The grading judgment for apples is related to a variety of factors including,size,shape,color,texture,and scars.Traditional manual sorting methods are time consuming and labor intensive.In addition,the accuracy of the...The grading judgment for apples is related to a variety of factors including,size,shape,color,texture,and scars.Traditional manual sorting methods are time consuming and labor intensive.In addition,the accuracy of the method is easily subjective,not repeatable,error-prone,and affected by the sorting environment.This paper presents a complete and automated grading system for apples.The system uses a single-chip microcomputer as the controller of the system,and a PC as the graphics processing unit.It also includes a conveyor,drive motor,frequency converter for motor control,photoelectric sensors,air compressor,and air jets for ejecting the graded apples.The classification algorithm is implemented by using a convolutional neural network(CNN).In order to eliminate contact damage of apples,the system specifically uses air jets as actuators to eject the graded apples into the corresponding bins.At the same time,in order to ensure that an apple triggers the correct ejecting actuator,this paper designs a jet controller with proper logic.展开更多

However, there are growing demands for ECRH system as the physical experiments progress which meanwhile adds the difficulty of designing and building the control system of its power source. In this paper, the method of designing a control system based on Single Chip Microcomputer (SCM) and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) is introduced according to its main requirements. The experimental results show that the control system in this paper achieves the conversion of different working modes, gets exact timing, and realizes the failure protection in 10us thus can be used in the ECRH system.展开更多

In this system two...In order to reduce dependence of operating skill ,fuzzy control system is developed, the core of which is a 16 bit Single Chip Microcomputer of Intel 80C196KC.It is realized by software programming. In this system two fuzzy controller are designed. The PID parameter self adjusting fuzzy controller is used to compensate welding current deviation in the process of arc voltage optimized control. To obtain the optimum result of ultimate frequency of short circuit transfer, the self optimizing fuzzy controller carries out the arc voltage self optimizing by under the condition of the given welding current. Arc voltage and welding current are kept the optimum matching relationship by two fuzzy controllers.展开更多
