The experimental results show that De-NO with plasma-catalyst has high NO removal rate; Cu zeolite is an effective catalyst which can promote NO removal rate in plasma remarkably; De-NO with plasma-catalyst should be operated at low temperature and the temperature has opposite effects on the function of catalvst and plasma; water vapor and O2 can increase the NO removal rate.展开更多

The prepared powders possessed two absorption edges around 400 and 540 nm wavelengths and showed excellent photocatalytic ability for nitrogen monoxide oxidation under visible light irradiation. Under the irradiation of visible light of wavelength >510 nm,37% of nitrogen monoxide could be continuously removed by the carbon and nitrogen co-doped titania prepared by planetary ball milling of P-25 titania–10% hexamethylenetetramine mixture followed by calcination in air at 400-C.展开更多

Effects of the amount of manganese and iron, oxygen, and calcination temperature on NO conversion were also investigated. It was found that the Mn-Fe/MPS catalyst with a Mn/Fe molar ratio of 1 showed the highest activity at the calcination temperature of 400 °C. The results showed that over this catalyst, NO conversion reached 70% under the condition of 280 °C and a space velocity of 5000 h-1. SO2 and H2O had no adverse impact on the reaction activity when the SCO reaction temperature was above 240 °C. In addition, the SCO activity was suppressed gradually in the presence of SO2 and H2O below 240 °C, and such an effect was reversible after heating treatment.展开更多

On the basis of spectroscopic data and chemical methods, I was identified as 8-hydroxy-3-methoxy- 5H-pyrido[2, 1-c]pyrazin-5-one. Compound I can inhibit the production of NO in peritoneal macrophage of mice induced with LPS. The content of NO was determined by enzyme methods. 2007 Jun Zhi Wang. Methods; Sixty-six patients with CHF were randomly divided into the control group (n = 33) and the trial group (n = 33). The control group received conventional treatment, and the trial group was treated with conventional therapy plus JXD for 4 weeks. Before and after treatment, tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-6 (IL-6) and nitrogen monoxide (NO) in serum and cardiac function were determined. Results: After treatment, the levels of TNF-α, IL-6 and NO were significantly lower than those before treatment (P<0.05, or P<0.01) in the two groups, and the lowering degree of the indices in the trial group was more significantly reduced than that in the control group (P<0.05). And cardiac functions in both groups were improved significantly (P<0.05, or P< 0.01). Conclusion: JXD could prevent and reverse ventricular remodeling so as to ameliorate cardiac function through regulating the levels of cytokines.展开更多

Many epidemiological investigations and animal experiments have indicated that learning and memory ability can be affected to different degrees after long-term exposure to CS2, but the mechanisms are still unclear. The aim of this study was to explore the possible mechanisms of CS2-related impairment of the learning and memory ability of rats, by investigating the effects of CS2 on nitric oxide synthase (NOS) activity and NOS mRNA expression in rat hippocampus. Methods Rat models of toxicity were generated by inhalation of various doses of CS2. After two months of inhaling intoxication, the activities of constitutive NOS (cNOS) and induced NOS (iNOS) in the hippocampus were measured. The levels of neuronal NOS (nNOS) mRNA and iNOS mRNA were measured by semi-quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Results cNOS activity was significantly decreased compared with controls, while iNOS activity was changed only slightly. CS2 treatment significantly decreased nNOS mRNA levels, iNOS mRNA levels were significantly increased only at higher doses of CS2. Conclusion The effect of CS2 on learning and memory ability in rats is related to the activity of NOS and the expression of nNOS in the hippocampus.展开更多
