Dynamic adsorption processes of reaction intermediates for alkaline hydrogen evolution(HER)catalysts are still confusing to understand.Here,we report a series of A-site ordered quadruple perovskite ruthenium-based ele...Dynamic adsorption processes of reaction intermediates for alkaline hydrogen evolution(HER)catalysts are still confusing to understand.Here,we report a series of A-site ordered quadruple perovskite ruthenium-based electrocatalysts ACu_(3)Ru_(4)O_(12)(A=Na,Ca,Nd,and La),with the target sample SrCu_(3)Ru_(4)O_(12)exhibiting a very low overpotential(46 mV@10 mA·cm^(-2))and excellent catalytic stability with little decays after 48-h durability test.Precise tuning A-site cations can change the average valence state of Cu and Ru,thus the plot of HER activity versus the average Ru valence number shows a volcano-type relationship.Density functional theory indicates that the Ru 4d orbitals of SrCu3Ru4O12possesses the most suitable d-band center position among the five samples,which might be the key parameter to determine the catalytic performance.Our work provides further insight into the discovering advanced,efficient hydrogen evolution catalysts through designing precise descriptor.展开更多

Finite element ( FE ) analysis on hydroforming car beam was carried out, a...Perfect combination of structural size parameters of the hydroforming billets is essential to obtain even wall thicknesses of the car beam. Finite element ( FE ) analysis on hydroforming car beam was carried out, and the results were optimized according to multiple quality objectives by the grey system theory. With bending angle, bending radius and hight difference along the axis direction as variables, orthogonal FE analyses were conducted and the minimum and maximum wall thicknes ses of the billets with different sizes were obtained. Taking the minimum and maximum wall thick nesses as two references, the correlation coefficient between the data for reference and those for comparison by the grey system theory reduced multi objectives to a single quality objective, and the average correlation level of every billet facilitated the optimization of size parameters for hydroform ing car beam. The trial production showed that the optimization approach satisfied the need of hy droforming car beams.展开更多

This type of problem is important because there are several uncertain varia...An uncertain multi-objective programming problem is a special type of mathematical multi-objective programming involving uncertain variables. This type of problem is important because there are several uncertain variables in real-world problems.Therefore, research on the uncertain multi-objective programming problem is highly relevant, particularly those problems whose objective functions are correlated. In this paper, an approach that solves an uncertain multi-objective programming problem under the expected-variance value criterion is proposed. First, we define the basic framework of the approach and review concepts such as a Pareto efficient solution and expected-variance value criterion using an order relation between various uncertain variables.Second, the uncertain multi-objective problem is converted into an uncertain single-objective programming problem via a linear weighted method or ideal point method. Then the problem is transformed into a deterministic single objective programming problem under the expected-variance value criterion. Third, four lemmas and two theorems are proved to illustrate that the optimal solution of the deterministic single-objective programming problem is an efficient solution to the original uncertainty problem. Finally, two numerical examples are presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.展开更多

Independent from the motion and deformation of contours,the human nature structure( HNS) embodies the most basic movement characteristics of the body. The human body can be divided into basic units like head,torso,and limbs. Using these basic units,a graph theory model for the HNS can be constructed. GMH provides a basic model for human posture processing,and the outline in the perspective projection plane is the body contour of an image. In addition,the GMH can be applied to articulated motion and deformable objects,e. g.,in the design and analysis of body posture,by modifying mapping parameters of the GMH.展开更多

We developed bodies’ immerse...The development work focuses on the numerical simulations of free body movement in viscous fluid. The aim is to make the simulation of very slow motion of the small body in viscous fluid. We developed bodies’ immersed dynamics simulations in viscous fluid by seeking numerical solutions for appropriate field variables. We developed the methods for vertically and spherically cylindrical objects’ motions, the forces on bodies close to a plane stationary wall are computed from the velocity and pressure fields using the Stokes equation through COMSOL Multiphysics finite element software. The Navier-Stokes equation is reduced to Stokes equation there is independence of time which means object will have an effect only on the motion and the slightly compressible flow assumption is made in order to obtain smooth solution numerically. The forces on an object in slightly compressible Stokes flow have been exerted on the falling objects. The resulting forces have compared with analytical results from the Reynolds Lubrication Theory, and achieved significant results from the development method in Matlab and achieved significant numerical simulations in COMSOL. In addition, an investigation has been made to an object swimming at low Reynolds number. At low Reynolds number moving is possible when object scale is small and flow pattern is slow and sticky. We have developed a system for a thin two-dimensional (2D) worm-like object wiggle that is passing a wave along its centreline and its motion has simulated by the Ordinary Differential Equations (ODE) system and by the Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) moving mesh technology. The development method result shows that it is possible for the small object to have a motion from one position to another through small amplitudes and wavelengths in viscous fluid.展开更多

Mathematical vehicle ОCDs are models, methods, algebra of operations of objective analysis and their configuring with the use of the component algebra of running, evolution and transformation of data types that are passed between objects through interfaces. This work aims at developing a model that solves a multi objective distribution programming problem involving imprecise available supply, forecast demand, budget and unit cost/ profit coefficients with triangular possibility distributions. This algorithm aims to simultaneously minimize cost and maximize profit with reference to available supply constraint at each source, forecast demand constraint at each destination and budget constraint. Trajectory prediction for the movement of a given object is one of the main tasks for the classical mechanics but in orthodox quantum mechanics,this task was announced to be an impossibility for the(sub-)atomic partic...Trajectory prediction for the movement of a given object is one of the main tasks for the classical mechanics but in orthodox quantum mechanics,this task was announced to be an impossibility for the(sub-)atomic particles by famous Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle.Of course,such an epistemology is against the philosophical beliefs of many scientists and currently another version of trajectory quantum mechanics known as Bohmian mechanics also exists.In order to unify the conflicts among classical mechanics,quantum mechanics,and relativity theory,a new general system theory(NGST)was proposed by the present author and his colleagues.The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate that it is not the scale that matters but the living nature whether the object is lifeless or living.By using the psychic force concept introduced in NGST,Newton’s second law is applied to analyze five different types of objects.They are a stone,a coin,a cat,a person,and an electron.It is found that the classical mechanics has provided adequate room to explain the various newly observed phenomena for orthodox quantum mechanics and relativity theory and for human beings various parapsychological phenomena can also be explained by classical mechanics.Therefore,it is concluded that generalization of classical mechanics is adequate and no need to develop revolutionary quantum mechanics and relativity theory.展开更多
