Student Academic Performance Predictive Model Based on Dual-stream Deep Network

Blended teaching is one of the essential teaching methods with the development of information technology.Constructing a learning effect evaluation model is helpful to improve students’academic performance and helps teachers to better implement course teaching.However,a lack of evaluation models for the fusion of temporal and non-temporal behavioral data leads to an unsatisfactory evaluation effect.To meet the demand for predicting students’academic performance through learning behavior data,this study proposes a learning effect evaluation method that integrates expert perspective indicators to predict academic performance by constructing a dual-stream network that combines temporal behavior data and non-temporal behavior data in the learning process.In this paper,firstly,the Delphi method is used to analyze and process the course learning behavior data of students and establish an effective evaluation index system of learning behavior with universality;secondly,the Mann-Whitney U-test and the complex correlation analysis are used to analyze further and validate the evaluation indexes;and lastly,a dual-stream information fusion model,which combines temporal and non-temporal features,is established.The learning effect evaluation model is built,and the results of the mean absolute error(MAE)and root mean square error(RMSE)indexes are 4.16 and 5.29,respectively.This study indicates that combining expert perspectives for evaluation index selection and further fusing temporal and non-temporal behavioral features that for learning effect evaluation and prediction is rationality,accuracy,and effectiveness,which provides a powerful help for the practical application of learning effect evaluation and prediction. 展开更多

Objective: To explore the effectiveness of applying patient simulators combined with Internet Plus scenario simulation teaching models on intravenous (IV) infusion nursing education, and to provide scientific evidence for the implementation of advanced teaching models in future nursing education. Methods: Enrolled 60 nurses who took the IV infusion therapy training program in our hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 for research. 30 nurses who were trained in traditional teaching models from January to December 2022 were selected as the control group, and 30 nurses who were trained with simulation-based teaching models with methods including simulated patients, internet, online meetings which can be replayed and scenario simulation, etc. from January to December 2023 were selected as the experimental group. Evaluated the learning outcomes based on the Competency Inventory for Nursing Students (CINS), Problem-Solving Inventory (PSI), comprehensive learning ability, scientific research ability, and proficiency in the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of IV infusion therapy. Nursing quality, the incidence of IV infusion therapy complications and nurse satisfaction with different teaching models were also measured. Results: The scientific research ability, PSI scores, CINS scores, and comprehensive learning ability of the experimental group were better than those of the control group (P 0.05), and their assessment results of practical skills, nursing quality of IV infusion therapy during training, and satisfaction with teaching models were all better than those of the control group with statistical significance (P < 0.05). The incidence of IV infusion therapy complications in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, indicating statistical significance (P < 0.05). Conclusions: Teaching models based on patient simulators combined with Internet Plus scenario simulation enable nursing students to learn more directly and practice at any time and in any place, and can improve their proficiency in IV infusion theoretical knowledge and skills (e.g. PICC catheterization), core competencies, problem-solving ability, comprehensive learning ability, scientific research ability and the ability to deal with complicated cases. Also, it helps provide high-quality nursing education, improve the nursing quality of IV therapy, reduce the incidence of related complications, and ensure the safety of patients with IV therapy. 展开更多

Objective:To explore the impact of the construction of a clinical midwifery teaching faculty and the development of an evaluation system under the new nursing model on the current teaching quality.Methods:From July 2022 to March 2023,10 clinical teaching teachers and 20 midwifery interns from Beijing Anzhen Hospital affiliated with Capital Medical University were selected as the subjects of this study.The clinical teaching teachers and midwifery interns were divided into an observation group and a control group,with each group including 5 clinical teaching teachers and 10 midwifery interns.The observation group received daily management and evaluation under the new nursing model,while the control group received management and evaluation under the traditional nursing model.The teaching quality evaluation of clinical midwifery teaching teachers by midwifery interns,the exit exam scores of midwifery interns,and the scores of clinical teaching teachers’internship lectures and teaching rounds were compared between the two groups.Results:In the observation group,the scores for teaching attitude,teaching skills,and teaching management in the teaching quality evaluation of clinical midwifery teaching teachers were higher than those in the control group.The professional theory scores(91.28±3.64)and overall nursing comprehensive scores(92.56±4.38)of midwifery interns in the observation group were higher than those of midwifery interns in the control group(81.58±2.27 and 80.29±3.33,respectively).The scores for internship lectures(89.32±4.15)and teaching rounds(90.64±5.52)in the observation group were also significantly higher than those in the control group(80.46±3.28 and 81.24±4.38,respectively),and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The management of the clinical midwifery teaching faculty under the new nursing model effectively improved the quality of clinical teaching.It significantly enhanced the teaching effectiveness of clinical teaching teachers and the proficiency of midwifery interns in clinical operations,making it worthy of promotion and use. 展开更多

Objective:To explore and analyze the work process-based practical training teaching model for basic nursing skills in vocational colleges and its implementation effects.Methods:A total of 82 nursing students from our school were selected for the study,which was conducted from April 2023 to April 2024.Using a random number table method,the students were divided into an observation group and a control group,each with 41 students.The control group received conventional practical training teaching,while the observation group followed the work process-based practical training model for basic nursing skills.The assessment scores and teaching satisfaction of the two groups were compared.Results:The comparison of assessment scores showed that the observation group performed significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).The comparison of teaching satisfaction also indicated that the observation group had significantly higher satisfaction than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The work process-based practical training teaching model for basic nursing skills in vocational colleges can improve students’assessment scores and enhance teaching satisfaction,demonstrating its value for wider application. 展开更多

Objective:To construct a scientific and feasible teaching mode based on 5C caring theory and evaluate it,so as to provide a reference basis for future study about nursing humanistic quality education.Methods:Based on the 5C caring theory,the teaching design and teaching content were revising and implementing in the intervention group.Before and after the implementation of the course,a questionnaire survey was conducted using the Caring Ability Inventory(CAI).The results of the surveys were collected,and the data were statistically analysis using SPSS.Results:After the implementation of the course,the cognitive dimension,patience dimension,and humanistic caring ability scores of the nursing students in the intervention group improved compared with those before the implementation of the course(P<0.05).There were no significant difference in the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion:The humanistic caring teaching model based on 5C caring theory has a positive effect on improving nursing students'humanistic caring ability.In the future nursing teaching,the modules with the characteristics of humanistic caring ability can be increased,and carry out the educational reform throughout the humanistic caring ability.Actively guiding nursing students to establish the awareness of humanistic caring,so as to lay a solid foundation for high-quality clinical nursing work. 展开更多

目的评价以培养临床操作能力为核心的教学模式在中医骨伤科学课堂的效果。方法将辽宁中医药大学2017级中医专业的两个班级分为实验组和对照组。实验组(30例)采用以培养临床操作能力为核心的教学模式,对于查体、正骨手法、夹板固定等操... 目的评价以培养临床操作能力为核心的教学模式在中医骨伤科学课堂的效果。方法将辽宁中医药大学2017级中医专业的两个班级分为实验组和对照组。实验组(30例)采用以培养临床操作能力为核心的教学模式,对于查体、正骨手法、夹板固定等操作类知识点,教师予以示范操作,学生进行角色扮演,分组进行操作演示,由学生评委评分、教师点评;而对照组(31例)则采用传统教学法。观察比较两组中医骨伤科学期末考试成绩的分段与平均分数情况,并对实验组进行问卷调查。结果实验组期末成绩的分段和平均分数情况均显著优于对照组(P<0.05)。对实验组的问卷调查结果表明以培养临床操作能力为核心的教学模式有助于提高学生的临床操作能力,具有一定的创新性。结论以培养临床操作能力为核心的教学模式优于传统教学,值得在中医骨伤科学教学中推广应用。 展开更多
