS,以pET-30a(+)质粒为框架构建原核表达载体转化至大肠杆菌进行诱导表达,随后利用LC-MS/MS对表达产物进行质谱鉴定,并以氨基酸序列为基础分析JcBRI1蛋白质结构。利用荧光定量PCR分析麻疯树JcBRI1基因在雌雄花发育的关键时期的表达水平,初步确定其在麻疯树花发育过程中的表达模式。[结果]克隆获得了JcBRI1基因的CDS,长度为3 591 bp。SDS-PAGE检测结果表明:JcBRI1基因在大肠杆菌BL21(DE3)和Rosetta(DE3)中均能表达,但在低温环境的表达量更高。原核表达产物的LC-MS/MS鉴定结果表明:JcBRI1氨基酸序列与预期的一致,JcBRI1基因的表达产物为麻疯树BRI1蛋白。对JcBRI1在麻疯树花器官不同发育时期的表达水平进行检测分析,结果表明:JcBRI1基因的表达量在雌花发育的第一个时期即大孢子母细胞时期就达到了最高值,在随后几个时期持续下调;然而,其在雄花各个时期的表达量并无明显差异,表明其很有可能参与了麻疯树雌花大孢子母细胞发育过程。[结论]麻疯树JcBRI1基因为LRR-RLKs家族成员BRI1的同源基因,很有可能参与麻疯树雌花大孢子母细胞的发育过程,至于JcBRI1在麻疯树大孢子母细胞发育过程中的具体作用机制还需进一步研究。

中国农业银行农村营业网点经营机制改革探索——基于印尼人民银行(BRI)经验的分析

BRI Infrastructure Development and Economic Growth

Infrastructure development is a key aspect of the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI).After measuring the infrastructure stocks of China and BRI countries,this paper estimates BRI countries’demand for infrastructure development and verifies its economic growth effects,thus demonstrating the importance of the BRI.We found China’s infrastructure stock to be second-highest in the world,next only to that of the United States.While China’s infrastructure development is in sync with its economic development,inadequate infrastructure prevents many countries around the world from unlocking their full economic potential.By providing financing for much-needed infrastructure,the BRI exerts positive effects on economic growth in relevant countries.With a mandate of promoting infrastructure interconnectivity,the BRI will serve as a new driving force shaping a community of shared future for humankind.

Pathways for Expediting Joint Agricultural Development of China and BRI Countries

Based on the agricultural panel data of 107 countries from 1962 to 2016,this paper establishes a global agricultural spatial production model,and explores pathways for mutually beneficial cooperation between China and the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI)countries in the agricultural sector.As shown in the empirical results,two-way spillover effects between China and BRI countries are all positive and significantly above world average of its kind,which builds the foundation of cooperation between both sides and reflects the BRI’s vision and foresight.In the context of the BRI,there are two pathways for expediting agricultural development in China and BRI countries:First,both sides may benefit from greater spillover effects from each other’s agricultural growth by promoting agricultural trade;second,China may gain from the overall spillover effects from agricultural development in BRI countries by promoting two-way trade,agri-technology aid and assistance in infrastructure projects for the common good of humanity.

Effect of Nitrogen on Growth and Yield of Pineapple Grown on BRIS Soil

The physical and chemical properties of BRIS （beach ridges interspersed with swales） soil are unsuitable for agricultural purposes. A proper fertilizer and crop management practices are required. The relationship between different level of nitrogen fertilizer, growth and pineapple fruit yield vary N36 were studied. The experiment was conducted using randomized complete block design of seven treatments with four replicates, Prior to artificial flower induction, seven different rates of nitrogen fertilizer at 0, 200, 400, 600, 800, 1,000 and 1,200 kg-ha^-1 were applied in four equal split doses. As the level of nitrogen fertilizer was increased, a decrease in acidity of fruits and an increase in crown weight were observed. However an increase in mean length of D leaf, mean fruit length, mean fruit weight, mean fruit to crown ratio were obtained as the rate of nitrogen fertilizer was increased from 0-600 kg.N-ha^-1. Further increase however led to a decrease in the same parameters.
