Exploring the Application Effect of Flipped Classroom Combined with Problem-Based Learning Teaching Method in Clinical Skills Teaching of Standardized Training for Resident Doctors of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Objective: To explore the application effect of flipped classroom combined with problem-based learning teaching method in clinical skills teaching of standardized training for resident doctors of traditional Chinese Medicine. Methods: The study used the experimental control method. The study lasted from September to November 2022. The subjects of this study were 49 students of standardized training for resident doctors of traditional Chinese Medicine from grades 2020, 2021 and 2022 of Dazhou integrated TCM & Western Medicine Hospital. They were randomly divided into experiment group (25) and control group (24). The experiment group adopted flipped classroom combined with problem-based learning teaching method, and the control group adopted traditional teaching method. The teaching content was 4 basic clinical skill projects, including four diagnoses of traditional Chinese Medicine, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, dressing change procedure, acupuncture and massage. The evaluation method was carried out by comparing the students’ performance and a self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the students’ evaluation of the teaching method. Results: The test scores of total scores in the experimental group (90.12 ± 5.89) were all higher than those in the control group (81.47 ± 7.96) (t = 4.53, P P Conclusions: The teaching process of the flipped classroom combined with problem-based learning teaching method is conducive to improving the efficiency of classroom teaching, cultivating students’ self-learning ability, and enhancing students’ willingness to learn.

Hybrid Teaching Reform of Veterinary Microbiology Based on the Combination of Virtual Simulation and Problem-Based Learning

The Veterinary Microbiology course is centered around the diagnosis and testing of pathogenic microorganisms,with the core value of“moral education and character development.”It reconstructs multidimensional teaching resources by integrating disciplinary achievements with clinical cases and implements a hybrid teaching approach combining virtual simulation and problem-based learning(PBL)through the“three stages+four models+three reflections”framework.Dual-qualification teachers employ various teaching methods,create a“six-in-one”model for ideological and political education,and conduct formative assessments based on the principles of diversified objectives and process emphasis.The hybrid teaching reform addresses issues such as fragmented knowledge,insufficient class hours,weak animal disease diagnostic abilities among students,limited application and expansion of knowledge points,and students’lack of proactive critical thinking skills.The application of hybrid teaching has shown significant advantages and effectiveness,providing a reference for teaching reform in similar microbiology courses.

Analysis of the Role of Problem-Based Independent Learning Model in Teaching Cerebral Ischemic Stroke First Aid in Emergency Medicine

Objective:To analyze the effect of using a problem-based(PBL)independent learning model in teaching cerebral ischemic stroke(CIS)first aid in emergency medicine.Methods:90 interns in the emergency department of our hospital from May 2022 to May 2023 were selected for the study.They were divided into Group A(45,conventional teaching method)and Group B(45 cases,PBL independent learning model)by randomized numerical table method to compare the effects of the two groups.Results:The teaching effect indicators and student satisfaction scores in Group B were higher than those in Group A(P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of the PBL independent learning model in the teaching of CIS first aid can significantly improve the teaching effect and student satisfaction.

Problem-based Learning Combining Seminar Teaching Method for the Practice of Mathematical Modeling Course's Teaching Reform for Computer Discipline

Mathematical modeling course has been one of the fast development courses in China since 1992,which mainly trains students’innovation ability.However,the teaching of mathematical modeling course is quite difficult since it requires students to have a strong mathematical foundation,good ability to design algorithms,and programming skills.Besides,limited class hours and lack of interest in learning are the other reasons.To address these problems,according to the outcome-based education,we adopt the problem-based learning combined with a seminar mode in teaching.We customize cases related to computer and software engineering,start from simple problems in daily life,step by step deepen the difficulty,and finally refer to the professional application in computer and software engineering.Also,we focus on ability training rather than mathematical theory or programming language learning.Initially,we prepare the problem,related mathematic theory,and core code for students.Furtherly,we train them how to find the problem,and how to search the related mathematic theory and software tools by references for modeling and analysis.Moreover,we solve the problem of limited class hours by constructing an online resource learning library.After a semester of practical teaching,it has been shown that the interest and learning effectiveness of students have been increased and our reform plan has achieved good results.

Proposing Effective Problem-Based Learning(PBL)Problems by Reimplementing Open-Source Projects

Recently,Problem-Based Learning(PBL)has been regarded as a possible way towards effective educational changes in Chinese universities.However,problems have been exposed in the adoption of PBL,such as choosing effective PBL problems.The purpose of this paper is to provide a possible solution to the formulation of PBL problems for computer science courses,which is to reimplement open-source projects(ROSP).A case is demonstrated by showing how ROSP was adopted in a practical intercourse-level PBL course module.This paper contributes to a new PBL problem formulation method for promoting PBL in a practical way for Chinese universities.

This thesis critically examines the effectiveness of Duolingo as a language learning platform.Duolingo is one of the most popular language learning platforms online worldwide that offers language teaching in a free and fun way on mobile apps.It serves as a provider for autonomous learning,namely allowing users to learn languages independently,and is used by language learners of all levels who want to be multi-lingual,or who have the need to learn a foreign language in time for academic or social requirements,and so on.Meanwhile,the effectiveness of teaching method offered on Duolingo has been overestimated,and many problems during learning are ignored.The study methods in the thesis are content study method and contrast study method.The problems will be demonstrated by analysis of the content of Duolingo in many aspects and comparison of another well-known platform called“Innovative Language Learning”.This thesis aims to analyze the downsides of Duolingo in regard to foreign language learning in many aspects in both comprehensive and detailed way,and point out suggestions and solutions for improvement.

The Comparison of Tasked-based Teaching Method and Situation Teaching Method in Lexical Learning in Senior High Language Teaching

there are many teaching methods in current teaching procedures,such as the whole language teaching method;communicative teaching method;cooperation teaching method;situation teaching method;tasked-based teaching method;content-based teaching method;competence-based teaching method multiple intelligence teaching method and other teaching methods.This article depicts the usage and comparison of the tasked-based teaching methods and situation teaching method in lexical learning in senior high language leaching.This article first talks about the definition and feature of these two teaching methods.Then through observing the students using different methods,I aim to compare these two methods in order to find out the similarities and differences between them when students are learning vocabulary.Making further study on the teaching methods,I would like to take good advantage of them in lexical learning in senior high classes in hope that we teachers can inspire students'thinking,arouse their desire,active the atmosphere and help them have a better and simpler command of the vocabulary they obtained in the class.

Simulation Games As Educational Learning Method in Engineering Careers

The challenges of today＇s world require college students have different skills and know how to apply the knowledge acquired to solve new situations. The traditional mode of teaching with lectures, still present in many subjects of the engineering, seems to favor the development of the necessary skills, as active use of knowledge required [ 1 ]. However, they are using simulation games as an educational method in many universities in the world for the advantages they present for learning and the development of various skills, to simulate specific situations of professional activity [2]. This paper presents some background and requirements that games must meet educational purposes and propose their use in subjects related to economics, management and organization of production engineering programs where you can teach and learn from building products with simple items like cardboard paper on the theory of constructionism to build a product where people are building theories and knowledge in the mind [3]. The use of games is not widespread in universities in Argentina, however you can generate more motivating learning situations as it leaves the board becoming less abstract and more concrete learning. Classroom climate changes as students take a more participatory role and the teacher intervenes as a guide or facilitator of learning. This work could motivate teachers and researchers to promote their use in teaching and in future research to evaluate the potential of its use as a learning tool.

PBL联合CBL教学模式在心律失常心电图教学的应用

目的 探讨以问题式教学法(PBL)联合以案例式教学法(CBL)在进修学员心律失常心电图教学中应用及效果。方法 选取2022年2月7日至2023年1月20日于解放军总医院进修的78名学员为研究对象,采用随机数表法分为观察组(n=39)和对照组(n=39),观察组应用PBL联合CBL教学法,对照组采用传统授课教学法(LBL),比较两组心电图理论成绩、心电图判读成绩及教学模式认可度。结果 观察组心电图理论知识成绩和心电图判读成绩均高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P <0.05);观察组学员在激发学习兴趣、增强自主学习意识、提高分析问题能力、提高解决问题能力、利于知识掌握、利于师生互动、对教学满意方面均高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P <0.05)。其中,两组在利于知识掌握方面差异最为显著。结论 在心律失常心电图教学中,PBL联合CBL教学法能更好地提高进修学员的理论实践成绩及教学认可度,可在教学中进行应用。

工作坊联合案例教学法在口腔修复临床本科实践教学中的探索

目的探索工作坊结合案例教学法在口腔修复学本科实践教学中的应用,评价其可行性和实施效果。方法选择2020年9月—2022年6月在郑州大学口腔医学院实习的2016、2017级80名口腔医学专业本科生作为研究对象,将2个年级的80名学生随机平均分为试验组、对照组,各40名。试验组采用工作坊联合案例教学法,对照组采用传统带教模式。实习结束后,对2组进行实践技能考核、案例分析和问卷调查,评价相关教学效果。结果2组上颌中切牙临时冠制作评分比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。试验组上颌中切牙牙体预备成绩、实践技能考核总分、案例分析评分均高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。试验组学生对工作坊教育联合案例教学模式的认可度更高,教学效果优于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.001)。结论在口腔修复本科实践教学中,采用工作坊联合案例教学模式较传统带教模式能获得更佳的教学效果。

基于问题导向式的中西医结合临床教学的现状研究

基于问题导向式的临床教学模式(problem based learning,PBL)是指通过问题案例或场景使学生确定自己的学习目标,且经由学生自我独立式学习和小组讨论以完善知识。经过60余年的教学实践,在世界许多国家的临床医学教育中都取得了良好的效果,PBL引入我国也有近30年的历史,其在我国临床医学教育的应用中仍然处于探索和改革的阶段。文章就PBL在国内中西医结合临床各科室中的教学现状进行总结,发现其对提高学生积极性,改善学习效果,提高学生的教学满意度等方面效果较好,同时探讨其目前存在的问题,并针对现有的问题提出应对策略,如“靶向PBL教学”模式,以期为未来的医学临床教育提供思路。

思维导图联合PBL教学法在临床医学线上实习中的应用

目的研究在临床医学线上实习中,将思维导图与PBL教学法结合应用的效果,以促进医学生的学习和临床思维能力培养。方法2022年4—10月,选取于中山大学附属第七医院肾脏病中心36名线上实习的临床医学专业本科生随机分为对照组和研究组,各18名。对照组采用常规教学,试验组使用思维导图联合以问题为导向的教学法(problem-based learning,PBL)进行教学实践。比较2组线上学生的学习效果,包括理论考核和主观测评。结果研究组的理论知识及病案分析的考核成绩高于对照组的考核成绩,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。在教学满意度、文献检索能力、自主学习能力以及问题解决能力等4个方面,研究组的得分均高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.001)。结论思维导图联合PBL教学法相结合应用于临床医学线上实习中是一种有效的教学模式,可有效提高医学生的自主学习、协作、创新和临床思维能力,提高线上实习质量和满意度,有助于深化医学教育改革。

联合PBL和iSIM情景模拟教学在产儿团体合作培训中的应用

目的将基于问题的学习(problem based learning,PBL)联合优化情景模拟教学模式(improving simulation instructional methods,iSIM)应用于产儿科团队合作培训,探讨该教学模式在产儿科对临床医学本科实习医师的团队合作能力、新生儿急救实践技能和学生对教学模式的满意度的影响。方法将2022年7月—2023年6月在中山市人民医院产科和新生儿科轮转的四年级实习医师共72人,按工号末位奇偶数随机分为试验组(n=36)和对照组(n=36)。两组均实行小组教学,每6人为一个小组。所有人员前期均接受产科危重症、新生儿复苏的理论培训。其中,对照组采用传统授课+操作示范的教学模式;试验组采用PBL+iSIM情景模拟教学模式,期间穿插标准家属进行医患沟通,试验组和对照组每1个小组6个实习医师,利用Excel现场随机抽签确定所演练的角色分工。教学结束后比较两组实习医师理论、操作考核成绩、医患沟通能力和学生的满意度,并用团队合作评价工具(CSAT)进行评价,应用统计学方法,分析并评估PBL+iSIM情景模拟教学模式在产儿科团体合作培训与传统的教学模式培训教学效果差异。结果两组实习医师除了理论成绩和个人准备工作项目得分差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)外,操作考核成绩、医患沟通能力、学生的满意度以及CSAT评价指标总分和其他项目的组间差异均具有统计学意义(均P<0.05),结果提示PBL联合iSIM情景模拟教学模式优于传统的教学模式。结论PBL联合iSIM情景模拟教学模式应用在临床本科实习生的产儿科合作项目中有较大的优势,有利于提高临床医学本科实习生对产科和新生儿急救技能的掌握水平,提高教学效果和教学质量。
