Methods: The vegetative and filamentous cells of PA were transferred into physiological saline and distilled water under 37 C and 28 C respectively and their morphological variationsand surviving process were observed dynamically. Results: It was found that PA appeared in the filamentousand dark-short forms alternatively in water. In the process of alternative changes, a large amount of bacterialcells died and a small number of them underwent cryptic growth order alternation to survive. Conclusion:The variations of the vegetative and filamentous cells of PA in water possess a determinate aperiodicity andtheir surviving process exists in the form similar to an attenuated damping oscillation.展开更多
