In this letter, a novel VAD algorithm, SVAD algorithm based on Fuzzy Neural Network Knowledge Discovery (FNNKD) method is proposed. The performance of SVAD algorithm is discussed and compared with traditional algorithm recommended by ITU G.729B in different situations.
