The inherent vis...A series of novel poly（aryl ether nitrile）s containing phthalazinone moiety were synthesized by the nucleophilic displacement reaction of bisphenol-like monomers （I） with 2,6-difluorobenzonitrile. The inherent viscosities ranged from 0.46 to 1.07 dL g^-1. The glass transition temperatures were in the range of 277-295℃, and the temperatures for 10% weight loss in nitrogen atmosphere were found between 495 and 527 ℃. The structures of these resultant polymers were confirmed by FT-IR and 1^H NMR. Moreover, the properties of poly（aryl ether nitrile）s including solubility and crystallinity were also studied.展开更多
Chloromethylated poly（phthalazinone ether sulfone ketone） （CMPPESK） was prepared from poly（phthalazinone ether sulfone ketone） （PPESK） using chloromethyl octyl ethers （CMOE） with lower toxicity as chlorometh...Chloromethylated poly（phthalazinone ether sulfone ketone） （CMPPESK） was prepared from poly（phthalazinone ether sulfone ketone） （PPESK） using chloromethyl octyl ethers （CMOE） with lower toxicity as chloromethylated regent. CMPPESK was soluble in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone （NMP）, N,N-dimethylacetamide （DMAc） and chloroform. Quaternized poly（phthalazinone ether sulfone ketone） （QAPPESK） was prepared from CMPPESK by quaternization. QAPPESK had excellent solvent resistance, which was only partly soluble in sulfuric acid （98%） and swollen in N,N-dimethylformamide （DMF）. The vanadium redox flow battery （V-RFB） using QAPPESK anion-exchange membrane had better performance with 88.3% of overall energy efficiency.展开更多

These polymers had high glass transition temperatures above 300C and they lost 10% weight between 426~475C in N2. The structure of diamine 1 and the polymers was confirmed by IR, 1H NMR and MS. The obtained polymers were readily soluble in polar solvents such as NMP, m-cresol etc. and easily cast into tough, flexible films. The X-ray indicated that they are all amorphous.展开更多

The glass transition temperatures of polyarylates were in the range of 217-272℃. The temperatures at 10% weight loss of polyarylates were found to be in the range of 434-464℃ in nitrogen atmosphere and their structure was confirmed by FTIR and IH NMR. The polymers exhibited good thermal properties with Tgs ranging from 267℃ to 306℃ and 5% weight loss temperatures in nitrogen higher than 430℃, together with high char yield upon prolonged heating at 800℃ （35%-56%）. Moreover, the polymers were readily soluble in common organic solvents, such as N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, chloroform and m-cresol. These polymers had inherent viscosities in the range of 0.45-0.72 dL/g and could be cast into flexible and colorless films by spin coating or casting approach.展开更多
A novel unsymmetrical fluorinated diamine monomer with kink non-coplanar heterocyclic structures, 1,2-dihydro- 2-（4-amino-2-trifluoromethyophenyo）-4-[4-（4-amino-2-trifluoromethyophenoxy）phenyo]（2H）phthaoazin-1-o...A novel unsymmetrical fluorinated diamine monomer with kink non-coplanar heterocyclic structures, 1,2-dihydro- 2-（4-amino-2-trifluoromethyophenyo）-4-[4-（4-amino-2-trifluoromethyophenoxy）phenyo]（2H）phthaoazin-1-oneo was prepared through the nucleophilic substitution reaction of 1-trifluromethyl-2-chloro-5-nitrobenzene with 1,2-dihydro-4-（4- hydroxyphenyl）（2H）phthalazin-l-one in the presence of potassium carbonate, followed by catalytic reduction with hydrazine and Pd-C. A series of new fluorinated polyarnides were synthesized by the phosphorylation polyamidation of the fluorinated diamine with various dicarboxylic acids. The prepared polymers were obtained in quantitative yields with moderately and high inherent viscosities （0.47-0.87 dL/g）. They were all amorphous and readily soluble in various polar aprotic solvents such as N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone （NMP）, N,N-dimethylformamide （DMF）, N,N-dimethylacctamide （DMAc）, pyridine （Py） and m-cresol at room temperature. These fluorinated polyamides have excellent thermal properties. The glass transition temperatures were all above 300℃. The 5% and 10% weight loss temperatures were in the range of 437-466℃ and 482-525℃ in nitrogen atmosphere, respectively.展开更多
