Metrology of clinical literature on acupuncture for rheumatoid arthritis in China in recent five years

Objective To conduct metrological study on clinical literature on acupuncture in treatment of rheumatoid arthritis（RA） at home in recent five years, providing reference basis and train of thought for clinical scientific research. Methods CNKI was retrieved based on the following search words： acupuncture and moxibustion, acupuncture, electroacupuncture, filiform needle, hand acupuncture, body acupuncture, and rheumatoid arthritis. The general information, diagnostic criteria, treatment principles, treatment methods, amount of stimulation, reinforcing/reducing methods, and efficacy criteria were analyzed. Results Fifty papers were obtained after strict screening, and most clinical reports were randomized controlled trials; there were differences among the diagnostic criteria, treatment principles and efficacy criteria in different reports; there were few literature on acupuncture in treatment of RA simply, most of the literature were about acupuncture combining other therapies. Conclusion The acupoint selection of acupuncture in treatment of RA should be studied further.

Bibliometrics and visual analysis for clinical research on intervention of traditional Chinese medicine nursing technology on rheumatoid arthritis

Objective:The objective of this study is to explore the current situation,clinical research hot spots,and trends of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)nursing technology in rheumatoid arthritis(RA),to draw a panorama of clinical research,to provide the basis and clues for subsequent high-level evidence integration and further in-depth research.Materials and Methods:Seven databases including China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Chinese Scientific Journal Database(VIP),Wanfang Database,Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(Sino-Med),PubMed,Embase,and the Cochrane Library were searched.The bibliometric method and visualization software CiteSpace were used to conduct a multi-dimensional analysis of the included literature.Results:A total of 805 pieces of literature were included(of them,one was written in German and four in English),and the number of published literature showed an increasing trend year by year.There were only 30(3.73%)pieces of literature published in nursing journals.The hot spots of the co-occurrence map were concentrated in:(1)the nursing of fumigation in RA;(2)the efficacy evaluation of TCM nursing technology on pain,joint malformation,and joint dysfunction caused by RA.The included literature themes focused on five TCM technologies:fumigation,moxibustion,acupoint patching,acupoint injection,and Chinese herbal soaking.The beginning year and strength in TCM fumigation were 2012 and 5.2,and those in moxibustion were 2011 and 3.38.Conclusion:The related studies are on the rise.It has entered the field of international readers with clear research hot spots.However,there are still shortcomings such as little literature published in Chinese nursing core journals,few non-Chinese-related documents,and a lack of international exchanges and cooperation.The current research hot spots in this field are TCM fumigation,and the cutting-edge trend of future research may be fumigation and moxibustion technology.It is suggested that further research can focus on evidence integration and original research on the self-optimization of these two techniques.

Schizophrenia nursing research in China from 2010 to 2014:A bibliometric analysis

Objective: This study used a bibliometric analysis to explore the research development of schizo-phrenia nursing in China from 2010 to 2014. Methods: The CNKI, VIP, and CBM databases were used to retrieve articles in China descri-bing schizophrenia nursing that met the predefined criteria from 2010 to 2014. Altogether, 1486 articles were included and analyzed by bibliometric methods. Results: The area of schizophrenia nursing had an annual average publication of 351 papers. The most productive institutions in schizophrenia nursing were located in Guangdong, Jiangsu, and Shandong, followed by Henan and Zhejiang. The papers were mainly published in the Medical Journal of Chinese People’ s Health and then in the International Journal of Nursing and the Chi-nese Journal of Modern Nursing. The study subjects mainly were on schizophrenics and then care-givers of schizophrenics ( including families, nursing assistant, nurse) . The most often used study designs in schizophrenia nursing research were a quasi-experimental study followed by experience reports and an investigational study. The research topics mainly focused on nursing intervention and rehabilitation training, followed by psychological, quality of life and social function. Conclusions: The schizophrenia nursing research has rapidly developed, with extensive content and abundant study topics, over the past 5 years.

Bibliometrics analysis of applied nursing personnel training in China

Objective:To make a visual analysis of literature metrology on the training of applied nursing talents in China,to clarify the research hotspots and development trends,and to provide basic information for the education and teaching reform of applied nursing talents in China.Methods:The literature related to the training of applied nursing talents in China was retrieved from CNKI,Wanfang,Weipu database.NoteExpress was used for removing duplicates,and Bicomb2.0 was used to extract key fields and generate word matrix,which was imported into gCluto1.0 for double cluster analysis.Results:Finally,675 articles met the inclusion and exclusion criteria,the number of articles is increasing yearly.39 high-frequency keywords,such as practice teaching and 9 core authors such as Song Mei are extracted.The results of double cluster analysis showed that the research topics included five aspects:nursing education reform;training of applied nursing talents at different levels;quality of practical teaching;practice teaching reform and laboratory management;application-oriented nursing personnel training mode.Conclusion:The reform and practice of application-oriented nursing talents training in our country are developing continuously,and has gradually received great attention from universities,the local governments and national government departments.The research focuses on the reform of training mode of applied nursing talents at different levels,practice teaching reform,laboratory management and other aspects,which can provide a reference for the reform and practice of applied nursing talents training in China.

Exploration of Clinical Regularities in Acupuncture and Moxibustion Treatment for Allergic Rhinitis

Objective： To review literature from 1956 to 2007 and explore regularities in points selection and methods for acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of allergic rhinitis. Methods： A comprehensive analysis was made by a method of metrological analysis according to the data from ＂China Modem Acupuncture-moxibustion Information Databank＂. Results： Points Yingxiang （LI 20） and Feishu （BL 13） were most frequently used. Acupuncture and hydro-acupuncture were the major treatment methods. Conclusion： It is suggested that Yingxiang （LI 20）, Yintang （Ex-HN 3）, Feishu （BL 13） and Dazhui （GV 14） be used as a basic prescription for acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of allergic rhinitis, which is combined with point selection based on syndrome differentiation.

Methods： A comprehensive analysis was made by a method of metrological review according to the data from ＂China Modem Acupuncture-moxibustion Information Databank＂. Results： It is indicated that points Sanyinjiao （SP 6） and Shenmen （HT 7） were most frequently used. Acupuncture was the main treatment. Conclusion： It is suggested that Baihui （GV 20）, Sishencong （Ex-HN 1）, Sanyinjiao （SP 6） and Shenmen （FIT 7） were used as basic points for acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of insomnia, which is combined with point selection based on syndrome differentiation.

Exploration of the Clinical Regularity of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Treatment for Cerebral Palsy Syndrome

Objective： To review literature from 1954 to 2007 and explore the regularity of point sv.lection and methods for acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of cerebral palsy. Methods： A comprehensive analysis was made by a method of metrological analysis according to the data from ＂China Modem Acupuncture-moxibustion Information Databank＂. Results： Points Zusanli （ST 36）, Quchi （LI 11） and Hegu （LI4） were most frequently used. Head points Baihui （GV 20） and Sishencong （Ex-HN1） were also frequently used. Acupuncture, scalp acupuncture and acupuncture point injection were the major treatments. Conclusion： Acupuncture intervention can improve the therapeutic effect on cerebral palsy. It is suggested that Baihui （GV 20）, Sishencong （Ex-HN1）, Zusanli （ST36）, Quchi （LI11） and Hegu （LI4） be selected as a basic prescription for acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of cerebral palsy.

Study of a List of Modern Diseases Treated by Tuina Therapy in China

Objective： To analyze and summarize disease and syndromes which can be treated by tuina therapy. Methods： Using literature researching methods to analyze and summarize diseases and symptoms treated clinically by tuina in order to observe the therapeutic effects from Chinese Biomedicine Optical Disk Database （CBM） from 1978 to 2008. The frequency （number） of reported cases for each disease and syndrome was calculated. Results： The list of diseases for tuina therapy included 365 kinds of 16 classifications, including 255 Western medicine diseases, 57 symptoms of Western medicine and 53 traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） syndromes. Conclusion： Tuina is an effective and widely used therapy in the clinic.
