Application Effect of WeChat Platform Continuity of Care Model Based on KAP Theory on Self-Management of Stroke Patients with Hypertension

Objective: To explore the impact of the WeChat platform continuity of care model based on the KAP (knowledge, attitudes, and practices) theory on the self-management of stroke patients with hypertension after discharge from the hospital. Methods: 62 stroke patients with hypertension discharged from the rehabilitation department of a tertiary A hospital in Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, from October 2022 to April 2023 were sampled by convenience sampling method. Patients discharged from Rehabilitation I were included in the control group, and conventional nursing care was used;while patients discharged from Rehabilitation II were included in the observation group, and WeChat platform continuity of nursing care model based on the KAP theory was implemented. The intervention effect of the two groups was compared. Results: After 4 and 12 weeks of intervention, the diastolic and systolic blood pressure of the patients in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05);after 12 weeks of intervention, the rate of medication adherence and the score of adherence to hypertension treatment in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The application of the WeChat platform continuity of care model based on KAP theory to stroke patients with hypertension can improve blood pressure, medication adherence rate, hypertension treatment adherence, and overall enhance the self-management level of these patients.

Effect Analysis of WeChat Platform Combined with PBL Teaching Method for Standardized Training of Residents in Anesthesiology Department

Objective: To explore and analyze the effect of the WeChat platform combined with the PBL teaching method in the standardized training of anesthesia residents. Methods: 120 anesthesiology residents from January 2018 to the end of December 2019 were selected, and divided into a control group and an observation group of 60 each according to the time sequence of admission. The control group adopted the conventional teaching mode, and the observation group adopted the WeChat platform combined PBL teaching method. The scores of theoretical knowledge and anesthesia skills operation after training, the scores of the teaching interest survey, and the satisfaction with the teaching mode between the two groups were compared. Results: The scores of theoretical knowledge and anesthesia skills operation in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the indicators of teaching interest in the observation group were also higher than those in the control group. The differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The satisfaction degree of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was also statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The WeChat platform combined with the PBL teaching method is beneficial to improve the training effect of anesthesiology residents, stimulating autonomous learning ability, ensuring the effective practice of theoretical knowledge, and promoting them to move towards a higher standard of anesthesia skills.

College Students’ Use of Impoliteness Expression in the WeChat Diction

The purpose of this study was to investigate college students’ use of impoliteness expressions in WeChat diction and what factors influence college students’ use of impoliteness expressions. In-depth interview was used. The chatting records of a large WeChat group with 134 members—Hubin 12 Housings’ 2021 graduate Management group in a comprehensive university in Wuhan in the latest month were analyzed. 10 college students who were members of that WeChat group were interviewed. The interview was related to their inner activities when using impoliteness expressions and what factors could influence their use of impoliteness expressions. The results showed that college students were more likely to use motivated impoliteness, informational impoliteness and strategic impoliteness. College students’ use of impoliteness expressions were influenced by gender, social status and the relationship between the speaker and the hearer. The paper could provide a new study area for researchers. It will attract researchers’ attention on the use of impolite language, especially among different roles of people in society.

A Multimodal Critical Discourse Analysis of Lingnan Cultural Promotional Videos on Social Media

In recent years,more and more directors of culture and tourism have taken part in the promotion of local cultural tourism by cross-dressing,talent shows,and pushing their limits on self-media platforms.This study investigates short videos of Lingnan culture promoted by directors general and deputy directors general of the Culture,Radio,Television,Tourism,and Sports Bureau of counties and cities in Guangdong Province on social media by the method of multimodal critical discourse analysis.The analysis of 33 videos shows that Lingnan culture is a domineering and confident culture,historical culture,graceful and elegant culture,and vibrant and active culture.Domineering and confident culture is embedded in the utterances and behaviors of the directors general or deputy directors general in the video.Historical culture is realized through the conversation with historical figures through time travel.Graceful and elegant culture is constructed in the depiction of sceneries and the depiction of characters’manners.Vibrant and active culture is represented in the depiction of the characters’actional process and analytical process.

基于WeChat Public公众平台联合慕课强化实践能力教学模式在外科教学中应用研究。方法 以60例实习生为例,将其分为两组对不同教学方式的价值分析,评估外科教学中WeChat Public公众平台联合慕课教学模式的价值。结果 两组患者研究对象成绩评分对比有差异,(P<0.05)。两组患者自我导向学习能力评分对比,带教后评分有差异,(P<0.05)。两组学生自我学习效果评价评分有差异,(P<0.05)。两组研究对象临床能力评分有差异,(P<0.05)。两组实习生对教学方式满意度,有差异,(P<0.05)。结论 外科教学中应用WeChat Public公众平台联合慕课教学模式能够有效的提高实习生的临床能力,学生的成绩更高,学生的自我学习能力更强,有推广的价值。

Research on the Training Mode of “the Combination of College Students’ Extracurricular English Autonomous Learning and Chinese Culture” Based on WeChat Platform

In today’s college English extracurricular learning,college students often neglect the combination of English language learning and the input of Chinese traditional cultural knowledge,paying too much attention to Western culture learning,ignoring their traditional culture and lead to be speechless when encountering cultural exchange activities.The author believes that college students should pay attention to the input of Chinese traditional cultural content in the process of independent English learning outside the classroom.The creative team of college students led by the author through the WeChat platform,in Xinjiang Agricultural University,conducted a combination of Chinese culture input and English autonomous learning,aiming at strengthening the effectiveness of English learning,improving the self-learning ability and intercultural communication skills.

Effects of WeChat platform-based health management on health and self-management effectiveness of patients with severe chronic heart failure

BACKGROUND Epidemiological studies have found that the prevalence of chronic heart failure in China is 0.9%,the number of people affected is more than 4 million,and the 5-year survival rate is even lower than that of malignant tumors.AIM To determine the impact of WeChat platform-based health management on severe chronic heart failure patients’health and self-management efficacy.METHODS A total of 120 patients suffering from chronic heart failure with cardiac function grade III-IV,under the classification of the New York Heart Association,were admitted to our hospital in May 2017.In January 2020,they were divided into two groups:A control group(with routine nursing intervention)and an observation group(with WeChat platform-based health management intervention).Changes in cardiac function,6-min walking distance(6MWD),high-sensitivity cardiac troponin(hs-cTnT),and N-terminal pro B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)were detected in both groups.The Self-Care Ability Scale(ESCA)score,Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire score,and compliance score were used to evaluate self-management ability,quality of life,and compliance of the two groups.During a follow-up period of 12 mo,the occurrence of cardiovascular adverse events in both the groups was counted.RESULTS The left ventricular ejection fraction,stroke output,and 6MWD increased,and the hs-cTnT and NT-proBNP decreased in both the groups,as compared to those before the intervention.Further,cardiac function during the 6MWD,hs-cTnT,and NT-proBNP improved significantly in the observation group after intervention(P<0.05).The scores of self-care responsibility,self-concept,self-care skills,and selfcare health knowledge in the observation group were higher than those of the control group before intervention,and their ESCA scores were significantly improved after intervention(P<0.05).The Minnesota heart failure quality of life(LiHFe)scores of physical restriction,disease symptoms,psychological emotion,social relations,and other items were decreased compared to those of the control group before intervention,and the LiHFe scores of the observation group were significantly improved compared to those of the control group(P<0.05).With intervention,the compliance scores of rational diet,regular medication,healthy behavior,and timely reexamination were increased,thereby leading to the compliance scores of the observation group being significantly improved compared to those of the control group(P<0.05).During the 12 mo follow-up,the incidence rates of acute myocardial infarction and cardiogenic rehospitalization in the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the hospitalization time in the observation group was shorter than that of the control group,but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).CONCLUSION WeChat platform-based health management can improve the self-care ability and compliance of patients with severe chronic heart failure,improve the cardiac function and related indexes,reduce the occurrence of cardiovascular adverse events,and enable the avoidance of rehospitalization.

WeChat Group of Chest Pain Center for Patients with Acute ST-segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction:Faster Treatment Speed and Better Prognosis

Objective:To explore the effect of establishing a WeChat platform for a chest pain center as a medium to increase the treatment speed and improve the prognosis of patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI)undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention(PPCI).Methods:The chest pain center,established by the creation of a WeChat group,included primary hospitals in Chongqing that are not able to perform PPCI and the First Affi liated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University,which is the core of the center and which includes medical staff of the catheter laboratory,the cardiology department,the emergency,the vascular surgery department,and the cardiothoracic surgery department.Patients with acute STEMI who underwent PPCI from January 2017 to November 2018 in the First Affi liated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University were enrolled.The patients(including emergency department visitors,120 callers,and patients transferred from the critical care unit or other departments)were divided into a WeChat pre-admission startup group(n=311)and a non-WeChat pre-admission startup group(control group,n=172).Patients’door-to-balloon time,standard door-toballoon time achievement rate,artery puncture to balloon dilation time,heart failure rate,length of stay,and incidence of adverse events(including fatal arrhythmia,cardiogenic shock,and death)during hospitalization were compared between the two groups.Results:Four hundred eight-three consecutive patients were enrolled.There was no signifi cant difference in patients’sex,age,length of stay,and cardiovascular events during hospitalization between the two groups(P>0.05).The door-to-balloon time of the patients in the WeChat pre-admission startup group was much shorter than that of patients in the non-WeChat pre-admission startup group(27.35±10.58 min vs.88.15±53.79 min,P<0.05).The standard door-to-balloon time achievement rate was signifi cantly higher in the WeChat pre-admission startup group than in the non-WeChat pre-admission startup group(100%vs.72.09%,P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of a WeChat platform signifi cantly shortened the door-to-balloon time of patients receiving PPCI and increased the standard door-to-balloon time achievement rate for patients with STEMI.In addition,the platform is also conducive to integrating medical resources and sharing medical information.The establishment of the platform increased the treatment speed and improved the prognosis of patients with STEMI.

Design of a WeChat Learning Platform for Syndrome Differentiation

Objective To design a WeChat mini program called Chinese Syndrome Differentiation Learning Platform(CSDLP)on smartphone to improve health literacy.Methods The developer tools of WeChat(Version:v1.01.170925)were used for designing and debugging the mini program.SPSS17.0 was used for statistical purposes.“View container”“Basic content”“Form component”“Navigation”and“Media components”were used for the development of the WeChat mini program.The detailed method was referred to https://mp.weixin.qq.com/debug/wxadoc/dev/.Results A WeChat mini program called CSDLP was developed.This program has three major functions which are WeChat reading,WeChat class and WeChat syndrome differentiation.The official test report showed that there were no functionality errors for the seven android smartphones(referred to as A,B,C,D,E,F and G)that CSDLP was tested on.Statistical analysis results showed that the average memory in D,E,F and G was lower than in A,B and C.Average ratio was the highest in F and the lowest in G.The average loading time was the same for all smartphones.The audio database for diagnostics using traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)and a lecture video database were based on diagnostic textbook.Our team built a syndrome differentiation database which included 51 diseases.Conclusion CSDLP can improve knowledge visualization,studying process,and information sharing in terms of the training and development of new techniques for syndrome differentiation and treatment in TCM,and it can provide a better illustration for people to understand TCM.

How mobile messaging apps users share information on WeChat: The role of demographic variables

Purpose： We conducted an empirical study to find out the role of demographic variables in affecting information sharing behaviors of college student users of WeChat.Design/methodology/approach： A questionnaire survey was carried out to investigate the relationship between demographic variables （gender, grade level, dating status, and singleparent family background） and information sharing behaviors of WeChat users. The participants were college students and a total of 255 valid questionnaires were collected. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis.Findings： Grade level and single-parent family background were found to be significantly correlated with information sharing behaviors whereas no effect of gender was found on information sharing behaviors. Dating status had no significant impact on user browsing behavior, but was related to users＇ publishing posts and posting replies.Implications： The study will help understand individual differences in information sharing among WeChat users.Limitations： First, the relatively small sample size is a limitation in exploring the effects of demographic variables on user information sharing behaviors. Second, this study only used questionnaire surveys to collect data and more research methods such as interviews should be adopted to improve the accuracy of the study results.Originality/value： This paper is one of the first studies to explore the relationship between demographic variables and user information sharing behaviors on WeChat.

Thoughts on the Development of Meteorological Wechat Public Platform

As a modern communication software, Wechat is favored by many young people due to its fast spreading, large influence and numerous customers. In the process, the establishment of meteorological Wechat public platform could play the effects of disaster prevention and mitigation and improving service capacity without changing the advantages of Wechat. In view of this, by analyzing Wetchat and its public platform, main functions of meteorological Wechat public platform are expounded, and development prospects of the public platform are cleared from multiple perspectives.

Accurate recognition of the reproductive development status and prediction of oviposition fecundity in Spodoptera frugiperda(Lepidoptera:Noctuidae)based on computer vision

Spodoptera frugiperda(Lepidoptera:Noctuidae)is an important migratory agricultural pest worldwide,which has invaded many countries in the Old World since 2016 and now poses a serious threat to world food security.The present monitoring and early warning strategies for the fall army worm(FAW)mainly focus on adult population density,but lack an information technology platform for precisely forecasting the reproductive dynamics of the adults.In this study,to identify the developmental status of the adults,we first utilized female ovarian images to extract and screen five features combined with the support vector machine(SVM)classifier and employed male testes images to obtain the testis circular features.Then,we established models for the relationship between oviposition dynamics and the developmental time of adult reproductive organs using laboratory tests.The results show that the accuracy of female ovary development stage determination reached 91%.The mean standard error(MSE)between the actual and predicted values of the ovarian developmental time was 0.2431,and the mean error rate between the actual and predicted values of the daily oviposition quantity was 12.38%.The error rate for the recognition of testis diameter was 3.25%,and the predicted and actual values of the testis developmental time in males had an MSE of 0.7734.A WeChat applet for identifying the reproductive developmental state and predicting reproduction of S.frugiperda was developed by integrating the above research results,and it is now available for use by anyone involved in plant protection.This study developed an automated method for accurately forecasting the reproductive dynamics of S.frugiperda populations,which can be helpful for the construction of a population monitoring and early warning system for use by both professional experts and local people at the county level.

The effects of the application of WeChat as a platform combined with problem-based learning in nursing teaching in China:a systematic review and meta-analysis

Background:Recently,WeChat application has been widely applied in the field of nursing education in China.Among them,WeChat as a platform combined with problem-based learning(PBL)teaching method is a commonly used method in nursing teaching,however,no unanimous consensus on the effectiveness of the application of nursing teaching.Purpose:The purpose of this meta-analysis is to systematically evaluate the effectiveness of WeChat as a platform combined with PBL teaching method in nursing teaching for Chinese nursing students from four aspects:nursing students'performance,ability,learning interest and teaching satisfaction.Methods:The following English and Chinese databases were searched for relevant articles:PubMed,Embase,Cochrane library,Web of Science,China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),WanFang Database,VIP Database and Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(CBM).The search timeframe was set fromthe establishment of these databaseto August 2021.Two reviewers separately screened records,abstracted data,and assessed risk of bias in trials included.Review Manager Software 5.3 was used to analyze data.Results:A total of 11 randomized controlled trials(RCTs)were included.The results of this meta-analysis showed that WeChat combined with PBL teaching method can significantly improve theory examination(SMD=2.50,95%CI:1.69 to 3.30,P<0.001),operation skill(SMD=2.32,95%CI:1.47 to 3.18,P<0.001),comprehensive ability(SMD=3.18,95%CI:1.59 to 4.76,P<0.001),and learning interest(SMD=3.08,95%CI:1.44 to 4.72,P<0.001)in Chinese nursing students,and increase nursing students on teachers'teaching satisfaction(SMD=2.64,95%CI:0.39 to 4.89,P<0.001).Conclusion:WeChat combined with PBL teaching method can significantly enhance Chinese nursing students'knowledge mastery and application,improve their comprehensive ability and learning interest,and improve classroom teaching effect.College nursing educators should consider adopting WeChat combined with PBL teaching method in nursing education to fully demonstrate its application value.

Application of Five-in-One Community Management Mode plus Wuhan’s Regional WeChat Platform in the Novel Coronavirus Control

In this study, the five-in-one community mass prevention and mass treatment group established in Wuhan to curb novel coronavirus outbreak in 2019 to 2020 is introduced. Various public health propaganda methods are used, including community loudspeakers and community bulletin boards. In the meantime, WeChat platform account named “Wuhan neighborhood on WeChat” is registered and opened, and a Group Chat on WeChat is created for grid management. A diversity of on-line and off-line countermeasures against the novel coronavirus outbreak are implemented via the WeChat platform: three-early measures (early discovery, early reporting, and early treatment), centralized management, community-based reporting, hierarchical diagnosis, and treatment system, isolation of mild patients at designated facilities, diagnosis and treatment appointment system for patients with fever, patient transferral in special vehicles, terminal disinfection at homes, psychological support and daily caring plan for special populations. This WeChat platform allows for an all-region, all-around, all-time and entire population-coverage control of novel coronavirus outbreak, with the extension and strengthening of health propaganda, guidance for seeking medical assistance, mass prevention and mass treatment, and health self-management among the community residents. Great effect has been achieved in novel coronavirus control so far. The five-in-one community management mode of Wuhan plus “Wuhan neighborhood on WeChat” plays an important role in relieving the shortage of health service resources and resolving the problem of limited service scope of professional medical staff in Wuhan, and ultimately contributes to the overall novel coronavirus control.

A Study on the Legal Status of Procurement Service Providers on WeChat and Related Legal Regulations

The Effect of WeChat Usage on Upward Social Comparison in Undergraduates

To explore the status of undergraduates’WeChat usage and upward social comparison,and analyze the relationship between the above two variables.Totally 754 WeChat undergraduates were selected through poster recruitment from 5 colleges in Guangdong Province.They were investigated with Access Frequency to Social Networking Site Scale(AFSNSS),Upward Social Comparison Subscale of Iowa-Nwtherlands Comparison Orientation Measure(INCOM-USCS).The score of overall emotional engagement(OEE)of AFSNSS and the total standard score of INCOM–USCS(TSSI-U)were(22.41±4.70)and(0±4.5),respectively.The correlation between WeChat frequency and TSSI-U was not significant.TSSI-U was significantly positively correlated with the score of OEE and other items of AFSNSS(r=0.161~0.413,P<0.01).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that The scores of item 1,7and 8 of AFSNSS,as well as family economic status,grade ranking of academic performance(GRAP)and the purpose of WeChat use were postively correlated with TSSI-U(β=.104~.234,P<.05).Class cadre or not and origin were negatively correlated with TSSI-U(β=-.089,-.130,P<.05).Conclusion:It suggests that WeChat usage may be a related factor for undergraduates’upward social comparison.
