Motivation has been a concept of interest for behavioral and cognitive scientists for its significant contribution to human behaviors and conducts. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between int...Motivation has been a concept of interest for behavioral and cognitive scientists for its significant contribution to human behaviors and conducts. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between intrinsic motivation to academic accomplishment (IMTA) and psychosocial wellbeing among university students in Jordan. Methods: cross sectional correctional design utilized to collect data from 218 university students in regards to motivation to academic accomplishment, social support, life satisfaction, optimism, and depressive symptoms. The results showed that university students in Jordan had low moderate level of IMAT, and that IMAT had positive association with perceived social support from family (r = 0.17, p r = 0.14, p r = 0.19, p None of the psychosocial factors were found to be significant predictor of IMATA, while age group and working status were significant ones (p < 0.05). Moreover, there was significant difference in IMTA in regards to age groups showing that 1st and 2nd year’s students had higher IMTA than their counterparts in higher academic levels. Implication for mental health counselors at the students’ health services and centers were discussed.展开更多

Tourist's satisfaction degree is one of the important indexes to evaluate the service quality of scenic spot.Taking Xi'an Dongda Hot Spring Resort Area for an example,with the expectation difference theory and...Tourist's satisfaction degree is one of the important indexes to evaluate the service quality of scenic spot.Taking Xi'an Dongda Hot Spring Resort Area for an example,with the expectation difference theory and customers' satisfaction evaluation model as the theoretical basis of the research,the overall satisfaction degree of tourists to hot spring resort area,and the actual sensation accomplishments and the expectation difference of each service index were analyzed by using regression analysis and paired sample t test method.The results showed:① The overall satisfaction degree of tourists to the resort area was higher.There were remarkable correlation among three variables:the sensation value,the overall satisfaction degree,and the tourist's loyalty degree;② Generally,the sensation actual accomplishments of 15 service appraisal factors were higher than the expectation value.According to the characteristics,these 15 service appraisal factors were divided into 5 groups.Some unsatisfactory aspects were found out,and the corrective measures were put forward.展开更多

Data were collected among a random sampling of 270 College English Teachers who filled out the Chinese M...This study aims to examine the prevalence of job burnout and its probable causes among College English teachers. Data were collected among a random sampling of 270 College English Teachers who filled out the Chinese Maslach Burnout Inventory ( CMBI) and a socio-demographic inventory. The findings indicate that College English Teachers register a low-to-average degree of job burnout with the detection rate of 75. 4% . Group differences on the three dimensions are determined by different factors. Reduced personal accomplishment shows significant difference on gender and marital status. Emotional exhaustion shows significant difference on highest degree and number of years on the job. Differences on all three dimensions are observed concerning academic title and school type,though not significant.展开更多
