In the information age,blended teaching,no matter online or offline,has become the mainstream of college teaching reform.In this teaching model,self-directed learning and cooperative learning are the two main learning...In the information age,blended teaching,no matter online or offline,has become the mainstream of college teaching reform.In this teaching model,self-directed learning and cooperative learning are the two main learning approaches.On the online teaching platform,students mainly learn knowledge-based content by self-directed learning,while practising their language skills by cooperative learning in flipped classroom activities.On one hand,it advocates student-centered strategy so as to improve students autonomous learning ability;on the other hand,teachers serve as a guide to organize the classroom activities;meanwhile,they give timely feedback to students in order to promote students’learning ability.In blended teaching model,this mutually compatible and reinforcing model of self-directed learning and cooperative learning is undoubtedly helpful to improve the teaching efficiency.展开更多

However, the educational objective of the higher vocational colleges is to cultivate practical talents. Therefore, the reformation and innovation of the higher vocational education teaching mode must be carried out. This research analyses the effect of autonomous cooperative teaching mode in higher vocational colleges. The reformation of teaching mode consists of the following three parts first, the autonomous cooperative teaching needs to improve the existing education system, to lay the foundation for the work of education. Secondly, to strengthen the capacity of building and promote the full implementation of the project is essential. Finally, strengthen the construction of educational resources, and enrich the connotation of the carrier. Proved by practice, the independent collaborative teaching mode can not only improve the learning atmosphere, but also improve student achievement, but also do well to students’ all-round development and enhance their comprehensive quality. This paper describes an experiment aimed to promote learner autonomy and cooperation among college students. A new teaching mode was used in a class, which has 38 students and the class was chosen randomly from 9 classes of the first year students in Wuhan Commercial Service College. Analysis statistics and questionnaire information indicated that the new teaching mode introduced was effective both in helping students acquire knowledge and in promoting learner autonomy and cooperation. The result of the experiment provides a quotable teaching mode for English teachers of colleges.展开更多

As a kind of competence which is more important than knowledge, cooperation is becoming a rather important accomplishment of people, which is quite popular among them. For a long time, the traditional teaching mode in our country is neither helpful to the development of the main role of students', nor to the students' cooperative consciousness or competence. Therefore, during the new round of curriculum reform, changing the students' learning methods has been a focus of people.
