Characteristic Town Environment Design Based on Brand Community——A Case Study of the Forest Hot Spring Township in Ninghai

Brand community is a specific,geographically-unconstrained community based on specific brands and is constructed with consumer groups of different levels,choices and territories. The development issues of characteristic towns were incorporated into the perspective of brand communities,and the development connotation of characteristic towns was discussed in light of the definition,constituent elements and characteristics of brand communities,and a functional platform with organic combination of industry,city,people and literature was established through the exploration of Ninghai forest hot spring town,combined with local spatial resources. Based on this,the planning and design of Ninghai forest hot spring town will form a characteristic town that integrates industrial functions,cultural functions and community functions.

Green development model and cultivating path for characteristic small town

In the context of the new urbanization,the characteristic town,as a new hotspot to developing rapidly to explore the industry,humanities,community integration town model,a urbanization and high-tech industry development booster,by the government and developers attention.At the same time,the green development model applies to the characteristic town of industrial upgrading and transformation,guiding the future characteristic town of green economic industry development direction.This paper studies the green development model of the characteristic town,and puts forward the implementation of the green industry through the greening industry structure,promoting green consumption and optimizing the green management.

Construction of industrial ecological chain for characteristic small town:A case study of VR Town at Gui-An New District

As the rapid development of the national small characteristic town,some problems began to show through.For example,the spatial structure is not reasonable,the industrial is not harmonious,and the industrial cluster is not obvious and so on.In order to solve these uncoordinated problems and arrange industrial structure properly,to build the industrial ecologic chain construction according to local conditions appears to be critical.Therefore,constructing industrial ecological chain is of importance in academic aspect and practical significance to sustainable development.According to the theory of industrial ecology,this article researches on industrial ecological chain construction of Gui-An New District's VR town.Otherwise,with the principles of vertical supply-demand chain,horizontal collaboration chain,energy utilization chain,material circulation chain and water cycle chain,on the basis of five elements including public environment,service bake up,demand-supply collaboration,management system in a cloud and resource reuse,this paper put forward the industrial ecological chain model of VR town in Gui-An New District and analyze each links detailedly.The purpose is to explore and analyze the industrial ecological chain construction of VR town in Gui-An New District to abundant domestic related theory about small town and play a certain reference significance on other new-type of characteristic urbanization in mountainous region.

Research on domestic characteristic towns: A review

As an important starting point for promoting new-type urbanization and an important platform for advancing supply-side structural reform, characteristic towns have gained strong support at the national policy level and have been rapidly promoted in practice. However, on the academic research level, the research of characteristic towns is lack of systematic. Under these circumstances, this article summarizes the current research on the characteristic town in our country, and makes relevant research and evaluation, with a view to providing reference and basis for further research on the characteristic town.

Endogenous Governance:Governance Way and Realization Path for Construction of Chinese Characteristic Town

As an important carrier of China's new urbanization,characteristic town can inject new vitality into local development,thus it is of great significance to urban-rural integration and rural revitalization.From the perspective of endogenous governance,it is able to fully understand the governance connotations of characteristic towns in the governance framework of image,instrument and action.Interest integration and sustainable development are the essential attributes that endogenous governance endows characteristic towns with vitality.The construction of characteristic towns follows a certain development logic.Roughly,it undergoes the development and transformation process of policy guidance,multiple governance,and endogenous governance.On the basis of this development logic,it is feasible to come up with a realization path for endogenous governance in characteristic towns in terms of functional elements,internal motivation and content innovation.

Construction of Evaluation System for High-quality Development of Characteristic Towns from the Perspective of Production-Living-Ecology Integration

From the perspective of production-living-ecology integration,an evaluation system,involving production quality,living quality and ecological quality,was constructed in this article for high-quality development of characteristic towns.Using Delphi method and analytic hierarchy process,the indices selected based on experience were screened,and the evaluation indices retained were weighted.What's more,relevant suggestions for high-quality development of characteristic towns were put forward from the three aspects of production,living and ecology.

Spatial location differentiation and development decision optimization of characteristic villages and towns in China

Due to rapid urbanization and industrialization,the gap between urban and rural development has gradually increased.Rural development problems have been a significant topic of discussion,and are related to people’s livelihoods.This article built a point-axis-region location driving system to analyze the spatial location differentiation of characteristic villages and towns(CVTS)using the kernel density model,and explored the mechanism of location driving factors with a geographical detector model.The results show that vegetables and fruits are the main types of products in CVTS.They account for 27.60%and 34.68%of all types of products,and occur mainly in the east and central regions of China.Moreover,all point-axis-region driving factors have a significant influence on grain crops.The mean values of driving forces of vegetables and fruits are larger than other types of CVTS,and their values are 0.12 and 0.11.The average driving forces on all CVTS in the northeast are higher than those in other regions,especially the driving forces of vegetables and medicinal crops(0.24 and 0.18,respectively).Finally,we proposed that the Chinese government should employ engineering technology,invest on road networks,e-commerce and blockchain technology to optimize the point-axis-region location advantages,to promote the sustainable development of CVTS.The detection of driving mechanisms on spatial location differentiation of CVTS has important research value for location theory and rural region systems research.

Research on Development and Construction of Characteristic Town

Characteristic town is an innovative development model of urban-rural integration.These small towns with certain characteristics play an important role in China’s economic transformation and urban-rural integration.Through literature search and field surveys,this article reports the existing theoretical achievements,including the conceptualization,significance of construction,and the research status of local/foreign characteristic towns.Besides,this article provides some practical suggestions towards the existing research problems and some reference for the planning and construction of characteristic towns.

Construction of Characteristic Towns in Suburban Areas

The policy background of the construction of characteristic towns in China and the spatial characteristics of suburban towns were studied.The opportunities and challenges of the construction of characteristic towns in the suburbs under the background of new urbanization were discussed.And appropriate planning strategy for the construction of characteristic towns in the suburbs was explored.

Theories and Practices of Remembering Nostalgia in New Urbanization

As the National Conference on New Urbanization proposed, "(new urbanization) should enable residents to see mountains and waters, and remember nostalgia". Nostalgia is a kind of memories and yearning deep in the heart for one's homeland or the place once lived in, it is the softest emotion and also a spiritual need. To keep nostalgia in new urbanization is to preserve history, culture, memories, and humanistic spirits of the homeland, and also to maintain local cultural genes and carry forward rural civilization. The foundation of remembering the nostalgia is to intensify culture protection. And by means of protecting cultural heritage and style of the traditional settlement practically, preserving cultural gene, inheriting cultural memory, creating cultural brand and characteristic landscape etc., the nostalgia can meet the spiritual demands of the residents, such as homesickness, life emotion, historical emotion and cultural emotion in the process of new urbanization. The key of remembering nostalgia is to promote the construction of small characteristic towns. Relying on on-site urbanization, the signifi cant ways of achieving new urbanization are star-studded layout of small towns and the construction of small characteristic tourism town. The construction of Hunan-style Tourism Town is a positive attempt and exploration of remembering nostalgia, and it contributes to the construction of a beautiful and poetic homeland for the human-centered new urbanization.

As China’s economy and society continue to expand,urbanization in China has reached a new stage.In this context,China’s characteristic town development plans,from the national to the local level,provide a new impetus for the expansion of towns and cities,and contribute to rural revitalization.When assessing the universality of regional dynamics,China exhibits high diversity for regional development.This highlights a complex scientific problem associated with describing the underlying linkages and influencing variables between distinct regional characteristic towns.It also complicates the application of tools that support spatial orientation and spatial decision-making.To address this problem,this study proposes a cross-platform analytical framework that unifies data,geography information systems(GIS),unsupervised analysis,visualization,and Geodetector,with Orange as the core.Based on a review of distribution patterns and multi-hierarchical spatial clustering features,this paper focuses on the rise of characteristic towns in China and investigates the primary environmental and human factors influencing spatial heterogeneity in small towns.The findings show that the development level of characteristic towns under the“city-town”system varies across China.Multi-hierarchical cluster analysis effectively reveals the intrinsic features of characteristic towns and facilitates precise spatially-oriented decision-making under different scenarios.In the framework of the“natural-humanistic”and“city-town”systems,the Geodetector effectively measures the spatial stratified heterogeneity of each indicator in the characteristic towns.This reveals an inner logic among the diverse non-linear spatial correlations.Ultimately,the study deeply investigates the individual development of characteristic towns,and the synergistic construction of“city-town”systems,arguing that characteristic towns have the potential to create“city-town”interactive spaces,and the ability to realize“Orange+GIS”cross-platform synergies.
