Physical Education Teaching Assistant Perceptions on Classroom Management and Teaching Effectiveness

This research examined graduate students in physical education TA （teaching assistant） positions instructing lower level classes, and how classroom management skills prior to student teaching may improve the quality of TA classroom instruction. A survey was conducted with TA graduate students instructing lower level classes and an examination of their opinions and open mindedness as to the idea of education in leadership methods and class management to improve the quality of TA instruction. The following questions were examined in the survey： comparative importance between classroom management and mastery of skills, having detailed knowledge of a subject to teach entry level classes in this subject or having leadership capabilities to successfully manage the class, and knowledge level of the subjects they are teaching. This study revealed that most TAs believe that knowing and developing classroom management skills can help enhance their efficiency of content delivery for students. Thus, it is imperative for colleges and universities to seek highly qualified individuals with TA positions while providing training to improve their classroom management and leadership skills. The authors offer suggestions for development of TAs further.

Reflection on College Education and Teaching Management under New Media

Research on Digital and Analog Electronic Experiment Teaching Course Management based on UltraLab Network Experiment Platform

Digital circuit and analog circuit courses are basic courses for students of science and engineering universities. Among them,the practical courses are of great significance for students to master the knowledge of electronics. In order to make teachers teaching more efficiently and students studying more quickly,how to update the experimental course in teaching reform is the key point. This paper analyzing the present situation of teaching in the digital circuit and analog circuit courses,the teaching questions in universities. On the basis of it,the innovation measures of experimental teaching methods and contents are discussed. Our school tries to introduce the UltraLab network experiment platform,reform and optimize the teaching methods of related courses.And it’ s accelerating the construction and development of emerging engineering education’ s process,reducing effectively the teacher’s time for managing in equipment,improving the students’ ability to use instruments.

Research on the Ideological and Political Education in the Curriculum of Human Resource Management in China

Based on the teaching concept of “Ideological and Political Education in the Curriculum”, taking the curriculum of “Human Resource Management” as an example, this paper explores the reform of ideological and political education design from the perspective of moral education objectives and teaching contents. The course takes “carrying forward the craftsmanship spirit” as the main line, and takes” constructing a pattern of high-quality education” as the main task, which not only cultivates students’ professional skills in human resource management, but also integrates ideological and political elements into all modules of human resource management, pays attention to students’ ideological trends and attaches importance to students’ ideological education. In the teaching content, the course introduces ideological and political elements such as craftsmanship spirit, entrepreneurship spirit and Chinese traditional culture. In the recruitment and selection section, the importance of craftsmanship spirit is emphasized, and talents who strive for excellence and excellence are advocated for selection. In the performance management section, combined with entrepreneurial spirit, the value of innovation driven and efficient execution is explored. When discussing about employee development, it is important to integrate socialist core values and balance individual and collective interests. Research on Financial Management Issues and Countermeasures in Chinese Higher Education Institutions

With the continuous deepening of educational reform and the rapid development of higher education,as an important battlefield for knowledge dissemination,scientific research innovation,and social services,the financial management level of universities directly affects the efficiency of resource allocation,improvement of teaching quality,and sustainable development ability of the school.However,in the context of rapid expansion and diversified development,financial management in universities faces many challenges and problems.If not solved,it will inevitably negatively impact the management of universities and restrict their development.This article aims to deeply analyze the main problems in current financial management in universities and propose corresponding countermeasures and suggestions,to provide reference for improving the efficiency of financial management in universities.

A New Theory About Teaching Philosophy

The aim of this paper is to elucidate the nature and viability of teaching philosophy establishing their impact on the construction of philosophy in developing countries such as Peru. This article is inserted in the context of the need to rethink the missed philosophy marked by Badiou who proposes two ideas and binding areas： Philosophy is a reflection on all that is in the infinite universe, including humans; and, being the reflection （thinking） an innate characteristic of the human being, then, in some way, we are philosophers. It follows two thoughts that philosophy is not taught or learned but is assumed in the measure of their level of education and knowledge. In such conditions, it is not the teaching of philosophy that which has to build philosophy or form ＂philosophers,＂ but is education. It is established, therefore, that between the philosophy and the education, there is a direct relationship in the sense that the first is based on the second and a good education is a prerequisite for the development of philosophy in a society condition. For this important reason, developing countries still do not have adequate conditions for sustained construction of philosophy because they have educational models that prevent it from radiating a good education to society. Being a good carrier of a good education philosophy, a poorly educated person has limitations to acquire of philosophical thinking. Therefore, these reasons are that in these countries, the teaching philosophy has proved to be unsuccessful. Being poor education in underdeveloped societies, where language skills and science are below international standards, it is easy to deduce that such societies are facing philosophy and devoid of conditions to form part of their cultures. Our hypothesis is that philosophy in a society cannot be built on the basis of the teaching of philosophy, but on the basis of a good education. The fact that in underdeveloped societies, as is the case of Peru, there is no philosophy in terms of what it means in modern times, is not because there is no teaching of philosophy but because there is archaic educational models. In these countries, the education model is anti-philosophical. Our approach is based on the education system prevalent in underdeveloped countries such as Peru, which is not feasible ＂teaching philosophy＂ to steadily build philosophy as part of national cultures, and instead it is necessary for the design and implementation of new models of education.

OBE教育理念和能力本位观下模块化教学改革研究与实践——以《配送中心规划与管理》课程为例

针对《配送中心规划与管理》课程理论性强、计算量大、数据分析多,学生感觉抽象难懂、学习兴趣和主动性未有效发挥的问题,课程组基于能力本位和OBE教育理念,重构模块化课程内容,开发具有自主知识产权的沙盘、游戏等教学资源,设计场景化学习任务,通过“项目、沙盘、仿真、游戏、竞赛”的方式实施游戏化、沉浸式、体验式教学,打造了趣味课堂,并利用云大物智、移动互联技术,支撑教学目标高效达成。文章以课程中储位规划和配送路线规划两个项目为例,详细阐释了教学整体设计、教学组织、具体实施、成果成效和特色创新等,对职业教育三教改革具有重要的推动意义。

综合教学目标导向的课程教学体系创新——基于BOPPPS方法的探索

Popularising Chemistry in Secondary Schools through the development of Scientific and Technological Literacy for All

While chemistry is popular for children of primary school age, its popularity drops dramatically in secondary schools. A potential solution to address this is to recognise the need for greater relevance-relevance to the curriculum, to the needs of society and, in the eyes of the students. The paper tries to puts forward a rethink of the philosophy for school chemistry education, based on the underlying belief that chemistry education is an integral part of education. The target is labelled scientific and technological literacy for all (STL). STL rejects the notion that chemistry is taught solely to acquire the abilities to be a scientist and supports the vision of a single curriculum goal, applicable to all students. Besides being a philosophy, STL is also a teaching approach. This approach is to initiate the teaching of chemistry topics, starting from a carefully chosen society perspective and to introduce the conceptual learning on a need-to-know basis. A limitation is the professional development of teachers. Suggestion for overcoming this involve workshop on materials development. A concern is expressed in cases where teachers make use of ready-made teaching materials (a common practice), without first gaining an understanding and an appreciation of the intended philosophy related to these materials.

Lifestyle Changes in Diet and Physical Activities after Group Education for Type 2 Diabetes—The Active Ingredient in the Education. A Qualitative Study

Background: Diabetes self-management education (DSME) for patients with type 2 diabetes requires efficient teaching methods that make patients want to change lifestyle in terms of their diabetes. The study looks at what may be the active ingredient in this DSME. Objective: To explore how participants in DSME, with an interactive learning method, experienced changes in relation to diet and physical activity. Method: We studied possible changes in diet and physical activity by semi-structured individual interviews of 16 participants attending DSME. Results: Before the DSME, the participants felt insecure about what to eat, and they expressed little interest in changing their physical activity. Just after the DSME, they were more optimistic about diet because they had learned how to interpret food labels and compose their meals. Furthermore, they had experienced the benefit of physical activity in relation to their blood glucose levels. Behavior changes appeared to persist the following half year. We discuss the findings in light of the principles of interactive learning. The participants experienced an effect of their behavior changes, and blood glucose measurement was used as a tool to gain control and reach a state of well-being. Conclusion: From being insecure about what to eat, the patients acquired knowledge to handle their diet through the DSME. They learned how to compose their meals and use physical activity to regulate their blood glucose. We suggest that the interactive learning used in the DSME was an active ingredient that led to changes in behavior and should be considered as an educational method in DSME for patient with type 2 diabetes.

STSE是科学(Science)、技术(Technology)、社会(Society)和环境(Environment)的英文缩写,强调科学、技术、社会和生态环境之间的关联性和相互作用。高职化学教学应重视STSE内容主题的选择与组织,紧密联系生产生活实际,让学生能综合运用所学知识解释STSE相关问题。基于此,本文采用文献资料、内容分析和问卷调查等研究方法,以A高职院校一、二、三年级学生和化学教师为研究对象,对STSE教育理念在高职院校化学教学中的应用现状和问题进行调查分析,并提出积极创设有效的STSE教学情境和选择适当的STSE题材进行科学探究的教学策略,以期为教师在化学课堂中渗透STSE教育理念提供指导和借鉴。

基于培养新型药学人才的药事管理教学改革

药事管理学涉及药学的各个方向,各个层面,与所有药事活动都联系密切。药事管理学是药学类专业的核心课程,也是课程思政的主要阵地。文章基于培养有思想有高度的新型药学人才,以满足我国医药行业高速发展的需求,探索高等院校药学相关专业药事管理学教学的多方位改革。根据当代大学生知识来源丰富和思维表现活跃的时代特点,提出融入思政的教学理念、灵活多样的教学方法、与时俱进的教学内容、多项综合的评价体系,4项并举的立体式课程思政教学模式,并将该教学模式应用到药事管理学的教学过程中。文章对苏州大学药学院3个药学类专业的本科学生,进行了3年的教学实践,取得学生及用人单位的一致好评,为新型药学人才培养过程中相关专业课程的教学模式提供了有益的思路。
